TOP 10 EXOTIC ARMOR IN DESTINY AND HOW TO USE THEM part 2

Destiny has been created with a heirachy of weapons and Armor that lets Exotic Items shine above all others as the most sought after objects in the game. The game already boasts a complex weapons system which consists of weapon types and archetypes as well as mods and weapon classes. As we've done before in our Top 10 Exotic weapons for destiny guide, we've scoured the net far and wide again but this time in search of the most effective exotic armor and we've put our research together into this top ten list! This should once and for all answer the question "What is the best armor in destiny?"

7. Mask of the Third Man - Unstable Current - Arc Blade attacks use less super energy.

Class: Hunter

This beauty is an exotic helmet that is specifically modeled for the bladedancer class. The helmet is designed to look like the skull of a Hive and boasts some pretty cool perks. The first of which will heal your guardian every time they pick up one of the orbs of light, which are dropped by players whilst performing a super attack. Another perk called Switchblade increases the speed of your melee attack, which is especially useful for this Class as it affects your throwing knives. The most significant perk allows the guardian to use less super energy when using the Arc blade super attack.

Most effective in:
 

This weapon is effective in many ways as it can potentially boost the damage for both PvE and PvP unlike many other items. This Helmet’s abilities can also be used in a variety of different ways depending on how the Arc Blade super attack is modified.

6. Young Ahamkara’s Spine - Ashes to Assets - Replenish Super energy when you kill an enemy with a grenade.

Class: Titan

Wow, what a great looking pair of Exotic gauntlets. It’s almost as if someone has grabbed hold of a dragon’s spine and made it into a fashion statement! This armor could get into our top ten list based on aesthetics alone to be quite honest but it also has some quite nifty abilities too. Not only does this weapon increase the speed of reloading your special weapons but it also refills your super ability bar every time you kill someone with a grenade. As if that wasn’t useful enough, this weapon can also increase the duration that the Hunter’s Gunslinger class Tripmine grenades can remain active for.
 

Most effective in:

One on One situations and fights. Use the tripmine boost to your advantage by laying traps for your enemies and drawing them towards your grenades with gunfire. This tactic can be so effective that over the course of a match it can cause other guardians to hesitate when approaching you. Which of course just gives you the opportunity to take advantage of their hesitation and shoot first!

5. The Armamentarium - Grenade Booster - Carry an additional grenade.

Class: Titan

This menacing looking chest piece is designed with titans in mind. The titan class is already primed to handle more damage than the other classes and this exotic armor piece aims to complete the class by giving it an armoury to match. The armor starts off by increasing the amount of ammo you can carry for each your special weapon and heavy weapon. This exotic also has a unique ability which provides two grenades for any subclass as well as a discipline boost which will reduce the overall cooldown of your grenades too.
 

Most effective in:
 

Boss battles or PVP. Even in the Raids. To be honest this armor just oozes effectiveness when you actually consider it in action. Whats more effective than flashbanging or grenading your enemies and then running in with the highest attack power and strongest melees in the game?
