If you are like me, you are in it to win it.
And by that, I don’t mean the actual game of LittleBigPlanet 3 but the unspoken contest of who can make Sackboy look the most gucci.
Hear me out.
In the past two installments we’ve had a first hand look at just how adorable a Sack can be. Every game so far has had massive in game content of costumes, stickers, and odd knick knacks to help personalize the game; however, the game might be most known for its abounding love of DLC. We’ve seen the likes of Assassin’s Creed, Final Fantasy, Marvel heroes, and Sonic the Hedgehog costumes made as purchasable additions for the little Sackboy and they were fantastic.
In LittleBigPlanet 3, one of the most fantastic features is that you can bring all your old costumes with you as long as you transfer your save.
But trust me, you won’t have any need for those old things. Check out all the brand new Costumes available from day one.
For those of you who were smart and pre-ordered for the Playstation 4, you are getting two special DLCs known as the Day 1 DLC. It features Dragon Age: Inquisition for those who pre-order digitally or from any retailer and also 4 The Players, a cute little pack starring characters from The Last of Us, Infamous: Second Son, Ucharted, and Fallout: New Vegas.
Sony is also offering launch DLC for LittleBigPlanet 3 depending on which retailer you shop at.
F0r those of you who will pick the game up from GameStop you will receive the Mythical Creatures DLC.
For those of you who opt for Best Buy, the Hidden Creatures DLC will no longer remain hidden
But if you really, really, REALLY want to get the full LittleBigPlanet 3 experience, order it from Amazon to receive a HUGE DLC pack offering characters from Sly Cooper, Journey, Ratchet & Clank and more.
The second you pop that disc in and get to work, you’ll be playing as the killer cuties. But wait! There’s more!
So you’ve got your release day DLC but you’ve still got a costume itch. Sure, your whole squad’s on point but is that ever really enough?
NO. Of course not. That’s why Sony is pumping out two more DLCs, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes & The Order:1886.
Metal Gear Solid is definitely on its way to LittleBigPlanet 3 slated to be made for purchase in November.
And as for The Order: 1886 it looks like you’ll have to wait just a bit longer, supposedly February, in order to time the DLC with the game’s delayed release.
There isn’t a price tag on these DLCs yet but what price wouldn’t you pay? If you ain’t about that SackBoy life, what are you about? Nothing.
LittleBigPlanet is a series that always finds new ways to make gaming fun and the endless customization and awesome costume packs in LittleBigPlanet 3 just take it to a whole another level. Keep your eye out, there are sure to be even more costumes on the way.
