How To Level Up And Gain Skill Points In Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has quite a bit of content and secrets to uncover, and many players want to obtain these things as easily as possible. To do so, you will need to level up and gain skills for both Jacob and Evie. But you will need to earn quite a bit of skill points to unlock the equipment for both characters in order to help you explore the old streets of London, England.

With that said, the higher your level is with your characters, the much easier it will be to plow through difficult areas — that is if you want to collect certain or all items. So without further ado, let’s learn how to level those characters up.

Like in other games, you will obviously need Skill Points to level up, and just like in other RPGs you will start at the typical level 1 mark. To get to level 2 you will need to spend four skill points, with the higher levels requiring players to spend anywhere from 10 points to 18 points per level.

In addition to this, every 1,000 XP equals one skill point, so level 1, 2 and 3 all take four Skill Points. Going from level 3 to 4 will take eight, and going from level 4, 5, 6 to 7 will take 10 for each one. Leveling from 7, 8 and to 9 will take 15, and leveling from 9 to 10 will take 18 Skill Points.

Now that you know the algorithm of skill points to level, you’ll probably want to check and balance your current level. To do this, head on over to the bottom left of your HUD, which you should see the progress of your skill point bar (blue) on the right of your character’s health bar (white).

Something worth noting, both Jacob and Evie share XP and Skill Points. This means you will be able to level both characters up at the same time, which will cut down on the grind time. Looking over to some sad news though, there isn’t really a way to amass XP or level up in a short amount of time to become a master assassin, although you can take part in different Bounty Hunts. This means you can take up Child Liberation, Gang War, Templar Hunts and Gang Stronghold quests to help out.

You can check this video out that Gamerfuzion posted up showing the skill tree and how to level in AC Syndicate, as seen below.

Another thing worth noting, you want 100% on every memory and activity. You’ll receive XP for completing any quest, but you will earn more if you finish the different challenges along the way. So in other words, do what the game tells you to do with objectives and stuff, and you will earn more XP, which will get you more Skill Points to unlock different skills.

And that’s it, now you know everything there is to know about leveling up in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and upgrading your skills. While it’s not much of a cheat and nothing to exploit, it may help those who need a little nudge in the right direction for leveling up Jacob or Evie.
