Perform all stunt riding using Agro
Quick-stop: While galloping, pull back on the left stick and X simultaneously.
180: While galloping, pull back on the left stick and X simultaneously twice in a row to whip Agro around.
Quick-start: From a standstill, push forward on the left stick and X simultaneously to rear up and take off.
Pet Agro (dismounted): Put away any weapons and press O near one of Agro’s front quarters to pet her.
Pet Agro (mounted): Put away any weapons and press O while on Agro to pet her.
Successful Agro jump: Ride Agro off of a short cliff or other obstacle and she’ll leap and land safely.
Bailed Agro jump: Ride Agro off of a fairly tall cliff and she’ll leap but stumble and throw you upon landing. Agro will never willingly leap from a height that will kill her.
Saddle stand: Hold R1 and push forward on the left stick to stand up while riding Agro.
Hanging while riding: Hold R1, Triangle, and left or right on the left stick to hang off the side of Agro while riding. Make sure to do this on both the right and left sides.
If the trophy does not pop after all of the above, try leaping from Agro (press triangle) from sitting and standing positions.

Reached the top of the shrine
Ride around the back of the Shrine of Worship to find some greenery running up the wall. If you don’t eat any shining lizard tails, it takes four playthroughs to achieve the required stamina for this task. Unfortunately, the climbing exploit that allowed you to reach the top without first increasing your stamina no longer exists in this version of the game.

Acquire all items available in normal time attack
During any normal playthrough after the first, you can fight any of the 16 colossi in normal time attack mode by praying (press O) at the foot of the statues inside the Shrine of Worship. For every two that you defeat, Dormin will drop an item into the small pool at the back of the shrine. You can activate these items from the pause menu. Here is a list of the items and the order in which they unlock:
1. Whistling Arrow: Distracts colossi when shot
2. Cloak of Force: Increases your strength (stabbing power)
3. Mask of Strength: Increases your strength (stabbing power)
4. Lizard Detection Stone: Shows only nearby lizards on your map
5. Fruit Tree Map: Shows all fruit on your map
6. Mask of Power: Further increases your strength (stabbing power)
7. Cloak of Deception: Makes you invisible to a colossus
8. Flash Arrows: Explode on impact, dealing greater damage

Acquired all fruits in the world
Above: Click the image for a huge version of this map
There are 128 pieces of fruit scattered across the land that when eaten will increase your HP bar. There are also 48 pieces of fruit at the top of the Shrine of Worship that reduce your HP bar. Yep, you have to eat these too, all in a single playthrough. Getting to the top of the shrine requires max stamina, so save this trophy for the same playthrough you intend to get the “Climber” trophy. Use your bow to shoot fruit loose from tree braches.
We recommend that before you start hunting these down, you obtain the fruit map by defeating 10 colossi in normal time attack mode. Unlike the in-game lizard detection stone, all remaining fruit will be shown across the whole map. There may be several pieces of fruit per icon on your map, so if the icon hasn’t disappeared, that means there is at least one more piece hiding in the leaves.
Gold
Killed all shining lizards
There are 77 shining lizards around the forbidden land on each playthrough. Eating these lizard’s tails will increase your stamina. You can shoot the tails off of these lizards without killing them, but they won’t regrow their tails. Since the trophy requires the lizards be killed, don’t bother playing nice. Use your sword, trample them with Agro, or skewer them with arrows. Because there is always at least one lizard on or around each save point, we’ve overlaid the two maps.

Even with our map, we recommend first beating the game once to unlock time attack, then obtaining the in-game lizard detection stone by defeating 8 colossi in time attack mode. Even if this only reveals nearby lizards on your map, you can tell by their absence that you’ve already cleared an area. Also, a few of the spots on the map have multiple lizards (up to three), so if the spot doesn’t vanish after you kill the first lizard, continue searching the area. Remember, all 77 lizards must be killed in one playthrough for the trophy to pop.
Bronze
Hang onto the hawk for more than 30 seconds
We found a location where one hawk flies particularly low to the ground at top left corner of B5 (see video), but hawks will also sometimes fly over your head as you ride Agro. If you can time it just right, you can leap from your horse’s back and grab the bird. Not counting any lizard tails you may have eaten, you need to defeat about half of the colossi to have enough stamina for this task.
Gold
Acquire all items available in hard time attack
You can fight any of the 16 colossi in hard time attack mode by praying (press O) at the foot of the statues inside the Shrine of Worship during a hard playthrough. For every two that you defeat, Dormin will drop an item into the small pool at the back of the shrine. Here is a list of the items and the order in which they unlock:
1. Harpoon of Thunder: Long range spear that damages colossi
2. Sword of the Sun: Can reflect sunlight in the dark
3. Fruit Tree Map: Shows all fruit on your map
4. Shaman’s Cloak: Increases your defense
5. Lizard Detection Stone: Shows only nearby lizards on your map
6. Shaman’s Mask: Increases your defense
7. Cloth of Desperation: Can be used as a parachute
8. Queen’s Sword: The sword from Ico, which kills a colossus in one hit
Gold
Max out stamina bar
There are two ways to increase your stamina: defeating colossi (not including time attack) and eating white lizard tails. However, lizard tails only slightly increase your stamina, so relying solely on tails can be very time consuming. It’s easier to simply beat the game repeatedly by defeating all 16 colossi, since you get a nice boost to your stamina and HP with every victory.
Silver
Endure being sucked into the light for over 1 minute in the ending
You should have enough stamina by the end of the game to accomplish this task even if you haven’t been hunting lizards. Simply hang onto the steps in front of the pool for as long as you can by holding the grip button.
Bronze
Hang onto the fish for over 30 seconds
We found a small lake in the lower edge of C3 (see above). Simply swim near a fish and hold R1. Not counting any lizard tails you may have eaten, you need to defeat about half of the colossi to have enough stamina for this task.
Gold
Max out HP bar
There are two ways to increase your HP bar: defeating colossi (not including time attack) and eating fruit. Fruit helps quite a bit, and fortunately there is plenty of it around. Just check the branches of any tree you come across.
Silver
Save at all save points
Above: Click the image for a huge version of this map
There are a total of 25 save points in the game. See the map for the shrine locations. Note that one of the save points is at the foot of the Shrine of Worship, where you begin the game, and the final save point is just past the Broken Seal, which can be opened after defeating the 15th colossus.
Bronze
Defeat 1st Colossus
Simply leap onto the back of the left leg and stab the calf. The colossus will kneel, allowing you to climb up the leg, then up the back and onto the head, where you’ll find the weakness.
Bronze
Defeat 2nd Colossus
Get behind the colossus. Shoot an arrow at the bottom of one of the feet as it walks. Climb up the rear leg when the beast kneels, then head for the weak spots on its head and rear.
Bronze
Defeat 3rd Colossus
Lead the colossus around the arena until you can get it to smash its sword into the central stone platform. The shock will break the armor of the colossus. Now wait for the colossus to swing and hit dirt, then climb up the sword, up the arm, and onto the head. Stab this weak point until it disappears, then look for the final weak point on the stomach.
Bronze
Defeat 4th Colossus
Run to the furthest small hill and coax the colossus with arrows. Once it gets near, hop down and into the cave. Simply wait here while it stomps around. Eventually it will lower its head to investigate, and you can leap out of the cave and grab onto its - for lack of a better word - earrings. From here you can climb onto the top of its head and finish the beast off.
Bronze
Defeat 5th Colossus
Swim to the middle of the lake and hop onto one of the small square platforms. Fire an arrow at the colossus and it will fly straight for you. Simply jump and hold the grab button to hitch a ride. Its weak points are at the ends of its wings and the tip of its tail. Should you fall, look for another small square platform and repeat.
Bronze
Defeat 6th Colossus
As soon as the battle begins, run away from the colossus, climbing the barriers as you go. When you reach the back wall, wait for the head to lower and leap onto the beard. Climb up and stab the colossus in the head until the glyph disappears, then climb down to the left part of the monster’s back to find the second weakness.
Bronze
Defeat 7th Colossus
Swim around until the colossus heads to the surface to attack you. Dodge to the left or right and grab the tail when it surfaces. Hold on until you break the surface again, then make your way to the base of the first electric spike and quickly stab the beast to deactivate the spike. Repeat for the next two spikes, then move on to the head and finish the colossus off.
Bronze
Defeat 8th Colossus
Climb down to the third floor - you can stay higher if your health is enough to sustain the fall - and fire at the colossus from one of the barred windows. Then move around to where the floor is destroyed, and when the colossus is investigating your last location, shoot two of its legs. The colossus will fall to the ground. Leap down on top of its belly and stab. You’ll need to repeat this at least once.
Bronze
Defeat 9th Colossus
Draw the colossus out of its cave and onto one of the geysers. When the geyser erupts, the colossus will fall to one side. Shoot both of the exposed ankles, and the beast will roll over. Go around, climb its belly, and make your way to the head.
Bronze
Defeat 10th Colossus
Ride around on Agro until the colossus begins chasing you. At a full gallop, pull out your bow and hold L1 to more easily target the colossus. Shoot one of the eyes, and the beast will crash into the wall. Leap onto its back and stab the weak point. You’ll have to repeat this at least once.
Bronze
Defeat 11th Colossus
As soon as the battle begins run to one of the altars and climb it. The colossus will charge into the altar, knocking loose a wooden stick. Hop down, grab the stick, then climb the altar again. Press O to light the stick on fire. Because the colossus fears fire, you can use this stick to slowly force the beast off the edge of the cliff. The fall will break its armor, so jump down on top of the beast and stab away.
Bronze
Defeat 12th Colossus
Begin by swimming around to the back of the colossus. If you’re having trouble, go under the armpit. From the tail you can climb onto the beast’s head. Hit your sword against the external teeth in order to ‘steer’ the colossus towards one of the structures. When you’re close enough, leap to the top of the structure. The colossus should eventually climb the structure; use this opportunity to leap onto its belly and stab the weak point. You’ll have to repeat this process at least once.
Bronze
Defeat 13th Colossus
Bronze
Defeat 15th Colossus
Look for the raised tiles near the shortest section of wall. Wait here until the colossus slams his foot down. This will raise the tile and allow you to climb to the next level. From here, wait for the colossus to hit the columns with his knife. This will cause the ceiling above you to fall, granting access to the top of the wall. Move onto the bridge but don’t walk out too far because the beast will destroy the bridge with its knife. You can now jump onto the head. Stab the glyph until it disappears, then move down to the right elbow and stab again. The colossus will drop its knife, exposing the final weakness on its palm. Now fall to the ground; when the beast smashes its fist down, finish the job.
Bronze
Defeat 16th Colossus
Move from trench to trench, using the low walls as cover from the beast’s blasts when you’re on the surface. Climb the stone skirt surrounding the colossus and stab the beast in the back. When it brings its hand around, leap onto it. Climb the arm and stab the weak point on the left bicep. The beast will move its other hand to investigate - leap to it. From this hand, fire an arrow at the beast’s left shoulder. It will move its hand to the shoulder, which allows you to jump onto its shoulder and climb up to the head. Stab the glyph here to defeat the 16th colossus.
Silver
Clear the game in normal difficulty
After the credits roll at the end of your first playthrough, this trophy will pop.
Silver
Clear the game in hard difficulty
Once you beat the game on Normal and save when the credits are over, you’ll have the option to start a new game on Hard Mode from the main menu. Some of the colossi have new or different weaknesses in hard mode. Stamina, HP, and items do not transfer between normal and hard difficulty.
Platinum
Acquired all Trophies
