Dragon Ball XenoVerse How to: Piccolo Mentor Quest Guide

Become Piccolo’s Apprentice

The closed-off misanthrope with a heart of gold wants to be your mentor! The first part of Piccolo’s mentor quest in Dragon Ball XenoVerse is much like others in that you simply need to prove your strength by beating the ever loving crap out of the beloved Dragon Ball Z hero. Once you finish this one out of seven stars battle, you’ll get Piccolo as your mentor and potentially some rewards!

• 800 zeni
• Small Mix Capsule
• Evil Explosion

That was easy, wasn’t it? Once you’re done, leave and level up to access Piccolo’s next mentor quest.

Burst! Evil Explosion!

A two out of seven stars battle awaits you with Piccolo’s next quest. He wants you to fight him again, but this time, finish him off with Evil Explosion. This is a move you received after the last quest. Completing this can potentially get you the following rewards:

• 950 zeni
• Small Mix Capsule
• Super Explosive Wave

After this ridiculously easy battle (mentors get very difficult), let’s move on to the third quest in Piccolo’s mentor line. This next one gets a bit harder, actually.

Attack of Three Piccolos!

The next thing Piccolo wants you to do is get him an All-Energy Capsule S. This can be bought at the item shop or you can mix an All-Energy Shard with a Small Mix Capsule at the Mix Shop. After getting the capsule to Piccolo, you’re able to do the next quest. This battle is the same difficulty rating as the last one, even though you’re fighting three Piccolos this time. Great! Do this in under five minutes and you have a chance at these rewards:

• 1,600 zeni
• Energy Capsule M
• Energy Shard
• All-Guard Shard
• Aura Shard
• Light Grenade

After this, you only have the final battle to complete Piccolo’s mentor quest line, congratulations!

Mastery

Piccolo’s final mentor battle is three out of seven stars as he’s one of the first mentors you can get. Absolutely nothing compared to the much harder mentors like Beerus or Goku. So don’t worry, you’ve got this. Just get his health down and use Light Grenade within five minutes and you’ll possibly net these rewards:

• 2,000 zeni
• I’ll Make You a Fine Demon!
• Energy Capsule L
• Energy Shard
• All-Guard Shard
• Aura Shard
• Special Beam Cannon

That’s it! If you so choose, you can spar with Piccolo after this and get a chance to receive the I Can’t Believe I Shielded the Brat z-soul. Other than that, you’re all set with Piccolo’s mentor quests in Dragon Ball XenoVerse. Feel free to redo them as you please for higher ratings and more of the rewards!
