Watch Dogs Audio Log Locations List

For the committed gamer, nothing feels better than totally completing a game. When it comes to Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs that means collecting the 101 Audio Logs hidden throughout the city Aiden Pearce roams around in. To officially complete Watch Dogs 100%, you only need to acquire 10 of the Audio Logs though so check your progression against our Achieving 100% Checklist. However the Audio Logs provide details of characters’ backgrounds and stories, collecting and listening to them will create a fuller and richer Watch Dogs gaming experience, not only in terms of things to do. Worth rummaging around for if you ask me.

Next: Watch Dogs Audio Log Locations Part 2

You’ll find the Audio Logs in a variety of places: PDAs, radios, notebooks, phones and computers. Hack the device, which you’ll see glowing blue until you take the Audio Log, to save the recording to Aiden’s phone. Once you have an Audio Log it stays saved on Aiden’s phone for the rest of the game, even if you have to revert back to a previous save point the Audio Log isn’t lost. Below you’ll see a list of the Audio Log locations in Watch Dogs, grouped by the character name as you’ll see on Aiden’s phone mid-game.

    Aiden Pearce: 5
When you start your Watch Dogs adventure you already have 4 of Aiden’s Audio Logs, so they cannot count towards the 10 you need for 100% completion. The last Audio Log is found back in Aiden’s room at the Owl Creek Motel, on his notebook computer by the door on the sofa.

    Angela Balik: 8
Gather these Audio Logs as you unlock the ctOS Breaches. You can brush up on how to do that with our ctOS Breaches guide here.

    Bedbug: 3
The first of these Audio Logs can only be accessed during the mission By Any Means Necessary in Act III. Collect it by heading back to the drug packing-room you guided Bedbug through and unlocking the side door. Inside this concealed room are money, some electronic parts and an Audio Log in the corner by the door.

Back in Act II mission Uninvited, you had to plan an ambush in an old abandoned factory. You may have even got the Audio Log already, but if not go back and hack it from the smartphone on the table near the security footage you were looking for.

You’ll have to wait until the By Any Means Necessary mission in Act III to tick off this Audio Log. It isn’t the most obvious Audio Log to find, so when you’re breaking into Rossi-Fremont Tenements go up in the lift from the lobby. Then search for the door under the ramp leading you to the next floor and unlock it by hacking the nearby junction box. Behind the door you will find the computer containing this Audio Log and some ammo.

          Blume Engineers: 6
As you search for the Blume Engineers Audio Logs, keep an eye out for wireless radios; that’s how you’ll find all of the logs. Your hunt is also simplified by the fact that all of these Audio Logs are found the abandoned Ogden steel factory on Abbot Island. Travel there by boat until you reach the A Blank Spot There-ish mission in Act II. During that mission you must reactivate three generators, to find the first Audio Log head to the generator on a small building northwest of the island. Down at the south facing base of the building you’ll see a radio by an old mattress. Hack it to hear your first Blume Engineers Audio Log.

The next Audio Log for you to gather is down an alley, by the shipping container that shields the lift up to the Bunker on the island.

In the southern part of Abbot Island you will find a locked gate. Unfortunately this Audio Log is beyond that obstacle. Utilise the cargo crane to get yourself across the gap, which you traverse through the open container. Once you’ve passed that, turn and spot the radio containing the Audio Log.

Surprisingly the homeless have Wi-Fi radios too in Watch Dogs. The following Audio Log is found in the northwestern part of Abbot Island by the water. Look for the radio in one of the homeless men’s cardboard boxes and hack it for another Blume Engineers insight.

While in the north of the island, go along the train track until you reach an alley between two warehouses. The radio is in the north end of the alley, which is full of debris. Approach the radio from the southern end of the alley and get over the fence to access your Audio Log.

Near the Bunker in the southern part of Abbot Island, you should search for a boombox between the rows of shipping containers. That isn’t the standard radio, but it’s there for hacking.

                      Charlotte Gardner: 3
Retrieve the Audio Logs while unlocking the ctOS Breaches.

                      Damien Brenks: 9
In the process of unlocking the ctOS Breaches, you will come across 6 of the 9 Damien Brenks Audio Logs. If you unlock them properly! Aside from those, you will find the Audio Logs across three different areas.

The first of these is the Racine Restoration shipyard you encounter during the Act II mission Breakable Things. You need to locate the PDA in the garage under Racine’s office.

Once you’ve broken out of your cell in the Dressed in Peels mission during Act I, make your way up to the third floor office and retrieve the Audio Log from the phone on the desk.

Take a peek in the cafeteria at Blume’s campus while you infiltrate in for the Act III mission The Future is in Blume. One of the booths contains a table with a PDA resting on it, hack that PDA for the Audio Log.

                          Iraq: 8
As you unlock the ctOS Tower by the Rossi-Fremont housing development, see our guide on How To Unlock ctOS Towers if you’re not sure, there will be a smartphone opposite the door in the same room as the tower.

Staying in The Wards, search the large piles of PVC pipe in the northeastern section of the Rossi-Fremont housing development. There are a few, but some things need to be more challenging to keep you on your toes. There will be a smartphone resting on top of one of the PVC pipe bundles, which holds the Audio Log you’re looking for.

The next Audio Log is only available during the Act II mission Grandma’s Bulldog. Having hacked the first router of the mission, you’ll be able to spot a smartphone on one of the counters in the Rossi-Fremont lobby. Looking out for the assault rifles next to the phone might make it easier to find.

Whilst completing the Grandma’s Bulldog mission you’ll make your way through the arcade to a storage room. Locate the next Audio Log on the floor in the corner beside the couple. The phone may be hard to miss but the people are less so.

Stay focused during Act II mission Grandma’s Bulldog because there is a third Iraq Audio Log to find. Just after taking the previous Audio Log you will have to hack a router and eventually a camera positioned a lift shaft. With that camera you’ll be able to see the computer in the next room and hack it for the Audio Log.

You’ll be sure to pay a visit to the Unicorn Dragon Pub in The Wards, whether it’s to take part in a drinking game or just to complete the Planting A Bug mission in Act II. For whatever reason you find yourself in the pub, hack the PDA on the bar for the Audio Log.

The last two Iraq Audio Logs must be collected during the By Any Means Necessary mission in Act III. The first of these is in a trashed apartment. Look for a PDA to hear Iraq moan about the world today.

To acquire the next Audio Log you’ll have to rummage through another messy apartment. This one is found at the bottom of the lift that takes you up to the drug-packing room.
