Enter The Wasteland
You’ll earn this one as soon as you step out of Vault 111 for the first time. It will mark the beginning of one seriously harrowing journey.

Will unlock as you play through the main story.

Complete “Institutionalized”
You will be given this mission when you finally reach the Institute. Just talk to every important person that Father tells you about and this will pop.

You will unlock this as you play through the main story.
Complete “Powering Up”
Will unlock as you play through the main story.
Complete “Nuclear Family”
Will unlock as you play through the main story.
Join the Minutemen
You will have the option to join the minutemen early in the game. Do so and you’ll earn this trophy/achievement.
Complete “Taking Independence”
Continue to do quests for Preston until you unlock this Minutemen quest.
Complete “Old Guns”
This is another Minutemen quest that you will only unlock after completing a few tasks for Preston.
Join the Brotherhood of Steel
You do this by heading to the Cambridge Police Station in the northwestern part of the map.
Complete “Blind Betrayal”
This trophy/achievement will pop after completing this Brotherhood of Steel mission, no matter which outcome occurs.
Complete “Ad Victoriam”
This trophy/achievement will pop after completing this Brotherhood of Steel mission. You will have to betray the Railroad so make an extra save file if you’re trying to get all achievements in one run.
Join the Railroad
You will be granted the title of Railroad Agent after completing the quest Tradecraft with Deacon. You’ll unlock this quest once you complete Road to Freedom, which tasks you with locating the Railroad.
Complete “Underground Undercover”
This mission requires you to progress the Institute section of the story, which has you working with Father. You will have to betray the Brotherhood of Steel, so make an extra save file if you want to get all trophies/achievements in one run.
Complete “Rockets’ Red Glare”
This quest will unlock as you progress with the Railroad faction. You will have to betray the Brotherhood of Steel at some point, so make an extra file just in case you want to try different options.
Complete “Sanctuary”
Will unlock as you progress through the main story.
Ally with Three Settlements
Simply clear out and establish three settlements. This one is easy and Preston will provide you with quite a few locations at the beginning of the game.
Reach Maximum Happiness in a Large Settlement
This one requires a bit of work. To make a settlement large, you have to send all of your companions to the same one. Sanctuary is probably best for this, since it starts with a handful of people already. To increase their happiness, make sure all their needs are met and even throw in some electricity and decorations. Check in often and you’ll have this trophy/achievement in no time.
Complete 10 Side Quests
Side Quests are any quests that aren’t part of the main quest line. You’ll come across a ton of these, especially if you’re doing the faction quests.
Complete 50 Misc. Objectives
Miscellaneous objectives are provided in a number of ways. Some can be overheard by standing near guards in any city, others are given by NPCs. They are all filed under one quest, so just complete any 50 of them.
Gather 1000 Resources Used For Crafting
Just pick up everything and it will pop up eventually.
Pick 50 Locks
It’s just as it reads. Keep in mind that it must be you who picks the locks. Having a companion do it does not count. There are a lot more than 50 locks in the game, so you should acquire this long before you’ve completed any of the quest lines.
Hack 50 Terminals
Same as the locks, except with computers.
Create 50 Weapon Mods
Weapon mods actually use up a lot of resources, so it’s better to acquire this one over time. Simply craft any 50 mods, something you’ll end up doing since you’ll always want the next best thing anyway. A lot of mods are locked behind specific perks and their levels, such as the Gun Nut perk and the Science Perk.
Craft 100 Items
Craft any 100 items at a chemistry or cooking station.
Recruit 5 Separate Companions
Each faction quest line offers a companion, and there are three that you get throughout the course of the main story. This isn’t counting some of the other individuals you can meet and recruit. Meeting them is not enough, even if you agree to let them be your companion. You must have them join you at least once for the trophy to pop. Reach Maximum Relationship Level with a Companion
It doesn’t have to be romance, they just have to really like you. Increasing your relationship level with companions is as easy as doing things they would do. For instance, Cait likes stealing things, so pick locks in front of her and she’ll grow to love you.
Build 100 Workshop Items
Workshop items are built for your settlements. These can be water pumps, food sources, defenses, and generators. Build any 100 and you’ll net yourself this Trophy/Achievement.
Play a Holotape Game
Scattered throughout Fallout 4 are Holotapes that parody real life games player might recognize. Start any one of these and you’ll net yourself a cool Trophy/Achievement.
Kill Five Giant Creatures
There aren’t many Giant Creatures in Fallout 4, so this one may prove to be a bit of a challenge. Here are the locations of five Giant Creatures for you to kill.
Discover 100 Locations
Unlock 100 locations on your map and this will pop. You don’t have to explore them, just get close enough so their icon gets filled in on your compass.
Read 20 Magazines
Magazines are scattered about the world. Check back for our guide on all their locations!
Placed A Grenade Or Mine While Pickpocketing
Just as it states, just remember to step away after doing the deed.
Kill 300 People
Just as it states.
