How To Cheat In Until Dawn During Action Sequences

An interesting way has been discovered in Until Dawn to cheat during the action sequences. I used the term "interesting way to cheat" because this method is within the rules of the game. So want to know how you can cheat in Until Dawn during action sequences?

All you need to do is "Hit R1 when you first hear the ticking and see the icon. This will PAUSE the game. You can then back out and mash the correct button."  Screw slipping in ice water and tripping on logs.
