Wastlanders can loosen up their enemies with the unique weapon Big Jim in Fallout 4. In this guide, folks will learn how to get the special wrench named Big Jim, and what all mods you can put on the unique weapon.
The Big Jim is a trusty tool and works just fine against human enemies in Fallout 4. If you are looking for this weapon, folks will need to go either south-east of Vault 111 or north-west of Diamond City to Walden Pond. As many already know Walden Pond is pretty big, but you will need to go to Walden Pond Gift Shop.
The building won’t be hard to find since it is the only building in that location. Go inside the dilapidated building and head to the door behind the counter, which has a master lock on it. Read the note that will tell you to go outside to the sewer to go inside the basement.
To get to the sewer, exit from the back door of the gift shop and walk to a pond of water with a concrete platform. Once you open the grate you will have to face some enemies down inside the basement, which will lead you to follow some lights on the ceiling to the Walden Pond basement room.
Go up the steps and head to a small desk with a tool box and JET on it, and there you will find Big Jim. Unlike other rare weapons that can take a really long time to get, this one proves to be really simple to obtain, especially if you like melee weapons.
Thanks to Camelworks, you can watch a video guide on how to get the Big Jim wrench, and how to mod the powerful melee weapon.
Looking at Big Jim unmodded , it has a base damage of 14, a speed of medium, a weight of two, and a value of 150 caps. It does come with a 20% chance to cripple an enemy’s leg, and can be modded with one slot being available. Folks will be able to change its standard head to being Hooked, Heavy, Puncturing, and Extra Heavy.
