Fallout 4: List of all the Perks & How do they work

The Perk system is like a mini-tree which shows the SPECIAL stat's categories. Different Perks provide you different abilities or enhance the existing one. The New perks can be unlocked only on the basis of your SPECIAL stat. To Explain this hierarchy in detail here is the list of all the Perks in Fallout 4.

As we mentioned that the Perks are divided into a group of mini-tree that will show you how to unlock a specific Perk in the SPECIAL stat and how does it effect on characters. Let's Check the Perks in detail:

Strength Training

S in the SPECIAL stands for Strength and Strength training is measured on your raw physical power. It will also affect how mush you can carry and damage melee attacks to gain instant 1 point.

Iron Fist
Punching Attacks do 20% more damage.
Requires: STR 1

Big Leagues
Do 20% more melee weapon damage.
Requires: STR 2

Armorer
Protects you from the dangers of Wastelands.
Requires: STR 3

Blacksmith
Gain access to base level and Rank 1 melee weapon mode.
Requires: STR 4

Heavy Gunner
Heavy Guns do 20% more damage.
Requires: STR 5

Strong Back
Gain +25 carry weight.
Requires: STR 6

Steady AIM
Higher the fire accuracy and stay on target.
Requires: STR 7

Basher
Do 25% more damage with Gun Bashing
Requires: STR 8

Rooted
Gain +25 Damage Resistance and melee attacks deal 25% more damage.
Requires: STR 9

Pain Training
You receive a Power Armor(Robots and oversized enemies are immune to stager)
Requires: STR 10

Perception Training

P in the SPECIAL stands for Perception and Perception training provides you sixth sense and affect weapon accuracy in V.A.T.S and instantly gain 1 point.

Pickpocket
Increase your pickpocket by 25%.
Requires: PER 1

Rifleman
Do 20% more damage with higher kill-count.
Requires: PER 2

Awareness
Know your enemies weakness and damage resistance in V.A.T.S.
Requires: PER 3

Locksmith
Advance your picklock ability
Requires: PER 4

Demolition Expert
Increase your explosive damage by 25%.
Requires: PER 5

Night Person
Gain +2 Intelligence and Perception between hours of 6 pm and 6 am.
Requires: PER 6

Refractor
Instant gain +10 Energy Resistance
Requires: PER 7

Sniper
Improve your focus on control and hold longer breath when aiming.
Requires: PER 8

Penetrator
Target Enemy's body part blocked by a cover with decreased in accuracy.
Requires: PER 9

Concentrated Fire
Gain +10% accuracy on every attack on same body part
Requires: PER 10

Endurance Training

E in the SPECIAL stands for Endurance and Endurance training provides you overall physical fitness from health to sprinting also Gain Instant 1 point. 

Toughness
Increase +20 Damage Resistance
Requires: END 1

Lead Belly
Take Less radiation from eating
Requires: END 2

Life Giver
Gain +20 maximum Health
Requires: END 3

Chem Resistance
You're 50% less likely to get addicted when consuming chems.
Requires: END 4

Aquaboy
No longer damage from radiation during swimming and breath underwater.
Requires: END 5

Rad Resistance
Grant you +10 Radiation Resistance
Requires: END 6

Adamantium Skeleton
Reduce limb Damage by 30%
Requires: END 7

Cannibal
Eating human corpses restores Health
Requires: END 8

Ghoulish
Radiation will now regenerate you lost Health
Requires: END 9

Solar Powered
gain +2 Strength and Endurance between the 6 am and 6 pm.
Requires: END 10

C in the SPECIAL stands for Charisma and Charisma training provides you ability to charm others which affect your success to persuade in dialogue and instantly gain 1 point.

Cap Collector
Bargaining with Vendors is now easy
Requires: CHR 1

Lady Killer
Women suffer +5% damage in combat and easy to persuade in dialogue.
Requires: CHR 2

Lone Wanderer
Take 15% less damage and carry weight increases by 50
Requires: CHR 3

Attack Dog
Improve a greater chance to hit them in V.A.T.S.
Requires: CHR 4

Animal Friend
Aim at any animal below you level and gain a chance to pacify it.
Requires: CHR 5

Local Leader
You are able to establish supply lines between your workshop settlements.
Requires: CHR 6

Party Boy
You'll have a good time instead getting addicted to alcohol
Requires: CHR 7

Inspirational
Do more Damage in combat without hurting yourself.
Requires: CHR 8

Wasteland Whisperer
Aim at any wasteland creature below your level with a gun and get a chance to pacify it
Requires: CHR 9

Intimidation
Aim at any Human opponent with a gun and gain a chance to pacify them
Requires: CHR 10

Intelligence Training

I in the SPECIAL stands for Intelligence and Intelligence training provides you improved mental acuity which indirectly affects you experience point earned and instantly gain 1 point.

Path your closest quest target is displayed in V.A.T.S.
Requires: INT 1

Medic
Restores 60% of lost Health and RadAway removes 60% of radiation.
Requires: INT 2

Gun Nut
Shoot First, Kill first and get access to base level and Rank 1 gun mods
Requires: INT 3 

Hacker
Allows you to hack Advanced terminals
Requires: INT 4

Scrapper
Salvage uncommon components like screws, aluminum, and copper when scrapping weapons and armor.
Requires: INT 5

Science
Access to Base Level and Rank 1 high-tech mods
Requires: INT 6 

Chemist
Any Chems last 50% longer
Requires: INT 7

Robotics Expert
Hack a robot and gain chance to power it on/off/self-destruct
Requires: INT 8

Nuclear Physicist
Radiation weapons do 50% more damage and  Fusion cores last 25% Longer

Nerd Rage
Whenever your health drops by 20% time slow down and you gain +20 Damage Resistance and Do 20% more damage

Non-Automatic Pistol does 20% more damage

Do 40% more damage with improved fire accuracy

20% Harder to detect while sneaking
Requires: AGI 3

Mister Sandman
Instantly kill sleeping person and silenced weapons do an additional 15% sneak attack damage.
Requires: AGI 4

Action Boy
Action Points regenerate 25% faster
Requires: AGI 5

Moving target
Get +25 Damage Resistance and +25 Energy Resistance when sprinting
Requires: AGI 6

Ninja
Sneak Attack do 2.5x normal damage and your melee do 4x normal damage
Requires: AGI 7

Quick Hands
You can reload all guns faster
Requires: AGI 8

Blitz
V.A.T.S. melee damage increased significantly

Gun-Fu
Do 25% more damage to your second V.A.T.S. target

Randomly Receive 3x XP from any action

Better Critical
Criticals do 50% more extra damage

Critical Banker
Save a Critical hit that used by V.A.T.S. when you need the most

Grim Reaper's Sprint
Any kill in V.A.T.S. has a 15% chance to restore all action points.
Requires: LCK 8

Four Leaf Clover
Each Hit in V.A.T.S. has a chance of filling your Critical meter
Requires: LCK 9

Ricochet
An enemy's ranged attack will sometimes ricochet back and instantly kill them.
