The Audio Logs collection does earn you some rewards, in addition to a deeper insight in the world of Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs. Once you have four Audio Logs saved to Aiden’s phone you’ll unlock a new weapon: the D12. This gun belongs to the shotgun category and offers you powerful close combat shots. When you have 10 Audio Logs under your belt you’re rewarded with 500XP. Some of the Audio Logs listed here present themselves in numeric order, regardless of which location you hack it from, as with the ctOS towers and breaches Audio Logs. But others are location specific, Watch Dogs is just a bit complicated like that.
Previous: Watch Dogs Audio Log Locations Part 1
G1GGL3Z: 8
The hacker’s Audio Logs are collected as you unlock the first eight QR Codes.
Lucky Quinn: 8
4 of Lucky Quinn’s 8 Audio Logs are collected when you unlock the ctOS Breaches, the other 4 however are described for you below.
During the A Risky Bid mission in Act II you have to escape the auction house once you’ve spoken to Poppy. Don’t leave too fast otherwise you’ll miss the Audio Log! It’s at the bottom of the stairs that go up to the office.
Near the start of the A Risky Bid mission you’ll walk along a hall, step into the film studio on the left. You’ll spot a room to the right with a laptop and a few monitors in it, the laptop contains the Audio Log ready for you to hack.
If you can multitask, hack the camera behind Rushmore when listening in on Lucky’s conversation with Rushmore during Act IV mission No Turning back. The camera will enable you to peek into the closed meeting room, where you can gather Lucky Quinn’s next Audio Log.
The final Lucky Quinn Audio Log is located in his office. When you head there for the No Turning Back mission, hack the laptop on the table in the room next to his desk. The meeting room is indeed locked, but that shouldn’t be too much of a problem for you.
Malcolm Deodato: 8
As a Blume employee the Audio Log locations for Malcolm Deodato’s recordings are connected to ctOS. The first is found in the ctOS offices while you play the Act I mission Open Your World. The smartphone containing the Audio Log will be in a planter around the corner from your entrance to the lobby.
Make your way to the access point on the second floor of the ctOS offices, whether that’s physically or via security cameras, during the Open Your World mission. The Audio Log is stored on a phone in the same room as the access point, which may require a couple of laps around the guard’s patrol route if you’re using his security camera for vision.
The following Audio Log is situated in The Loop. Make your way to the Gorman Heights apartment building and you should find some sofas by the fire pit. Malcolm’s Audio Log is found on one of these sofas, all you have to do it hack it.
The mission Dressed in Peels, which you carry out at the end of Act I, contains two of Malcolm Deodato’s Audio Logs and cannot be revisited once you complete the mission. Make sure you collect the Audio Logs before finishing! The first Dressed in Peels Audio Log is available once you get the prison roster. Simply spin around and access the phone resting on the desk.
The second Dressed in Peels Audio Log makes its appearance after you’re reunited with your equipment. Just before you open the door towards freedom, namely the prison exterior, hack the phone on the desk behind you for the Audio Log.
While playing through the Hope Is a Sad Thing mission at the beginning of Act III you find yourself in an abandoned ctOS station in Pawnee. Once you access the northern half of the tunnel make your way to the end of the corridor, before blowing the chain-link door open. There is a laptop and phone ready to be hacked; both hold information you may find interesting.
Up in the second floor security office of the Blume campus, which is situated in Pawnee, you’ll be able to spot the Audio Log device and hack it. There is no rush to collect this Audio Log as you’ll come across the office in the The Future Is In Blume mission.
Taking a more casual approach, you’ll find the last Malcolm Deodato Audio Log by hacking a PDA on the Merlaut Hotel’s front desk in Mad Mile.
Maurice Vega: 8
At the beginning of Watch Dogs you hack Maurice’s phone and automatically obtain Maurice’s first Audio Log. The rest you do have to collect though and that’s done by completing the Burner Phones Investigation. Having problems? Check out Burner Phones Locations Guide here.
Serial ‘Fingerpaint’ Killer: 6
When you carry out the Missing Persons Investigation you’ll acquire an Audio Log by each of the victims you find. The device holding the Audio Log is normally a PDA.
Weapon Crates: 7
Although there are more Weapons Crates, 7 of them will contain Audio Logs for you to take away. Check the radios near the crates when searching for them.
Dedsec: 8 The second half of the QR Codes will uncover Dedsec Audio Logs.
