In Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, the new base-building feature will be covered which allows the players to built weapons and items from their very home base. You need to collect the objects such as diamonds, shipping containers, and blueprint boxes to upgrade your Mother base.

MGSV: The Phantom Pain

Blueprint boxes are one of the collectibles that contain a diagrammatic representation used for upgrading weapons. Using the Blueprints will allow to upgrade the range, stability and damage output of your weapons. To Collect them you need invade the enemy camp across Afghanistan. The Blueprints are well hidden in the enemy camp so here are the location to the Blueprints in MGSV: The Phantom Pain.

You cannot just upgrade you weapons and defense by obtaining the blueprints. you need to have your Intel and R&D team to reach certain level also you need money. This means even if you have the higher level blueprints and lower level team than you have to go through the lower upgrades.

  • BluePrint use: The Bambetov is a 7.62mm semi-auto Sniper Rifle and it has a very high firing speed with low accuracy. It increases the stats and a suppressor. 
  • Team Level: You’ll need level 33 R&D and Intel teams with a massive 390000 GMP to develop.

In order to get this blueprint, you will have to work on a mission called Restore The DMZ, set in a de-militarized zone in Europe. The difficulty is just E, so you won't need to bring in elite soldiers. In case you choose to deploy the Diamond Dogs, you are going to get some other rewards like:

In order to get the blueprint, you need to go to Yakho Oboo Supply Outpost, in the western part of Afghanistan. Once you’re in the building, head for the western corner: the blueprint is on a table between two sofas.

The stun grenades blueprint is located in Kiziba Camp, Angola. You visit it during the Mission 14: Lingua Franca, it’s right halfway between Mfinda Oilfields and Ditadi Abandoned Village. Precisely, you will find it in the large hut in the middle of the camp, on the shelf above the communication equipment, as you can see in the image below.

This blueprint can be obtained during the mission(Break Through The Blockade) where your team of Diamond Dogs escorting a UN transport convoy. All you need to do is wait until they return with rewards. The rewards will have a blueprint, 50,000 GMP, Digital Purpurea and approx 4 volunteers.

In order to get the blueprint, you need to go to in Nova Braga Airport, in the western part of Angola. You'll get a change during Main Mission 16 "Traitor’s Caravan" where you enter the reception desk of the large terminal building, in the western part of the airport. You'll find the case with the schematic just behind the reception.

Hail MGR-4 Grenade Launcher has a higher rate of fire and reloads speed than other grenade launchers. Upgrade Hail MGR-4 Grenade Launcher to Grade 4, you'll get to see an added long magazine. To Upgrade you need a Blueprint, Here’s where you can find it.

You'll get a change during dispatch Mission "Destroy the Uranium Centrifuges" where you have to destroy a uranium enrichment facility in the East. You need a High-Skilled Soldiers and a tank for this mission as the difficulty is 'B'. If you successfully complete this mission you'll be rewarded with the Hail MGR-4 Blueprint, 450,000 GMP, rare chance of 15,000 Minor and approx 4 volunteers.

Isando RGL-220 Grenade Launcher cannot penetrate armor but can fire faster and at a long range for its class. Upgrade Isando RGL-20 Grenade Launcher to Grade 3, you'll get 2 customization slots and a range upgrade with a scope. To Upgrade you need a Blueprint, Here’s where you can find it.

In order to get the blueprint, you need to go to the outpost north of Munoko ya Nioka Station in Angola. This Blueprint is hidden in the yellow house(16th outpost) on the table. In that room, there is a prisoner(interpreter) so both things can be done at same time. Don't know if this will be a part of some Side Op.

Uragan-5P Handgun is the highest range pistol which can damage and crack the armor. Upgrade Uragan-5P Handgun to Grade 4, you'll get to see 2 customization slots with built-in flashlight and a dot. To Upgrade you need a Blueprint, Here’s where you can find it.

In order to get the blueprint, you need to go to Bampeve Plantation in northeastern Angola. Head towards the tent by the road which is just next to the watchtower. The Blueprint is on the Table Also, you'll get a change during Mission 18 "Blood Runs Deep".

AM MRS-71 Sniper Rifle best for the sniper class and does a lot of damages and can also penetrate the armor easily. Upgrade AM MRS-71 Sniper Rifle to Grade 4, you'll get to see 6x variable scope/zoom and improved stability. To Upgrade you need a Blueprint, Here’s where you can find it.

This blueprint can be obtained during a dispatch mission(Destroy the New Fighter Aircraft) where you should have a four-wheel drive vehicle and fire team has to destroy an advanced fighter jet near Eastern Europe, as the pilot of that jet has been detected. The difficulty is 'B' and some of your soldiers may not return. After your mission is successfully completed you will be awarded AM MRS-71 blueprint, 400,000 GMP, rare chance of 400 Golden Crescent and approx 4 volunteers.

Antitheft Device is majorly used during the FOB defense. Antitheft Device is a security device which detect the intruders. Simply place it in an object and the stand which the angle points starts to change. To build this device you need a Blueprint, Here’s where you can find it.

In order to get the blueprint, you need to go in an outpost east of Bwala ya Masa, Angola. You'll get a change during Side Op 8 "Secure the Antitheft Device Blueprint" where you enter the Military camp and it is just kept on the shelf in one of the tents(east side of the road).

IR-Sensor is majorly used during the FOB defense. IR-Sensor is a security device which detect the intruders. If any intruder passes through the IR-Sensor beam, the alarm goes off. To build this sensor you need a Blueprint, Here’s where you can find it.

In order to get the blueprint, you need to go to Qarya Sakha Ee, in eastern Afghanistan. You'll get a change during Side Op 7 "Secure the IR-Sensor" where you enter southern part of the village and it is just kept on the Fridge in one of the small house.

LPG-61 Machine Gun has a high rate of fire with low damage but, can crack the armor. Upgrade LPG-61 Machine Gun to Grade 4, you'll get to see the bigger clip with a customization slot and 4x scope/zoom. To Upgrade you need a Blueprint, Here’s where you can find it.

This blueprint can be obtained during a dispatch mission(Recapture The Port Facilities) where you have to free the port facilities from the pro-independence forces  in Western Sahara. The difficulty is 'A' so you need 10 High-Skilled soldiers and tank if you need to win. After your mission is successfully completed you will be awarded LPG-61 blueprint, 450,000 GMP, rare chance of 400 Golden Crescent and approx 4 volunteers.

Ze’ev Submachine Gun has a very high rate of fire which can crack the armor but, lacks in range. Upgrade Ze’ev Submachine Gun to Grade 4, you'll get to see one customization slot with a bigger magazine and a dot. To Upgrade you need a Blueprint, Here’s where you can find it.

This blueprint can be obtained during a dispatch mission(Search and Destroy Remaining Forces) where you have to end the remaining rebel forces in Southeast Asia(the end of the civil war). You only need about 10 able-bodied soldiers to complete this mission as the difficulty is 'D'. After your mission is successfully completed you will be awarded Ze’ev blueprint, 140,000 GMP, rare chance of 5000 Common Metal and approx 4 volunteers.

Macht 37 Submachine Gun has a high firing speed but, is ignored a lot by the armor. Best at its class. Upgrade Macht 37 Submachine Gun to Grade 4, you'll get to see an under mount and foregrip slots. To Upgrade you need a Blueprint, Here’s where you can find it.

This blueprint can be obtained after the mission 23, where you have to have to enter the tent on a trail behind the Kungenga Mine, Angola. As you are just about to exit out back of the mine, just keep following the trail. Before the trail takes a turn, there is a tent on your left. It is kept on the shelf, collect it and exit.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Guide For Brennan LRS-46 Blueprint Location

Brennan LRS-46 Sniper Rifle provides high damage with infinite range and ignores armor. Brennan sniper rifle is also known as the Show-Stopper. Upgrade Brennan LRS-46 Sniper Rifle to Grade 5, you'll get to see a range upgrade and a muzzle for accuracy. To Upgrade you need a Blueprint, Here’s where you can find it.

This blueprint can be obtained during Main Mission 28: 'Code Talker', where you have to enter the mansion to the east of Lufwa Valley. This Blueprint is kept on the cupboard in the library, on the western part of the mansion. You’ll be ambushed by Skulls, so be fully equipped.

Zorn-KP Handgun fires grenades with high accuracy. Better then throwing some. Upgrade Zorn-KP Handgun to Grade 4, you'll get to see a laser sight with one customization slot. To Upgrade you need a Blueprint, Here’s where you can find it.

This blueprint can be obtained during a dispatch mission(Defend The Pipeline) where your fireteam will have to defend the natural gas pipeline from the enemies attacks. The difficult is B so you need a tank here to ease the mission. After your mission is successfully completed you will be awarded Zorn-KP blueprint, 450,000 GMP, rare chance of 15000 Minor Metal and approx 4 volunteers.
