Stealth gameplay is about to get another shot in the arm from Mark of the Ninja, and here on our full walkthrough page, we’ll help you become a Master Ninja. This 2D stealth action game puts you in the shoes of a loyal ninja with special powers to sense everything in his surroundings.
Instead of trial-and-error gameplay, this game is all about awareness, manipulation, and execution. Take out guards by sneaking up behind, draw them away with bodies or use firecrackers to get their attention before striking from the shadows. Become a hunter, vulnerable yet deadly, and use speed to defeat your enemies before they see what’s coming.

Ink and Dreams
Start off the game by following Ora. Follow her instructions to avoid the first two patrols of guards. Follow Ora to the Grappling Hook.
Shortly after getting the Grappling Hook, you have to use it to go up. The vent on the left will take you to the Voice of the Hisomu, one of the side scrolls you can get.
Take the vent on the right, and go past the guard patrol. Pick up the Sword of Tetsuji. Ora teaches you how to kill the guards. Continue onwards and you’ll be able to get Darts.
Take out the light, then run up and assassinate the guard. The next group of guards you’ll need to avoid by grappling over them and climbing up the side of the building.
Use the distractions–the gongs and lights, to distract the guards. Avoid confrontation and try to go around them when you can.
When you get to a room where Ora tells you to move up to the door to feel behind it, there is a scroll in the room. Climb above the building and climb through the vents to drop down on the guard when he is turned away.
You need to rescue four ninjas in the next part. To rescue the first ninja, hit the gong with a dart in front of the door, then grapple to the ledge above the door. Wait for the guard to come out and drop down and assassinate him when he walks out.
The second ninja is rescued when you crawl the vents to the right, then wait for the guard to turn around before you kill him. COntinue up into the vents to get to the next ninja. Go all the way to the left, then use darts to shoot the ninja down and wait for the guard to turn around to kill him.
Go back to the right. Kill the first guard from the floor vent by shooting down the light. Go all the way around to the right to come up behind the second guard. Then, return to the room on the left where you rescued the third ninja to go above the building.
Keep going on to the right until you get to the room where they’re holding the master. Use darts to shoot the light down on to them, then drop down and quickly dispatch the terrorized guard.
Breaching the Perimeter
Start the level by following Ora’s directions and disabling the lasers by shooting the power boxes with darts. Do this for the first room, then the second. In the third room you come to, peek through the door, then open and hide in the vase until the laser passes. When you get the chance, hold right on the left analog stick and move into the next piece of cover. Grapple up to the ceiling.
In the third room where Ora tells about how guards (or their bodies) disable the security system, wait for the guard, then drop down on him, and drag his body through the security laser. Go down the vent.
Drop down below through the vents. Wait for the guard to turn around, then walk into the room and go into the floor vent. Disable the security system and then kill the guard when he has his back turned.
Once you get outside, grapple to the second light directly above the guard, then drop down and kill him. Move the body to the left, out of the light. Stealthily continue to the right. There’s a guard above on the catwalk, and another on the bottom. Kill the one on the bottom first but hide in the crate. Then grapple to the position above, and wait for the second catwalk guard to pass before jumping up and killing the one who only looks to the left. Then jump up and kill the second guard. The last guard is the easiest. Just hide in the cover, then wait for him to turn his back.
Head into the vent and drop down to disable the power supply. Move into the floor vent.
Drop down through the vent system and use the noisemaker to get the guard to turn around. After you dispatch him, continue to the right and follow the directions to disable the power for the dangling cords.
Move into one of the doorways and stay hidden. Throw a noisemaker to the right to get him to turn around, then kill him. If you go to the ceiling vent there’s a challenge area, or, you can continue onwards.
Move to the right and avoid the first lasers. Hide in the doorway, then hold right on the left analog stick and press B to transfer to the other doorway really quickly. Throw a noisecracker at the guards to get them to turn to the right. Kill the guard first on the lower level then the other on the upper level. Go up the ceiling vent and disable the power supply. Go up the ceiling vent.
Dispatch the first guard below you by waiting for him to walk into the room. Then drop down and kill him. The next guard is even easier, just go into the floor vents below him, then jump up and kill him when he’s above you. Go to the right and hide in the room. Use the noisemaker to distract the guard, then kill him. Go to the roof above the room and dispatch the three guards there. Keep heading to the right.
Kill the first two guards by hiding in the pots and waiting for them to pass by. The second guard you need to distract with a noisemaker.
In the next room, a guard is patrolling outside of the door. You’ll need to wait for him by hiding in the pot.
Go up the ceiling vent. Kill the first guard, then distract the second. A third will come from the left so hide the two bodies and grapple to the ceiling and wait for him to pass to kill him.
Go all the way to the left and go up the ceiling vent. Where it splits off, go to the left, then come into the room with the two guards and throw a noisemaker to the right. Dispatch both, then go to the right and climb up the side of the building.
Kill the first guard after the second turns around. Then stash the body in the floor vent. Jump to the ceiling or hide behind the pot for the second guard. Hide his body too. Move to the next room but you need to kill the guard above you first. Grapple up, then jump up to come up behind the guard on the second level. Kill him, then drop down and kill the other guard.
If you drag one of the guard’s body’s the left, then kill the guard behind the door. Throw his body off the roof, then climb up the side of the building to go into a vent. It’ll take you back to the same room, but go up the ceiling vent.
The Trail of Shadow
Lower yourself from the first grapple position and jump to the right, then drop down below. For the two guards, there’s a couple different ways to kill them but I climbed along the ceiling and got behind the second guard while the first was turned, then went back to kill the other.
After the two guards, you can climb along the left wall to get to an artifact.
Go back down to the next room. Either distract and kill the dog first, or climb along the ceiling to kill the guard then the dog.
Keep moving, kill the lone guard and hide his body and move on. Jump down and kill the guard when he turns around, then distract and kill the dog.
Hide the two bodies. Then climb up the side of the next room to go above it. You can then drop down through the vent and get the two guards or go the long way around to the right. There are two guards on top of the building. Kill the first when he’s turned away and out of the light, then head up and to the left to go to the next area.
Once you get into the building, kill the first guard. The second level is optional because if you do go through the doors, a laser will kill you. But if it’s worth getting the artifact then go for it. Go up to the third level.
There is a guard all the way on top of the building. Kill him first, then go back to the right. Distract the flare guard, kill him, and move below. There are two guards below.
GO into the floor vent to go to the challenge room, or go back and climb to the ceiling. Kill the first guard, then go to the left to kill the guard in the room. Continue on to meet up with Ora.
Drop all the way to the bottom to get the artifact, then go to the right through the vents. There are two guards, then head through the vents to the right to get another artifact. If you keep following the vents you’ll come up behind the flare guard. Then kill the two guards to the left, and then head back to the room above the flare guard. There are three guards above it. Drop through the vent once the guards are killed.
Spider dangle down, then shoot the electric circuit to turn off the lasers and head right. Wait for the guard to pass, then drop down behind the dog and kill it quickly. There are two guards to the right.
Drop down, retrieve the smoke bomb and then climb up the wall on the right to the vent. Use the smoke bombs next to the lasers to get past them.
Start following the target. Avoid being seen. Follow him from above, then when you get to the second building jump to the ground, climb to the roof, then go into the vent, using the smoke bomb to get past the lasers.
Go back into the floor vents and head to the right, watch the target from the floor vent to make sure the guards leave before you get out of the vent. Leave it, then head to the right. Drop down, then run past the laser when it points to the other side of the room. Climb up to the ceiling to watch the target from the floor vent again.
Wait for the target to pass and the dog to turn its back to grapple to the ceiling. Wait for the target to pass, then drop down and go down the vent behind the guard. Drop down to the laser system and drop below it to disable the security. Then go back to the ceiling above the sleeping guard to go inside the vent.
Go to the floor vent on the far left. Use a smoke bomb to get past the laser, kill the guard, then run to the flower pot when the laser has turned. Go into the next room and kill the first guard quickly. The other guard will notice and run over. Hide in the doorway and kill him when he’s run over. Turn off the lights and grapple to the ceiling.
Drop down and kill the hound. Unlock the door on the left and pull the lever to climb into the vent for the next part.
For the next room, jump into the middle, and hold LT. Switch to your darts and take out both circuit boxes to take out the lasers. Then head down the floor vent.
Where the vent splits off, go to the right. Dangle all the way down till you can hit the switch then go back to the forth and drop down on the target from the left. You know what to do next.
Once the alarm is sounded, run to the right and drop down through the floor vent. Climb down the elevator shaft. Go into the vent and shoot the first light out, then the second. Drop down and kill the guard and dog, then press the button for the elevator. Climb back up the elevator shaft.
Wait for the lasers to pass, then run to the first pot. Wait for them to swing to the side before you move and get across the room. Get into the shaft and dangle down to throw darts at the two lasers. Drop down and again and grapple to the second platform.
Drop down to the third platform and jump to the right to leave the shaft. Wait for the guards to pass, then drop down and kill the guard with the dog. Then jump up and get the guard above before coming back around getting the last guard from the other side. Meet Ora at the very end of the level.
A Change in Course
Head to the left. Follow Ora through the vent and get the spike mine. Throw the spike mine when the guard passes, making sure he doesn’t hear it. Then go left and drop down to the pot you can hide behind. Shoot the birds nest and kill the guard when he comes.
Move into the room. Move past the sound detector the same way as the lasers. Wait for them to point elsewhere before moving out of cover to the next piece of cover. Grapple up to avoid being detected and keep moving left down the stairs.
Wait for the motion sensor to pass, then grapple to above the guards. Climb the ceiling and take out the two electrical circuits to drop down on the remaining guard and dog. Go into the vent in the wall to the left. Climb up the elevator shaft to the second vent.
Drop down on the first guard and hide his body next to the artifact. Then wait for the second guard to turn around before coming for him too. Press B to turn on the electrical generator.
Climb up the elevator shaft. Go left and avoid the laser. Run under the second one and shoot the circuit from below before heading left and outside. There is an artifact all the way at the left. Go back to the building and climb up the outside of it to climb in through the vent. Open the door when the laser isn’t on you. Get to the first cover, and move to the second one when the vertical laser moves at you from the left. Wait for the lasers to pass before going down the floor vent.
Get the artifact then drop down into the room. Go into the room to the left when the lasers pass and shoot the circuit with a dart. Open the gas vents and move back to the right for the elevator shaft.
Go to the first vent on the right. Hang above the guard and kill him when he turns to the left, then grapple back to the ceiling. Go into the vent. Hang above the second guard, and wait for the guard and the motion sensor to go back to the right before dropping down on the second guard. Go back into the vent and go above the dog. Drop down on the dog and hide in the flower pot until the dog has its back turned.
Turn on the gas, then head back into the ceiling vent. Go up and grapple to the perch. Shoot darts at the top light while above the patrol and at the light above the soldier to the right simultaneously.
Drop down and kill the guard to the right, then go all the way to the left to kill the guard and kill the power. At this point I climbed back into the elevator shaft and decided to go back to the gas vent that I missed below.
Go into the first room. Then turn off the power switch. The guard will turn his back to turn the switch on behind him. Then go into the ceiling vent. Drop down on the guards and turn off the light. Kill the first guard and pull him away from the light. Then grapple to the ceiling and wait for the second guard to come back. Kill him then go past the motion sensor to the floor vent.
In the next room, drop down on the guard, then down a level to get past the motion sensors. Then go to the left and wait for the guard at the left to turn around before coming up from behind. Drop down on the guard, then run up to the dog. Go back to the left and pick the lock to the gas vent. Go back to the left for the next vent.
Enter the next room and grapple to the ceiling. Wait for both guards to turn then kill the one on the right. Grapple to the ceiling, then drop down and kill the guard to the left. Use smokescreen to open the vent.
Climb up the side of the building and go to the next room. Shoot a dart ad the circuit breaker and go back into the elevator shaft.
Climb up to the second vent. Then go through the vents to the room with the moving laser. When the laser passes, grapple to the first ledge, then the second, then shoot the circuit with your dart. Turn off the laser and open the vent. Back to the elevator shaft.
Go up to the rooftop and shoot darts at the electric targets around the hanging object. Run to the right to escape the fire. Grapple to the right, then throw a smoke bomb down in front of the guard. Jump down, then drag his body through the laser to get past the security and shoot the circuit box.
The Fall of Hessian Tower
Start off the level by grappling above the first guard and throwing a smoke bomb down at him. Drop down and then drag his body past the lasers. Shoot the circuit box above you to move to the next room.
Run to the first doorway when the laser passes, then hold right on the analog stick and press B when the laser passes by again. Wait a third time for the laser to pass, then grapple to the ledge, and then up through the ceiling.
For the next room, just jump up through the vent and hide in the pot immediately. Wait for the guard to pass by. Then hide his body in the vent. Go to the left and turn the switch on, go back to the pot. Wait for the guard to walk up to the switch then hide his body in the vent too.
Unlock the door to the next room, then stash the guard’s body in the vent. Crawl on the ceiling to get to the next room. Grapple to the ledge to the right and fall behind the guard. Drag his body back over to the vent to drop it, turn off the motion sensors and the lights on at the same time. Then go above and kill the shielded guard. Do the same with his body.
Go back up and shoot the circuit box. If you go through the floor vent instead, there’s another challenge room. Continue to the next room and go up through the ceiling vent.
Go back to the original room, three guards will enter so stay in the pot on the second level on the right side of the room. Wait for the shield guard, then grapple above the second guard. Go back to the pot and drop down on the right side on the third guard.
Shoot the circuit box, then go into the vent and wait for the guard. Climb along the ceilng, and drop behind the second guard. Press the switch for the motion detector, and get the first guard.
Go out the vent and go up along the outside of the building. Kill the guard through the door.
Avoid the lasers. First grapple to the second level, then drop and hang on the ceiling of the second level. Grapple to the second ledge, then dangle, and grapple to the next ledge. Crawl up on the outside of the building. Get back inside through the vent and time the passing between the lasers.
After the cinematic, wait for the spotlight to pass the guard to walk below you before dropping down. Go to the right and press the button, then go to the center of the room, and crawl along the ceiling to get the second guard. Shoot the circuit box and continue on.
Before you go to the next room, drop down into the floor vent. Through a smoke bomb at the two guards and kill them, then grapple to the first ledge, then to the second ledge to get the third guard.
Go back down and kill the circuit box to move past the next door. Go up into the ceiling vent to where the sniper is.
Go left and wait for the lasers to pass over you before you grapple to the ceiling. Kill the guard, then drag his body to get past the laser. Then go to the switch and move the box in front of the sniper’s line of sight. Drop down and go to the floor vent to the right. Climb up along the outside of the building. Grab the artifact.
The next room has a circuit box. Turn off the power, then drop down on the sniper. Grapple to the ceiling vent.
Go to the floor vent on the very right. Use the switch to move the box in front of the light, then climb along the ceiling to turn off the power. Kill the guard and keep moving to the left.
Unlock the door and move to the vent above you when the guard has his back turned. Go through the ceiling vent and kill the sniper. Use the switch,then shoot the circuit box and grapple to the ceiling.
Avoid the lasers then go all the way to the right and do the same to the sniper and the switch. Go back to the center of the room and shoot all of the “high voltage” supports.
If you don’t land directly on him, finish him off.
An Ancestral Home
Start the level by going through the vent and the guard. Go back and kill him if you choose. Continue to the right, but wait for a flash of lightning before you open the door to the next room. Hide behind the box, wait for a flash, then jump above him and shoot out the light to drop down on the guard.
Go up and kill the third guard, then go into the building through the vent above.
Pull the middle lever, the other two will kill you.
Crawl up the side vent and dispatch the first guard after a flash of lightning. Leave the vent and wait in the first cover before the guard turns to the right. Keep going all the way to the right so you can turn off the power and sneak up on the next guards.
After you get the second group of guards, grapple above the third group of guards. Crawl on the ceiling to drop behind the guard on the right standing still, then grapple to above the active guard to drop behind him. You might lure him with the first dead body if he turns around.
Hold B and the left analog stick to the left to move the barrier out of the way. Crawl along the vents, then drop down and hang on the ceiling in the first room. Wait for the guard to walk to the right before dropping down, then get rid of the dog. Head to the left.
Open the door. If you do this right he’ll notice you, but just hide behind the pot and wait for him to walk past before coming out of cover. Then keep going to the left and go down the floor vent. Drop down on the sleeping guard, and drag his body through the laser security system.
Head to the right, unlock the door and go into the floor vent before the guard turns around. Wait for him to walk above you. Go down and get the artifact and turn off the power. Then go back up and time the lasers. Run between them and disable them before they reactivate.
Go into the vent. If you go up, you need to throw a smoke bomb at the guard and dog before you go on, but if you go right you can come up behind the guard and the dog.
Head up. If you go the left there is a scroll. Stay out of the spotlight and use the pots as cover to get close to the guard. Then go down the vent into the room to collect the scroll. Keep going right, when you get to a space on your map that keeps going down, there is another scroll. Drop to the very bottom and push the box in front of the lasers to go past them.
Keep going right. When you get to the point where there is a box, push it underneath the ledge and jump on top of it to keep going up. There is one guard above you, just grapple to behind him.
If you look on your map there is tall room beneath you, just drop down into it to get the artifact, then grapple back up and out. Keep heading to the right. There is one guard on the ground level, then drop below and use a smoke bomb to dispatch the two guards on the bottom. Head into the vents on the right.
Wait for each laser to dissipate before you grapple up. Move the box to the left and jump around it, then move into the next room. Head down and to the right into the catacombs.
Wait for the guard to head in your direction in the sewer area. Keep heading to the left, and when you drop down, move the box to the right. Jump above and crawl to the left. There is a challenge room there.
There is a vent that the box you moved covered. Go into it and then go right until you reach a vent. Go down.
Move the box left and go into the vent to turn off the power to the lasers. Then go back to the main room and grapple through the lasers when the coast is clear. For the second laser, wait for the walking guard to go the other direction before you drop, then pick the lock and disable the power generator.
Go beneath the room into the vents. Move the box, and keep heading to the left. Come out of the vent, then grapple to the ledge, but it breaks so don’t stay on it for too long. Go left, you actually need to jump out, then grapple up at the last second before you hit the lasers.
Then go up into the room and flick the switch to turn off the lasers. Then go down. Before you turn off the power generator, throw down caltrops. Then turn off the power generator and grapple back up. Dangle, then throw down a smoke bomb and dispatch all three guards. Don’t forget to go left to collect the artifact. Return to the main room and keep turning the gear so you can drop down into the catacombs.
Above a Bottomless Chasm
Start off the level by climbing downwards. Watch out for the grapple points because they disappear after a few seconds. Climb up the tunnel past the first vent.
When you get to the first room, run across the floor because it disappears. Then grapple to the first dissolving grapple point, and then climb on the ceiling. Grapple to the next point, then jump to the ledge. Keep heading right through the vents. When you get to the first one, push the big box the right. If you keep heading right, there is another box that if you push right, there is an artifact below.
Drop down below. When you get to the poison fog, there is an artifact to the left that you can run to get to, then go right and grapple up to get outside of the poison fog.
Keep heading right. When you get to a lever, pull it and wait for the crate to get to the door, then pull the lever again to stop the crate. Grapple to the crate and pick the lock to get through the door.
Pull the lever to bring the crate in front of you, then pull it again and grapple to it to ride on it. Hang onto the side of the crate so that the ceiling doesn’t push you off and so you’re not in the poison gas either.
Ride the crate past the guards, then drop above and run to the ledge of the platform. Grapple past to the top of the room. Grab onto the ceiling and crawl past the two guards to drop on the other side of the door.
Pull the lever to call up the crate, then ride it to get through the lasers. Throw caltrops at the guard below, then either go into the floor vents or keep going right to get rid of the next guard.
Find a way into the building through the cargo passage. Go right, and drop down on the guard standing in front of the lever. Grapple up and dispatch the first two guards in the elevator shaft. Climb up the ceilings to reach them. Pull the lever and ride the cargo up into the building.
Stay on the right side of the cargo so that the guard doesn’t see you. Drop down onto the floor, and get the sleeping guard before you pull the lever and head up.
First get on the right side of the cargo, then crawl onto the other side so that you’re hanging off the left. Crawl back to the top and grapple to the wall and climb up the duct. Grapple back to the cargo and ride it to the top, then get off and into the vent.
Pull the lever and ride the bottom of the crate to get past the first lasers, then jump off and leave the crate blocking the first vertical lasers. Go to the next lever and ride the second cargo to where you can head right by crawling on the ceiling.
Keep heading left, then go to the bottom of the next room. Turn on the lever. Wait for the first guard to come from the right, then keep going up levels and killing guards until you get to the door. Wait in one of the doorways until the guards pass, and then when time is up, grapple to the ceiling.
The Inner Keep
Open the door and grapple to the first ledge, then grapple over to the second. Wait for the guard and dog to walk the furthest apart, then jump down to the floor vent and drop in.
Push the box to the right, then climb up the vent. Shoot the light out with your dart then wait for the flare guard to walk over you.
Go up the vent and drop behind the sniper before you jump behind the next guard. When you get into the next room, go up the ceiling vent. There is a sleeping guard and then another outside the door. Climb up the building when you’re through with them.
Wait for guard to start walking to the right before you come behind him. Drop down the ledge to the right and get the sniper before the two guards patrol outside the door. Use a poison dart on one of the guards so that they kill each other.
Go inside the room and come up behind the shield guard. Then go back out the door on the right and move into the next building.
In the next section, drop down a level. Then keep walking right until you get to an elite guard. Unlock the floor vent, then drop down and come on the other side of the guard. Run around and make noise so that the guard comes out, then press B to electrocute him.
Walk under the elite guard and the other guard. Keep going right. Drop down into the room, wait for the guard to walk to the right, and then climb into the ceiling vent. Turn on the poison gas, then go back to the other room to dispatch the last guard. This leads to a scroll.
Go back to where you walked below the guard and the elite guard. Shoot the light with your dart so it falls on them. Push the box so it’s over the laser and then climb on the ceiling. There is a challenge room if you go all the way right. Otherwise, go up the ceiling vent. Kill the first guard above you and then turn off the light, Go back down into the floor vent and wait for the elite guard. Jump up to the ceiling but watch the elite guard on the second level.
Crawl along the ceiling above the elite guard and continue on to the right. Go up the floor vent and wait for the guard to turn. Go outside, and hide in the pot until the lightning and elite guard pass. Drop down to the floor vent and unlock it. Once inside the vent, go left.
Use a distraction flare to distract both guards then kill the first from the vent, then get the second. Pull the lever, then drag one of the guard’s bodies to the right. Disable the helicopter.
Go back left, then grapple above the guards. Drop to the floor vents and get rid of the guards before you head left. There is a scroll below you before the level ends
A Blade at His Neck
Start the level by climbing up. Go left and to into the ceiling vent. Pull the box to the right, then go above the guards to the right. Drop down, unlock the floor vent, and turn off the power. Go back above the guards and dangle down to steal the key.
Go back up and press B to open the door. Go into the floor vent and wait for the elite guard to pass before you go left. Climb along the outside of the building. Wait for the guard looking off the ledge to pass.
Wait for the guard to turn back around then jump back up to the next level to get him before he reaches the door. Go up a level and use a noise maker or a poison dart to distract the dog. Then move in for the guard. Throw the guard’s body to the right.
Drop down and drag the guard’s body through the lasers. For the next room, use your vision to see what’s going on in the room, then run to the first piece of cover when the elite turns.
Wait for him to turn again and run to the second piece of cover, then unlock the floor vent and get into the ducts. Crawl up and wait for the guard to get near. Leave the vent to get the shield guard, then wait in cover for the other guard to check out the body.
Take out the light with a dart so that the elite doesn’t see you. Get into the vent, then grapple up past the elite and then to the next level when you can.
Use a distraction flare or noise maker to distract the two guards so you can come behind them. Simply assassinate the second key holder after you pickpocket him.
Drop down and move out of the building. Drag the box to the left so that you can jump on top of it. Keep jumping up and to the right and scale the building. At a certain point you can’t scale it anymore, you need to jump out and grapple to the wall. Climb on top of the building and down the ceiling vent.
Drop down. To move past the motion sensor, use the cover. Transfer from one cover to another until you’re past the sensor. Go up to the door. Hide in the doorway until the laser passes, then drop down the stairs. Wait for the laser to pass again to go into the next room.
Jump up and into the tower. Hold B and the left analog stick to the left to get access to the lever, then drop down to turn on the box. Avoid the lasers by alternately hanging on the bottom of the box, the left side, and then the left side. Activate both switches when you get to the top of the tower.
Go to the tower on the left. To avoid the first laser, crawl along the wall with the laser on the way up until the laser is past the box. Then jump onto the first box. Wait for the lasers to be on their way down and grapple to the second box, climb above it and jump to the switches.
Run down to the power generators. In one motion, wait for the two lasers to be above you, then grapple to the ledge and drop down into the vent. crawl through to deactivate the generator.
Go back to the motion sensor room. Don’t go above because there will be a sniper. Wait for the guard to walk back to the left. Stand still when the motion sensor passes over you.
In the next room, drop down to the floor then move into cover in the pots. Wait for the elite guard to pass and keep moving left through the cover. Eventually you’ll need to quickly grapple up and then jump to the ceiling in one motion so that the sniper on the left doesn’t get a chance to see you.
Do the dirty deed.
A Shattered Stronghold
Start off by running to the right, above the building with the artifact. If you go down below first you can retrieve an artifact. When you get to the first guard, run past the car which will explode and come up behind him.
Get past the guards by running quickly through the sandstorm, avoiding the booby traps. When you get to the floor spikes, jump above the two guards and pull the box to the left.
Drop below and take out the two guards to continue. Then move back to the vent and talk to the prisoner. Continue to the right. I took the upper route. Go all the way to the right and climb behind the shield guard.
Leave the building and jump onto the next building. There should be a guard here but use the sand storm as cover. Keep going right and take out guards as needed, using the sand storm as cover. When you get back inside the building, use the first pot as cover.
Take out the guard and use the body as bait. The other guard will come running over so take him out too. Climb up to retrieve the tattoo needles. Stand at the gear and move the box up, triggering the chains as you climb up the wall and use the box as cover.
If you drop all the way back down, there is an artifact in the basement. There is one guard waiting, then a shield guard inside the room. Otherwise, move into the sand storm and continue right.
You’ll pass a room on the way to the right, it has an artifact inside it. Otherwise, keep heading right to steal the keys from the guard. Initially go right into the building and jump to the ceiling to drop on the first sniper.
Go right, and drop down on the second sniper. Then climb down the wall and take out the light with a dart. Take out the shield guard, then drop down and steal the keys.
Head back left and collect the artifact. Then stand above the ledge where you can drop down and hold down farsight. When the guard finally turns, drop down into the cover.
Drop below after you take care of the guard. Take the top route because it’s easier than the bottom.
Go into the room, take out the patrolling guard and hide his body below. Jump to the top of the room until you get to the gear and wait for the second guard to investigate. Drop down, then shoot a dart at the light on the left to distract the flare guard. Then go back to the left and take out the shield guard.
Go back up to the gear and turn it all the way, then jump down really quickly into the floor. Push the box to the right and drop down to get the tattoo needles. Continue left.
When you get to the obstacles, go the bottom route. Trigger the switch and the chain, then run across. Shoot out the light with a dart and kill the shield guard, then drop down below. Trigger the spikes, then run across.
Shoot out the mine above the guard so it falls on him and explodes. Climb all the way back up.
Wait for the guard to come above you. Then climb up and come behind the shield guard. Go back left and return to the prisoner to free him.
Set to Flight
Follow the girl and run on top of the buildings. Then drop down and head into the building once the door opens. Use the mark of serenity to get past the mines and the swinging blades.
Jump above the exit and wait for the guard to enter, then use the mark of serenity to get past.
Grapple to the first ledge. Wait for the guard to drop, then use the mark to get to the pots on the right. Use cover to move left. Then grapple up and out of the room. Continue right.
Distract the two guards by using a noise maker, then teleport around them and continue to the right. Drop down into the tunnels.
Drop down and grapple past the spike floor. Continue to the right. Turn the gear all the way to the left, then run over to the lever. Pull, it then, hide under the box until there are no more falling arrows. Continue right.
Trip the chain arrows or use the gear to raise the box, then pull the lever and hide behind the box. Continue up.
Climb all the way over the building, then grapple to the ledge. Use a dart to distract the guards, then teleport past them. Continue right.
Climb along the outside of the building. Drop down and shoot the gong to get the shield guard distracted. Pull the lever and go back to the right. Drop below.
Shoot out the light or the wind chimes to get the guard to come in your direction, then step on the switch to kill him with the spikes. Head left, then teleport to the tunnel leading down.
Grapple across the room and switch the lever. Then jump across the room and grapple to the ledge. Pull the next lever.
Walk up the limit of the guard’s line of sight and teleport past. Then stand on the switch and teleport up the tunnel.
Pull the lever and teleport to the other side of the door. Then climb up and to the right. Enter the next building. Drop down and use the grapple ledges. When you get to the second one, teleport to the right. Then grapple up.
Speed is the easiest way to get past the next guards. Climb up and teleport past the swinging blade. Then jump left and grapple to the different points, using teleport again to get past the second swinging blade. Jump up and to the right to leave the building.
The Return
Head right. Then grapple to above the light and turn the gear to the left to move the light at the banner. Jump to the right, then grapple to the ledge below the vent. Head into the building.
In the first room, climb up the ledge on the left and turn the gear all the way to the left. Teleport next to the floor vent and drop down. Then move into the next room.
Turn the gear all the way to the left, then run under. Pull the lever, then go into the floor to go back to the gear. Turn it all the way to the left again to let light onto the banner. Teleport over to it and drop down the floor vent.
Keep heading down. When you get to the room with a light, push it to the right until it’s over the face. Keep heading right.
Head up into the subway. Grapple to the left, then hide in the doorway. Grapple left and head up the duct.
Go up and then pick the lock of the door on the left. Crawl all the way along the ducts to the right and then enter the next room. Shoot out the light and then go down the floor vent to go around the guards. Go back up to the subway.
Wait for the train to pass then grapple to the left. Hide in the doorway, then grapple left again and up.
Head right and then scale the building till you get to the upper room. Go to the right and move the light-box right so that a banner is unillimunated. Go back to the gear and turn it all the way to the left so that you can jump on top of it and up.
Jump up and retrieve your gear. Head right. Drop down on the guards. Scale the side of the building to the second vent. Enter, then push the light to the right away from the lever.
Drop down and activate the lever. Head right. Drop down into the subway. Same thing as before, wait for the train to leave and grapple left. Hide in the ceiling. Then grapple left and drop down into the floor vent.
In the next room, pull the lever, then quickly head right to avoid getting hit by the arrows.
Push the box on top of the switch so that the arrows don’t shoot you while you move the box above. Jump up and move the light-box above the banner.
Head up. Dispatch the guard, then go up the stairs. Shoot the gong with a dart then come up behind the shield guard. Go inside the room, then go up the ducts and to the right to turn off the power.
Go back down to get rid of the guards that come in from the right, then go back to the top of the building so you can grapple past all the other guards.
Keep jumping above the guards, as you will eventually find yourself at another building. Enter, then go up. Teleport past the guard on the ledge, then keep heading right. Eventually you will need to go up because there is an elite guard below.
Drop down and kill the guard behind the door. Go down the floor vent and climb along the ceiling. Drop down in front of the elite guard into the floor vent.
Kill the first guard, then drop down the vent. Hit the gong so the guard comes out, then drop down on him. Keep heading in.
Climb onto the left side of the main room and shoot a dart at the gong so the guard looks down. Come up behind him, then head into the vent.
Wait for the guard to come back into the room and turn his back. Then turn on the switch. Get into the ceiling vent, then teleport below the sniper. Come up behind the sniper and kill him, then the guard above you. There is one last guard in the room on the right. Drop down on him.
Go back to the main room. Turn the gears so that the lights face the faces opposite of them. This will move the suit’s arms and you can get the lever.
Some of the advanced guards will enter the room. Before you run away, I suggest poisoning one of them with your darts. Then go right, up above the room, and come down on the left to go the way you came in.
