Max Payne 3 has been out for about a week now, and like every other Rockstar Games release, it is kind of buggy—and will be until they patch it up.
I'm sure we can all recall when Red Dead Redemption's John Marston had to use human birds as target practice and ride a donkey woman instead of a horse, or when the detective could run up buildings in L.A. Noire. Similar oddities happen in Max Payne 3.
We've put together a list of ten bizarre glitches we've come across in Max Payne 3. Don't let these bugs dissuade you from picking the game up right now, though—it's good in spite of its glitches.
The glitches come in both the singleplayer campaign and multiplayer varieties. As always, these glitches can get a bit spoilery—especially the ones that take place in the single player campaign. So be warned.
Ragdoll physics in Max Payne 3 never fail to impress—except when they mess up and cause corpses to fly around in the most ridiculous ways.
Despite the fact that most of these characters have been shot to death by Max Payne, their hands and feet continue to twitch even after death. This same video showcases a floating bullet.
This player managed to run completely out of bounds in the airport map. It's an epic part of the game—provided you don't run into this bug.
After consuming some painkillers, Max apparently loses his mind and falls through the floor. Don't do drugs, kids.
Killing some characters doesn't cause them to drop dead. Instead, they walk around as if they're still alive. Funny, that. Maybe Leoric is responsible.
Max may have a drinking problem but no one could've ever imagined it involved an invisible arm, and a floating bottle. His cigar seems to float around of its own free will.
I sense a recurring theme with these glitches. Invisible textures and disappearing models seem to be the theme of the day with Max Payne 3.
This video exhibits a bug where the player can't kill anyone—or be killed, for that matter. It's more of a curse than a gift, really.
Max has fallen and he can't get up. Like Maru, Max is stuck in a milk crate after doing his John Woo-esque jumping move into it.
The airport isn't the only map in which Max can run out of bounds. There's numerous others in which this happens, as showcased in this video.
