Gaming news… actual gaming news and enthusiast content seems to be a rarity these days on this site, anyway. Well, as the pot stirs some ugly stew under the lid regarding corruption in games journalism, we can use the moments of calm to dabble in actual gaming news and media. So with that said, here’s a complete walkthrough of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare… all without the overlay of obnoxious commentary.

If you haven’t already purchased the game and you don’t trust reviewers worth the distance of your spitting capabilities, well there’s always the “Let’s Play” option. The only problem with that is you have to deal with some YouTubers who may have accepted a brand deal and only show off the good parts of the game. The last option is to just watch the game from start to finish to see if it fits your tastes; no commentary, no publishing deals to worry about, no middle-man crap. You just watch the game and see if you like it.

Alternatively, for those of you who already have the game but find yourself stuck or a bit jammed on a segment (though it seems a little unlikely given the linear and corridor-sized level designs that Call of Duty has become renown for) you can always refer to walkthrough guides like the one below to help you get through those difficult segments.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has seemingly picked up quite a bit of positive press for its take on revitalizing the series with new ways to engage and play the game, as well as the whole overhaul of the multiplayer with the introduction of the mechs and exosuits. It’s kind of like the game everyone thought Titanfall would be.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is available right now for home consoles and PC for $59.99. It’s not a game I would buy, but I do have to tip my hat to Sledgehammer Games for rolling out a game with a ton of content and potentially months’ worth of replayability. I can’t argue with that.
