The biggest gaming console of this generation is obviously the PlayStation 4. It mixes in a nice blend of stylish design with mid-tier power for sometimes consistent 1080p and 60fps gaming. With the holiday season practically underway, and the shopping sprees soon to start chugging along at full speed, it only makes sense to help some gamers find some of the best deals on the bundles, games and accessories for the PlayStation 4.

So first thing is first… the bundle deals.

The PlayStation 4 will be marked down this upcoming Black Friday for as low as $299.99, according to PlayStation Lifestyle. Over on Best Buy, the PS4’s Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection will be available for only $299.99 for the 500GB version.

Over on Amazon the Uncharted; Nathan Drake Collection carries a $349.99 price tag at the moment, equivalent to what was detailed in the original Amazon holiday gaming guide. Amazon does have some PS4 holiday deals listed, but they’re mostly all standard fare to what you would expect elsewhere. Of course, if you wanted a bit more storage space for your system and you wanted a decent first-person shooter to boot, there’s a PS4 1TB edition that comes bundled with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 that houses a special black and orange livery for $429.99. If you’re a serious fan of Call of Duty or you’re looking for a shooter game that really pushes the boundaries on high-concept art, it’s not a bad way to go.

If you’re not keen on the bundle deals, you can get the PS4 standalone from Amazon from third-party resellers for as cheap as $279.89. It’s worth checking out if you don’t want anything but the system by itself.

Now if you play games with friends or have family over often for local multiplayer sessions, you’ll likely need a second controller. The DualShock 4 wireless controller usually costs $59.99. However, Amazon has a brand new glacier white DualShock 4 marked down for only $50. Brand spanking new. Alternatively, there’s a used version of the controller for as low as $40. But it’s always scary going used because if they’ve been refurbished it sometimes increases the likelihood of them breaking again.

Getting new controllers are nice but oftentimes you’ll need to keep them charged. There are a number of PlayStation chargers available and one of the best is the PowerA DualShock 4 charger, which is a docking station for up to two controllers. It carries a somewhat hefty price of $39.99 but it’s also one of the highest rated and most reliable chargers available for the PlayStation 4. If you can’t foot the bill and the price is just too high for your budget, don’t sweat it… eStarland has you covered. The outlet has a dual charging dock for the PS4, brand new from dreamGear, for only $24.95. You can also get the same docking station used for only $12.00. Not a bad price, eh?

If you already have a controller and a charging station, perhaps you’re looking for a bit more entertainment value out of your hardware? If that’s the case then you can check out the PlayStation 4 Camera. The device allows users to have fun in front of the camera and even get drunk and naked in front of the whole world… ah, the power of live-streaming. The camera is available on Amazon for $44.95, discounted by 25% off the normal purchase price. You can also grab it used for as low as $17.99. Most other places charge $59.95 so that’s not a bad deal if you’re looking to get a recreational accessory for your PS4. If you’re also into the multimedia thing, there’s a PlayStation 4 Universal Media Remote that is fairly highly rated by customers, avialable for $29.99. It’s not much cheaper used and about the same price at most other outlets.

Now if you can’t get enough of your PS4 and love gaming on the go, there’s a rather expensive and yet cool device from Hori called the Full Monitor HD. It’s a novelty accessory for the PlayStation 4 that enables users to take their PS4 with them on the go and use a portable monitor to play games and stream content while on the go. It almost works similar to a laptop display. Hori’s HD monitor is officially licensed by the SCEA and it carries the hefty price tag of $299.99.

If you’re keen on playing a lot of MMOs online but you don’t like using voice-chat, there’s a pretty cool solution from Ortiz called the PS4 Wireless Mini Bluetooth Keyboard. The device is a mini-chatpad that allows gamers to use QWERTY buttons to chat it up during gameplay. It’s not a full-on keyboard solution but it’s a heck of a lot better than trying to navigate the in-game keypad with the analog sticks.

And speaking of analog sticks… there are the Kelux Thumb Grips. Gamers have been complaining about the weaksauce thumb grips on the DualShock 4 controllers ever since the PS4 first launched. The grips wear out really quickly and result in the rubber splitting atop the analog sticks. A way to preserve the thumbsticks and keep them from tearing up on the analogs, Kelux has their own patented designed grips to compensate for the wear and tear on a DualShock 4 controller. There’s a 10-pack that comes with different sized thumb grips for gamers with discerning tastes in their playing habits. The pack is pretty cheap and can be acquired for only $9.99.

Now as far as gaming is concerned, there are a number of games available on the PS4 for different tastes. Some of the more popular ones are below along with a few underrated gems.
