How To Defeat The J-3 Golem Quickly In Warframe

For PC players this mission has been out for close to a month now, and for those that are on consoles it has been a couple of weeks. But, the J-3 Golem or the Jordas Golem has been plaguing many players with unspeakable hardships, especially those who haven’t trained their Arch-Wings and weapons up, or don’t do Arch-Wing missions much.

If you are looking to get the Atlas Warframe but have trouble trying to get him, then you can contribute part of that  hardship to the J-3 Golem boss. Although many complain that the boss is quite hard and that you need a team for it, you can actually solo the mission and rack Atlas parts up quite quickly.

I’ve beat the boss several times by myself, the first and second part, and you can be any Warframe or use any Arch-Wing that suits you best. The main objective to defeating this boss comes in the form of keeping up with it. I was falsely informed by a player who told me that if you stick around and kill the Mutalist Ospreys you could easily kill the J-3 Golem — that is not true.

First thing is first: ignore all of the Ospreys, they are the real threat that will kill you. The J-3 Golem can only proc certain status effects on you like electricity and fire, but it can’t actually dish-out real damage with its lasers like the Mutalist Ospreys.

The point of this boss is to keep you running to the Ospreys and from the boss, when in fact you have to always stay with it or ahead of it and shoot out its engines. Now, you don’t have to use the Itzal’s Blink ability, though it is very useful, but I was able to kill it with both the Odonata and the Odonata Prime.

So, this leads to the question, how do you kill it quickly? Well, using elemental damage like ice, toxin, magnetic, corrosive, and radiation works quite well. Now, I actually used both blast damage and viral to kill it, although they do not recommend that, but that is what I used. With that said, you can use what you find most useful against it; unless you find the elements above more handy.

Looking over to the weapons, any weapon will be good for it. I used the Imperator, Corvas, and the Velocitus to beat it in different runs. To further instruct on beating the J-3 Golem, you can check out this video below by TheFaitKO, which shows its mods, weapons and more.

Something worth noting, Corrosive Projection works quite well against this boss. The mod reduces its armor by 30% when maxed. But, I actually had Energy Siphon when fighting it, so again, what ever floats your boat should work best.
