Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time Guide

Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time Guide

Unofficial Guide by Ratchet12345 for

Hi, I'm Ratchet12345, and this is my walkthrough for Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time. This is a step by step walkthrough for the story, as well as a Gold Bolts, Skill Points, Constructo Weapon Mods, RYNO V Holo-Plans and trophies guide.

This guide is useful if you're stuck on a level or challenge and don't know what to do, or if you can't find a hidden object. However, remember that this is a full, complete, start-to-finish walkthrough for the game. Therefore, you are bound to encounter spoilers as you read. You have been warned. Good luck out there!

Weapons

There are 18 weapons in this game - 14 normal weapons, 3 Constructo weapons
that can be modified with upgrades found across the galaxy, and one weapon that
is technically a gadget. All weapons (except that one item that isn't a weapon)
gain experience as you use them, and when the experience bar is full they
upgrade and gain a level, becoming more powerful as you upgrade them.

Weapons can be upgraded to Level 5 on your first playthrough and up to Level 10
on subsequent playthroughs in Challenge Mode, once you have purchased the level
6 version from a weapons vendor. All weapons at level 6 or greater have the
prefix Omega (which replaces the prefix Mega if the weapon has that prefix at
Level 5).

NOTE: If you have Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction game data, you'll get
a discount on any returning weapons tht first appeared in ToD. This applies to
normal weapons and their Omega counterparts.

Normal Weapons

Constructo Pistol                                      Available from beginning
Mega Constructo Pistol                                                     Free
The Constructo Pistol is your basic, entry level pistol. It'll get you through
the earlier levels, being a good close to medium range weapon, but after the
first few levels it becomes too weak to be of any use to you. However, it's
always useful against the really small enemies, even towards the end of the
game.
Mods:
Trigger:            Chamber:           Upgrade:            Paint:
Pull                Coil               Ricochet            Paint It (Custom)
Rapid Fire          Blast              Scorcher            Paladin
Charge              Beam               Impactor            Gunmetal
                                                           Rogue
                                                           Pacifier
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Constructo Bomb           Available from Zolar Forest, Planet Quantos, Vendor 1
Mega Constructo Bomb                                                1,000 Bolts
As the game's bomb glove, the Constructo Bomb is great for taking out groups of
enemies, or lone, powerful enemies such as mechs, at close range. You'll
probably use this one all thr way through, but less towards the end.
Mods:
Trigger:            Payload:           Upgrade:            Paint:
Contact             Explosive          Toxic               Paint It (Custom)
Proximity           Shockwave          Shrapnel            Mercenary
Timed               Skyburst           Barrage             Zoni
                                                           Gone Commando
                                                           Angela Special
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sonic Eruptor             Available from Zolar Forest, Planet Quantos, Vendor 2
Super Sonic Eruptor                                                 4,000 Bolts
The Sonic Eruptor is one of the more zany weapons you'll come across as you
play through the game. You carry around a living, breathing creature, which
when fired emits a louud mating call that damages enemies at close range.
There's a bar at the top of the screen when this weapon is equipped, and it's
best to fire the weapon when the bar is full for maximum damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mr. Zurkon                                       Available from Vorselon's Ship
Zurkon the Destroyer                4,000 Bolts Normally, 3000 Bolts Discounted
A mere device turned deadly weapon: Mr. Zurkon is your bestest buddy on the
battlefield. All you have to do is select him form the Quick Select and he'll
appear, flying around near you shooting at anything he sees. He's incredibly
useful, as he's practically a flying second auto-aiming gun. Not as powerful as
other weapons in your arsenal, but still a big help all the way through.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dynamo of Doom                        Available from Molonoth Fields, Torren IV
Dynamo of Devastation                                              16,000 Bolts
Tools of Destruction had the Tornado Launcher, A Crack in Time has the Dynamo
of Doom. Just like the Tornado Launcher, the Dynamo of Doom allows you to
control where the projectile goes by tilting the controller. To add to this,
you can charge the Dynamo of Doom before firing it, making it more powerful.
This weapon is best used against groups of enemies, small or large, as the
SIXAXIS control is a bit hard to adjust to.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tesla Spikes                        Available from Axiom City, Planet Terachnos
Storm Spikes                                                       19,000 Bolts
The Tesla Spikes are electric sticks that you trow on to the ground. Tesla
Spikes will shock enemies that wander near them, but this weapon is best used
in groups of 2 or more, as several Tesla Spikes near each other will work
together to shock enemies more frequently and in a greater range. Another good
weapon to throw about in an intense, crowded and grounded combat situation.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Plasma Striker                        Available from Krell Canyon, Planet Lumos
Plasma Slayer                                                      33,000 Bolts
The Plasma Striker is the sniper rifle of the game. However, this time the
weapon work a bit differently comparted to the sniper rifles found in previous
Ratchet and Clank games. When used in first person mode, you'll see red circles
on your enemies. These are weak spots. A hit here does far more damage than a
hit anywhere else on the enemy. Obviously, the weapon is best used from far
away, but don't dismiss it's ability up close if you can aim quickly.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Negotiator                                       Acquired at Agorian Battleplex
Judicator              Complete "Bros Before Foes" Challenge, Bronze Tournament
Point and shoot, folks, point and shoot. The Negotiator is the rocket launcher
of the game, and only requires the aforementioned 2 steps to be used, as the
rockets seek enemies that they have locked on to. The ammo count is a bit on
the low side, so use it wisely. The Judicator shoots 3 rockets in a shotgun
spread formation, but that won't change the way or the places where you use it
much.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CryoMine Glove                    Available from Tombli Outpost, Planet Zanifar
Blizzard Mine Glove                                                41,000 Bolts
The CryoMine Glove lets you throw mines on to the battlefield that freeze the
first enemy that comes near them. Who whudda thunk it? The time they're frozen
for depends on the size of the enemy and the level of the weapon, but when they
are frozen, you can just whip out another weapon and do as much damage as you
can before they unfreeze or die. This weapon is best used against smaller to
medium sized enemies if there's too many to deal with at once.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Groovitron Glove                              Available from Agorian Battleplex
Groovibomb Glove                 15,000 Bolts Normally, 11,000 Bolts Discounted
If you've played Tools of Destruction, you'll remember the Groovitron as one of
the funniest devices in the game, especially when you got the Golden Groovitron
and had an infinite supply of disco balls. As a weapon, the Groovitron Glove
works in much the same way as it did previously.
Once thrown, the Groovitron will cause any enemies in the vicinity to dance,
letting you do whatever you need to do in the meantime, but you don't have many
to use, so don't waste them if you'll need them later. The Groovibomb Glove
does the same thing, but explodes at the end of its life span. A great weapon
to distract enemies if you're surrounded, or if they're killing you faster than
you're killing them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Buzz Blades                                   Available from Vorselon's Warship
Doom Blades                      30,000 Bolts Normally, 24,000 Bolts Discounted
The Buzz Blades make for an awesome weapon that you'll use from the time that
you get it right up to the final boss. The weapon fires small shuriken-esque
blades that fly around the battlefield, ricocheting off walls, the ground and
enemies as they go. They may not seem harmful, but the blades pack a punch and
are useful against all types of enemies, including bosses.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Constructo Shotgun                            Available from Agorian Battleplex
Mega Constructo Shotgun   Complete "Double Jeopardy" Challenge, Gold Tournament
Chk-chk-boom! The Constructo Shotgun is a great weapon  for encounters with all
types of enemies at close range. Depending on the size and number of enemies
you wish to take down with the Constructo Shotgun, you may want to change the
Constructo Mods you have enabled (Double Spread for groups of smaller enemies,
more powerful, Choke for more powerful enemies). A good weapon for really close
quarters situations.
Mods:
Barrel:             Chamber:           Upgrade:            Paint:
Spread              Pellet             Galvanic            Paint It (Custom)
Double              Lance              Perforator          Praetorian
Choke               Slug               Detonator           Camouflage
                                                           Formal Fighter
                                                           Emerald Assassin
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mag-Net Launcher                Available from Valkyrie Citadel, Planet Vapedia
Mag-Net Cannon                   40,000 Bolts Normally, 37,000 Bolts Discounted
Returning from Tools of Destruction, the Mag-Net Cannon fires an electric net
that traps your enemies and shocks them until either they die or the Mag-Net
expires. A great weapon for flying enemies *cough* Valkyries *cough* and for
less powerful ground enemies, but not so good against bosses and a waste of
ammo when used on smaller enemies.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spiral of Death                                  Acquired at Agorian Battleplex
Spiral of Carnage Complete "Triumvirate of Terror" Challenge, Silver Tournament
Ah, the weapon that won the "My Blaster Runs Hot" weapon design challenge, a
worthy winner indeed. Kudos to Jackson Finley for creating this monstrosity!
This weapon fires a large blade, and then the blade returns to you boomerang
style. Great for close range encounters with bigger enemies once you learn how
to aim. The Spiral of Carnage fires 3 blades in a shotgun spread formation.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chimp-O-Matic                                    Acquired at Agorian Battleplex
Chimpositron               Complete "Overkill" Challenge, Raritanium Tournament
Almost every Ratchet and Clank game has had a weapon that allows you to morph
enemies in to different animals. We've had chickens, sheep, ducks, boars, cows,
pigs. Of course, it's only appropriate to move on to monkeys for this
installment. This weapon will turn enemies in to monkeys, but the bigger the
enemy is the longer it will take.
You'll continue to morph enemies no matter how much you move, unless to go to
far away from the enemy or you double jump. Once you get the weapon to Level 5,
the Chimpositron can lock on to and morph 2 enemies at once. This is best used
against smaller enemies, otherwise it takes too long to morph them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rift Inducer 5000                        Available from Nefarious Space Station
Rift Ripper 5000                                                   91,000 Bolts
Meet Fred: When you use the Rift Inducer 5000, a portal will appear in midair.
Fred the monster will partially appear out of the portal and eat away at nearby
enemies, before disappearing. He'll pick them up and eat them whole once their
health is gone. This is best used against smaller enemies, and drones as well.
Stand under Fred to lead enemies to him so he can feast on them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Time Bomb                                   Acquired at Great Clock, Sector Two
Can't be upgraded                                                          Free
The one weapon that really isn't a weapon. Timebombs, interestingly enough,
slow down time in the region they surround, affecting the movement speed of
everything inside them (except the player). Clank's past selves can also throw
time bombs if Clank threw one during recording, but remember that only one time
bomb can be thrown at a time, past selves included. Ratchet can use time bombs
as well, once you finish Valkyrie Citadel, Planet Vapedia.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RYNO V                                   Available from Nefarious Space Station
Mega RYNO V                                      All pieces of RYNO V Holo-Plan
Once you have all the RYNO V Holo-Plans, you can take them down to the Axiom
City Spaceport, where you'll find The Smuggler. He'll assemble the weapon for
you free of charge. This minigun/missile launcher cross breed spews out rockets
at an insane rate, making for instant carnage. Have fun!

3.2: Omega Weapons:

Omega Weapons are available from Challenge Mode. Once you upgrade a weapon to
Level 5, you can buy the Omega version, and from there you can upgrade it to
Level 10.
Omega Constructo Pistol                                            96,000 Bolts
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Omega Constructo Bomb                                             104,000 Bolts
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Omega Zurkon the Destroyer     196,000 Bolts Normally, 147,000 Bolts Discounted
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Omega Mag-Net Cannon           536,000 Bolts Normally, 402,000 Bolts Discounted
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Omega Spiral of Carnage                                           278,000 Bolts
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Omega Chimpositron                                                501,000 Bolts

Omega Rift Ripper 5000                                            499,000 Bolts
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Omega RYNO V                                                    1,000,000 Bolts
NOTE: Some prices may be incorrect, as I had a Tools of Destruction game save
and had to assume some of the non-discount prices. If a price is wrong, feel
free to tell me and I'll correct it.

Gadgets

Gadgets are useful little tools Ratchet can use in the game.

Omniwrench                                                Acquired at beginning
Ever since the first Ratchet and Clank have we learned to love the wrench. It's
the ultimate tool, used for raising bridges, opening doors and cracking skulls.
The wrench is also equipped with a kinetic tether, allowing Ratchet to
manipulate objects with the wrench.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Swingshot                                                 Acquired at beginning
Another blast from the past, the Swingshot allows Ratchet to latch on to
Swingshot targets and swing across gaps, or be transported.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OmniSoaker                               Acquired in Krell Canyon, Planet Lumos
The OmniSoaker is a device capable of extracting liquid from its source and
dispersing it elsewhere. This includes water and nectar, among other things.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hoverboots                               Acquired in Molonoth Fields, Torren IV
One of the most awesome gadgets of all time, these gravity defying boots allow
you to rush around at high speeds, to launch off ramps and to glide in the air.

easier. It also tells you what's still out there on each planet, moon and
galaxy in the galactic map.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Box Basher 2000                                  Acquired at Agorian Battleplex

over to him. Ka-ching!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nefarious Security Card                          Acquired at Agorian Battleplex
Complete "Bros Before Foes" Challenge, Bronze Tournament
This item allows you to enter a defence tower on Planet Zanifar.

This is the main section of the guide, a start-to-finish walkthrough that  encompasses the entire story. As I've stated numerous times up until now, spoilers aplenty await you, especially in this section. Help comes at a price, folks! Anyway, here's a few tips andpointers that are too general or broad to put in any other specific section:

General Tips

My Way or The Highway?

Of course not! The strategies listed here are not the only ones that work You may find a strategy that helps you more than what's written here, that may simply be better than what's written here. Feel free to send in strategies you find during your time in the game, your contribution will benefit thousands of players in the future!

Save Points

Every so often during game play, you'll reach a save point. If you quit and reload the game, you'll respawn at the last save point you reached. Save points are marked in the guide by [SP]. In a similar fashion, if you reload the save game, you'll spawn at the last save point you reached. There are also checkpoints, but these are not listed. If you die at any point during the game, you'll respawn at the last checkpoint/save point you reached.

Upgrades

As you may have figured out, weapons and maximum nanotech levels go nowhere but up during the course of the game. My weapon levels may be different to yours, as may my maximum nanotech levels and the weapons I have purchased. That's just the way it is, unfortunately, but if you follow the guide from start to finish, you probably have a smaller chance of encountering this problem.

Difficulty Settings

This walkthrough was written to accommodate for those playing through the game on Hard difficulty, but this only means that enemies have more health and their attacks do more damage than on easier difficulty settings. The rest is pretty much the same, regardless of the difficulty setting, so those playing on other difficulty levels can use this guide and reap the same rewards as one who is using the guide to get through the game on Hard difficulty.

Challenge Mode

Challenge Mode is available after you beat the final boss. It's essentially a replay of the game, but harder than the first time. This does not affect your Casual, Medium or Hard difficulty setting selection, and the transition can't be reversed. Each playthrough after the first is in Challenge Mode.

With this in mind, please note that the walkthrough works just as well in Challenge Mode as it does out without Challenge Mode, the game is just a bit tougher. Nothing new is introduced, what's already there is just beefed up a bit. To add to this, once you complete the game once, a new Hardcore difficulty setting is available, for new games and old game saves.

In Challenge Mode? Need Bolts Fast?

Here's a strategy from Sonic_Hero_007 and Laharl_666, extended by me:

1: Go to the Agorian Battleplex.
2: Go to the Gold Cup.
3: Do the battle against 100 enemies.
4: Keep doing it until you up your multiplier to 20.
5: Go to Krell Canyon, Planet Lumos/Gimlick Valley, Planet Morklon
6: Rush around on your Hoverboots smashing crates to get bolts.
7: Go to the place you didn't go to the first time.
8: Repeat step 6.
9: Repeat steps 5-8.

Keep Getting Killed by Random Ships in Space?

Then fly the hell past them and don't try to fight them. If you insist on destroying them for good, here's a tip from Marcus Hagins:

"There is an easy way to defeat the satellites in space without having to blow up X amount of ships. Basically, after you activate the satellite (shield pops up) just run away from the battle until it deactivates. Then, turn around and slowly approach the satellite until you hear your missiles lock on, at which point then you're free to fire and blow up the satellite.

This makes the Smuggler's missions easier. This can be done to all satellites except the one near vela gamma (its detection range was written right). For this glitch  If you retreat from the satellites they deactivate but their invincible status never comes back, and if you damage them a little bit, activating them in the process, you'll notice that amount of damage you did is missing."

I Hate Reading and Demand a Visual Representation of Whatever the Hell it is you Talk About in this Document!

Well, you're in luck, my friend, as this "deluxe" version of the walkthrough contains within it a complete video walkthrough, split up as you continue through the story. Just click the videos to play them!

Great Clock, Sector One

[ ] Escape Dr. Nefarious' clutches!

After the cutscene, run forwards. The ground below you will break, but you'll land on the platform below. Turn left, but watch out as some of the glass walkways will break, so avoid falling off the walkway. Run to the left and keep running until you see a green being telling you where to go. Go up the small ramp. Go through the air duct and out the other side.

[X] Escape Dr. Nefarious' clutches!
[ ] Complete optical calibration test.

Here, you'll have to calibrate the camera controls. Simply move the right analog stick in the direction you want to look at each of the ocular scanners until they turn green to complete the optical calibration test. Remember that there is a Camera Controls section in the Options menu if you wish to make changes to the camera settings.

[X] Complete optical calibration test.
[ ] Follow the Caretaker's instructions.

Continue forwards and you'll see a crash in front of you. There are two platforms that will lead you to the other side, but you'll need to jump over the gaps between them. Jump across the two platforms, turn right and jump across the next two platforms.

[SP] After you've entered the room, another crash will occur in front of you. The game will tell you how to give Clank a boost in midair. You'll have to use this technique to make your way across these platforms. Boost your way up each one, and then continue through the door.

There will be a big pile of boxes in front of you. Punch your way through them (punch them all for more bolts) and then continue forward. The Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler will enter and cause more havoc. Use the aforementioned boost technique to make your way across the gaps and to the higher platforms. The last gap requires you to use all three boosts available to you, so space the boosts out rather than using them all at once.

Once you're on the other side, continue forward. In this next room, two enemies will lurch forward at you. One punch will destroy them, so take them down quickly before they have a chance to attack you. Make your way forwards, jump on to the platform on your left, and then up to the platform there the caretaker is waiting for you.

Follow the caretaker in to the next room. Two enemies will be shooting at you,so take cover behind the piece of metal near the edge of the platform. The Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler will crash in to the roof, and time will slow down, so use this opportunity to make your way across the spinning platform to the other side.

Run through the door and turn right. Continue forward, but beware of the glass bridge breaking. Jump and boost over the gap, and then turn right and go through the door.

Three enemies will lurch at you, so punch them all. Continue forwards in to the next room. Wait for the Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler to show up, and he'll slow down time again, as well as place some small platforms in the gap you need to traverse. How convenient!

Jump and boost to the small platforms, and then jump and boost to the big blue platform. Quickly jump and boost to the next set of small platforms, and then to the last blue platform. The smaller platforms will disperse after a while, so be quick about it!

Go in to the next room, and walk up the stairs, on to the balcony.

[X] Follow the Caretaker's instructions.

Zolar Forest, Planet Quantos

[ ] Search Zolar Forest.

After the cutscenes, walk towards Qwark and follow his lead. Avoid walking in to the fire as it will hurt Ratchet. Qwark will eventually reach a bridge, and run away screaming. Use your wrench or your Constructo Pistol (equip it using the Quick Select menu, by holding Triangle and using the Left Analog Stick to navigate to the weapon's icon) to kill the Zyphoids. Jump across the platforms on the bridge until you reach the other side.

There will be more enemies here, so kill them off. Qwark can't die, so don't worry about him. Follow him to the water's edge, and notice the stack of boxes nearby. Walk up to the stack, and then run away. This will activate an explosive box and blow the boxes up without harming Ratchet.

Traverse the platforms past the aforementioned, and now absent stack of boxes, until you're on the other side. You'll notice a machine to your right - go over to it and press Square, and then move the analog stick left and right until the bridge is raised. Qwark will come over and clear a path for you.

[SP] After the cutscene, go up the stairs with Qwark. He can't clear the path, so you'll have to find another way around. There are some small rocky platforms floating in the blue area where time is frozen. Make your way across these and jump off the edge.

After the cutscene, you'll have some enemies do deal with. Shoot them until they die, being wary of the green goo they shoot at you (strafe to make avoiding this easier) and then shoot the miniature versions that appear afterwards.

After all the enemies are dead, focus your attention on the next series of platforms. Jump to the first one, and then to the second one. Activate the explosive crate and jump back to the first one. After the explosion, make your way to the other side and raise this bridge just as you did previously.

There's a nanotech crate here that you can break to replenish your health. You'll also notice that there is a weapons vendor here. Go over to it and press Triangle to shop for new weapons and stock up on ammo. The Constructo Bomb Glove is the only weapon available at the moment, and you should have enough bolts on you, so go ahead and purchase it (be sure to watch the previews too, comedy gold).

Qwark will break down another rocky barrier, and some enemies will run at you. Shoot them as they come down with your Constructo Pistol, or use the Constructo Bomb to kill groups of them at once. Nonetheless, continue along the path when enemies stop coming.

[X] Search Zolar Forest.
[ ] Locate the Missing Children.

After the cutscene, you'll have three Fongoid children to rescue. Well, at least we have something to do other than wondering around aimlessly! Start off with the child behind the mother. Go over to that area and kill all the enemies, and then go over to the child. Lead the child to their mother.

Turn left and go in to the watery area. Before you start to kill enemies (unless they become an immediate threat), notice the purple blob spewing out more enemies? Destroy that, and then kill any remaining small enemies. There will be some bigger enemies to take care of as well, so don't engage with them until you've cleared the vicinity of smaller enemies, otherwise they'll get in your way. Once all the enemies are dead, go to the child and lead them to their mother.

There is one more child left to find. Go up the nearby stairs and watch the cutscene. Notice the pattern - the platforms move every 3 seconds, so get on the first one when it reaches you, and then stay on it so it can take you to the next part.

Get off once the platform stops moving. Do the same for the next moving platform. On the part after the second moving platform, you'll find a Constructo Mod for your Constructo Pistol, the Blast Mod. Equip it if you want, and then continue.

For the next moving platforms bit, get on the first platform when it comes to you, wait for it to move, move on to the second moving platform, wait for that platform to move back to where it was before, and then get off it. Do the same for the next bunch of moving platforms to find the child on a lone island. Wow, if it wasn't for that bolt crank, getting this kid back would be a right bitch! Turn the bolt crank to extend the bridge, and then lead the last child back to their mother. After the cutscene, follow Qwark and the family.

[X] Rescue the Missing Children.
[ ] Escort the Fongoids home.

[SP] After the cutscene, continue to follow Qwark and the family. You'll encounter a whole bunch of enemies, a perfect opportunity for you to use the Constructo Bomb! Remember, there's a LOT of these guys, so don't let them sneak up on you, just let loose and fire away! It'll take quite a bit of shooting but eventually you'll have dealt with the lot.

Continue ahead to encounter another group of enemies. This time, there is an enemy spawner, so destroy it before you start to kill the enemies. Again, use the Constructo Bomb to take them down fast when they're clumped together in groups. Once they're all dead, the Fongoid leader will open a door for you. You can now enter the Fongoid Village.

[X] Escort the Fongoids home.

Go through the village,. There is a weapons vendor here, and Mr. Zurkon is available for purchase. Regardless, go to where the Fongoid leader is standing, near a door. Say "Yes, I can keep a secret" to have the leader open the door. Walk in to the tunnel to enter the Temple of Zahn.

[ ] Search the Temple of Zahn.

[SP] Once you're inside, your buddies will step on the three buttons to open the door for you. Walk through the opening. There will be two streams of fire rotating around in a loop. Simply run behind one and follow it when it's in the middle to make it safely across.

You'll now encounter some rotating wheels with rotating streams of fire on them. Simply jump on to the wheels and run around the flames (you'll be running in the opposite direction to that of the wheel's rotation, so don't stop running). Keep going until you've made it to the other side.

In front of you, there will be streams of fire, moving sort of like a snake. wait until the stream closest to you is on the left, and then run along the right side, being careful not to hit the fire. Now, there will be two streams of fire going in opposite directions in the same circle. Wait until they both pass you, go in to the middle of the circle, wait until they both pass again and then step out of the circle and on to the button. Go through and run up to the item to grab it.

[X] Search the Temple of Zahn.
[ ] Find the 3 Zoni necessary to repair Aphelion.

[SP] There will be a Zoni in this room for you to catch. Go up to it and swing your wrench at it to catch it. After the cutscene, you'll see a second Zoni escaping back towards where you came from. Follow it. With the first bunch of fire streams, wait until they meet in the middle, and then run through and jump right at the end so they don't hit you.

The next streams move really slowly, so just run past them. The next streams move at a moderate pace, so wait for them to pass, and then run past them. The streams on the wheels are now rotating much faster, so it's best to run in the same direction as the wheel is rotating and jump over the stream when it reaches you. Make your way across the wheels using this technique, and then proceed to catch the second Zoni.

[ ] Defend the Fongoids from Lord Vorselon!

After the cutscene, smash the two enemies with your wrench, and then proceed down the stairs. Take out your Constructo Pistol and take down the enemies. There's a lot of them but as long as you strafe and keep moving they won't pose much of a threat to you.

The floating troops move around quite a bit and can he hard to keep track of, so keep a bit of a distance so that Ratchet will lock on to them and track them for you. The ground troops advance on you really fast, so kill them before they reach you. After all the enemies are dead, follow the leader and he'll open a door for you.

[SP] Go up the stairs with the leader and turn right. Shoot all the troops advancing on you and continue along the path. There will be more floating enemies outside, so shoot them all down with your Constructo Pistol. After all the enemies in the vicinity are dead, a wave of small flying enemies will rush at you.

Take out your Constructo Bomb (if you have it) and fire a few bombs in to the back, and then shoot the rest down with your Constructo Pistol. A mech will now appear, so use the block  in the middle of the field as cover, strafing out to shoot and then back behind the block. Your Constructo Bomb will deal with the mech faster.

[X] Defend the Fongoids from Lord Vorselon!
[ ] Track down Vorselon's ship.

Continue to follow the leader once the mech has been destroyed. He will go in to another room, where the last Zoni in the level will be waiting for you. Collect it with your wrench.

[X] Find the 3 Zoni necessary to repair Aphelion.

Follow the leader. He will go up some stairs and activate a teleporter so you can get back to your ship. Go to your ship and the Zoni will repair it, and then get back in your ship and fly in to space.

Space

[X] Track down Vorselon's ship.
[ ] Defeat Vorselon's fighters.

See that big green thing in the distance? that's Vorselon's ship. Head towards it, and once you reach it, you'll encounter resistance in the form of enemy fighters. The ships will shoot at you, but you can shoot at their bullets to destroy them before they hit you. They will also drop pulse mines, which emit a pulse every 5 seconds or so that radiates from the mine, damaging your ship. Use R1 to fire your blasters and L1 to fire homing rockets. You need to kill off all 25 of the attack vessels to be able to land on Vorselon's ship.

Once all the ships have been destroyed, land on Vorselon's ship.

Vorselon's Ship

[X] Defeat Vorselon's fighters.
[ ] Infiltrate Vorselon's ship.

Once you're on the ship, head around to the thruster area. The thrusters go on and off every few seconds, so simply run across the first two gaps just after the thruster has turned off. Use your kinetic tether to bring down the bridge for the next one, and then run across when the thruster turns off.

Pull the next bridge down, and then pull out the versa-fuse on the wall of the next thruster to completely disable it. Go across the bridge and up the ionised surface with your gravity boots. Pull out the next versa-fuse to open the door, and then go on through.

[X] Infiltrate Vorselon's ship.
[ ] Locate the Detention Wing.

Some enemies will appear, so shoot them quickly before they reach you, or smash them with the wrench. You will encounter an ionised cylinder with lasers blocking your path. Go up and to the right, and then around the first set of lasers. Go back to the left and continue forwards to go through the next set.

The third set is rotating anti-clockwise, so wait for the path to be cleared and then run under the lasers. Turn the bolt crank to move the fourth set of lasers, and then continue forwards. An elevator will come down, but an enemy will be inside. Smash him with the wrench, and the elevator will go down.

[SP] Go forwards and turn right, and then continue along and turn left. There will be another enemy, so destroy him whilst his back is turned. Continue along the path and on to the ionised walkway. Walk along the ionised walkway, through the gap between the two lasers, and then pull the versa-fuse out.

Continue along, going around the vertical lasers (note that they are moving to the right every second) and jump over the horizontal laser when it reaches you. Continue along, waiting for the lasers to separate so you can go through the middle. At this point, you can simply jump off the ionised walkway on to the platform to your left.

After the cutscene, throw a bomb at the enemy to destroy it. Pull the versa-fuse out and continue forwards. A whole ton of small enemies will fly at you, so throw more bombs at them until you're fresh outta ammo (at which point you can go to the weapons vendor to get more ammo, and the Sonic Eruptor, which I highly advise because it's really effective here). More will come, so keep killing them until they stop coming.

At this point, drop down to the area below, killing any enemies that attempt to kill you down here, particularly the robots that spawn out of nowhere. Once the coast is clear, turn the bolt crank and proceed up the stairs. More enemies will have arrived, so continue to restock on ammo and keep blowing the crap out of anything that comes your way.

Go to the right side of this platform, and jump on to the pile of blue crates. Jump on to the big moving platform and then jump off, on to the other side. More robots await you here, but there's no weapons vendor, so be a bit more conservative with ammo. Throw out a Mr. Zurkon, and then take out the rest of the robots with the Sonic Eruptor. Once the door opens, destroy the robot inside and then go through the hallway.

[SP] Turn right at the end and swing your wrench at the glowing hexagon on the ground when you reach it. This is a RYNO V Holo-Plan, and once you collect all 10 of them you can obtain the RYNO V. Continue through the hallway and destroy the robot, jumping to avoid his electricity attack if he pulls that off, and then pull the versa-fuse out.

Continue  forwards and turn right when you see a door open. Pull the two versa-fuses out and keep going through this hallway until you see a bunch of small robots come form both sides of the hallway. Destroy them all with a bomb, your wrench or the Sonic Eruptor, and continue until you reach a set of lasers. Go under the middle of them once it's safe.

[SP] Pull out your Sonic Eruptor and blast these robots. Wait until the Sonic Eruptor has full lungs before firing for more damage. Once the coast is clear, turn the bolt crank to move the bridge. A tougher robot will begin to guard the bridge. Deploy Mr. Zurkon, and then walk up to the robot and blast him with the Sonic Eruptor until he's destroyed. Hopefully Mr. Zurkon will take care of any third parties sticking around to watch. Once all the enemies are dead, make your way on to the ionised walkway.

[SP] Pull the versa-fuse out, and then continue along the ionised walkway, avoiding the lasers. The each set of lasers moves faster than the previous set. Once you're past them all, enemies will appear. A bomb or the Sonic Eruptor should take care of them nicely. There's another single laser moving back and fourth across the walkway, so jump if it's going to hit you. Pull the versa-fuse out and go through the newly unblocked hallway.

Walk 180 degrees around the ionised cylinder (so Ratchet is upside down) to find a bolt crank. Turn the bolt crank to clear the path. Continue along the walkway. There are now two sets of lasers to get past, so find the opening on one of them and follow it, and when the two openings meet, go through them. Use the bolt crank to make an opening, and then once the rotating lasers go past, go through the opening.

Go in to the elevator, and once it arrives at its destination, get out and walk in to the next room. Stock up on ammo if you need to, and then walk to your right, in to the holding area. After the cutscene, pull the versa-fuse out to free the prisoners.

[X] Locate the Detention Wing
[ ] Help the prisoners escape!

[SP] Follow Qwark in to the next area. Take out your Sonic Eruptor and dish out some mating calls to destroy the robot hoard. Ammo boxes will explode as you use the Sonic Eruptor near them, so you'll be getting a constant supply of ammo for the weapon, making it really useful here. Continue along destroying the robots with the Sonic Eruptor until you reach a door. Qwark will kick the door down, so continue through the hallway and in to the next room.

There will be 2 versa-fuses in this room - one for the ship and one for a few boxes. Pull them both out if you wish, but get the one for the ship regardless. After the cutscene, make your way on to the ionised walkway and walk along it until you're upside down. Walk along the walkway extension and turn the bolt crank at the end to open the door so the ship can leave.

[SP] After the cutscene, leave via the door that you didn't enter the room through, and make your way back the way you came. A group of small enemies will attack you seconds later, so smash them with your wrench or destroy them with the Sonic Eruptor. Continue the journey back to your ship, and you'll encounter a robot near the second weapons vendor. Destroy him as well and move on. Get in the elevator and get out once it stops.

[SP] Now Lord Vorselon appears outta nowhere and wants to fight. Oh, it's on! Vorselon has two types of attacks for the first part: one where he lets a ton of blue orbs fly out and then hit the ground where a bunch of white targets appear, and another attack (the more dangerous one, I might add) where he shoots a whole stream of blue orbs at you. he orbs fired at you are spread so that the stream crosses your path. Keep strafing and facing him, and jump when the stream is going to hit you.

Throw out a Mr. Zurkon, and then switch back to your Sonic Eruptor and let loose until it's out of ammo. Then switch to your Constructo Bomb and bomb Vorselon until he turns invisible and moves away. Mr. Zurkon comes in handy here, as even though Vorselon in invisible, Mr. Zurkon still fires at him, so keep an eye on Mr. Zurkon to see where Vorselon will end up.

Eventually, Vorselon will introduce a third attack, where he emits a blue laser directly at you. Simply strafe away from it to avoid it completely. He'll tie this in with his other two attacks, and become invisible and move away more often. Remember to deploy another Mr. Zurkon when the one on the field gets destroyed.

Continue to fire upon Vorselon with all you've got. There are two ammo boxes on either side of the arena, so break them to replenish your supplies. There's no nanotech though, so injuries are permanent, for now at least. Continue to damage Vorselon until he finally dies... well, sorta. Anyway, your ship has moved to a nearby location, so get in and either head to the Vela Sector, or stick around in the Phylax sector for more work.

[ ] Jump to the Vela Sector.
( ) Explore the Moons.
( ) Seek out the Inhabitants for missions.

Space (2nd Visit)

There's a green ship marked with a yellow triangle on the map. Go over to it and press Triangle. Say "See if the Smuggler has any work", and then accept the offer. Now you'll have to destroy 20 ships in the area. They'll find you, and once they do, start destroying them. Remember that you can shoot the green projectiles they fire at you to destroy them, and that you can barrel roll using the right analog stick.

After you've destroyed 20 ships, you'll have to destroy the satellite in the area near the ship. Fire some rockets at it whilst firing your blaster at it to destroy it quickly. You'll get 1,000 bolts from the Smuggler. Go back to the ship and ask him to look at the schematics you found. He'll say that if you find them all, he'll build the RYNO V for you.

( ) Find the Complete RYNO V Holo-Plan.

Return to the Phylax Sector once you've collected 12 Zoni and have the Ship Tether. There's a white ship marked with a yellow triangle on the map. Go over to it and press Triangle. Offer to tow the ship

( ) Tow Terachnoid's ship to Phylax Depot.

After the cutscene, press Square to connect your kinetic tether to the ship. Fly to Phylax Depot and then press Square again to drop the ship off and earn another 1,000 bolts.

(X) Tow Terachnoid's ship to Phylax Depot.
(X) Seek out the Inhabitants for missions.

Unless you want to collect extra stuff, move on to the Vela Sector!

Phylax Depot

Use your galactic map to find the depot, and then land on it. There's a robot near the landing pad. Talk to him, and then say "Yes" to start a mission.

( ) Clean up Irradiated Asteroids.

Get back in your ship and fly over to where the green asteroids are. Simply shoot them with your blasters to destroy them, but don't fly in to the green gas the give off when the explode as this damages your ship. Destroy all 15 green asteroids to get 1,000 bolts.

Great Clock, Sector Two

[ ] Tour The Great Clock with Sigmund.
[ ] Travel with Sigmund to meet Orvus.

Follow Sigmund up the stairs and on to the balcony. Use the Meteor Pad to reach the next platform. Once the Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler has passed, glide over the gap to get to the other side. Ascend the elevated platforms using your boost ability, and then wait for Sigmund to open the door. Once he does, go inside.

Sigmund will now give you a tutorial on how to use time pads. After he's done yammering on, go to the blue pad and start recording, and then go to the button and stop recording. Now go to the green pad and start recording, and then go through the door. You'll get a bolt prize each time you complete a puzzle (200 bolts in this case).

Continue to follow Sigmund. You'll have another puzzle to do. Start recording on the blue pad, and go to the button. Stop recording, and then start recording on the green pad. Run past the first button to the new button that you now have access to. Stop recording. Now go to the blue pad and record over your past self.

Don't delete any recordings, just go to the blue pad and start recording. Step on the first button to let the green Clank get the second button, and then run through the door at the other end of the room. You'll get 300 bolts for solving that puzzle. Use the Meteor Pad outside to jump to the next platform, and then go through the door once Sigmund opens it. Run along the clear bridge to the Mnemonic Station, jump in, and press Triangle.

[X] Travel with Sigmund to meet Orvus.
[ ] Unlock Clank's Memory Banks.

[SP] You now have the Chronoscepter. It functions as a weapon in the same way as Ratchet's wrench, but it also has some other cool features we'll learn about as we go. Traverse the floating platforms until you're at the first station. You'll now have Time Bombs, and you can throw one by pressing R1. Throw one to slow down the wheel, and then jump on it and then to the second station.

Throw another time bomb to slow down the next wheel and jump on it, and then jump off, boost and throw another time bomb at the next wheel to slow it down, and then land on that wheel. Repeat this technique for the next wheel and then jump on to the next station.

Here, swing your Chronoscepter at the three broken objects to repair them. There are many similar items in The Great Clock that you can repair. Now, make your way across the floating platforms until you reach the next station. After the cutscene, there will be three miniature Qwarks to kill. Give them a good whacking with the Chronoscepter. Five more will come afterwards.

If you jump (boost if you wish) and press square twice, you'll do a powerful attack with the Chronoscepter similar to Ratchet's Hyper Strike. This is a good attack for groups of enemies, like the ones we have to kill right now. After they're all dead, seven more Qwarks will spawn. Do the aforementioned attack to deal with them quickly.

After you've laid the smack down, continue along the floating platforms. A spinning wheel will appear, so throw a time bomb so you can get over it. Once you arrive at the last station, you'll see a cutscene, and then you'll return to The Great Clock.

[X] Unlock Clank's Memory Banks.

Re-collect the Chronoscepter from the small case opposite you, and then follow Sigmund. [SP] Go through the door and you'll encounter some Teratropes! Simply whack them with your Chronoscepter to kill them, one hit kills them (throw a time bomb to slow them down, making it a whole lot easier). Keep following Sigmund and you'll reach your third time puzzle.

Start recording on the blue pad, jump on to the first wheel, and then throw a time bomb at the second wheel to slow it down. Stand on the button and then stop recording. Start recording on the green pad and follow the blue Clank. Once he steps on the button, more enemies will appear, so kill them, and then go through the door. You'll get 400 bolts for completing that puzzle.

Go outside and the Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler will make another appearance. Use time bombs and your boost ability to ascend the rotating wheels. Jump on to the platform where Sigmund is waiting for you to find your fourth time puzzle.

Start recording on the blue pad, step on the button, wait for 5 seconds, step on the button and stop recording. Start recording on the green pad and go to the elevator at the other end of the platform, and once it goes up, step off it.

Follow Sigmund in to the next room. This is your fifth time puzzle, and your final one for this sector of The Great Clock. Start recording on the blue pad, wait a second or two, and then step on the button to raise the elevator and stop recording. Start recording on the green pad and go on to the elevator, use a time bomb to slow the wheel down, and then make your way across to the button on the other side. Stand on it and stop recording.

Now start recording on the blue pad again. Once the green Clank is on the elevator, step on the button. Let him do his stuff whilst you traverse the rotating wheels on the ground level (don't throw any time bombs). Ascend the floating platforms and go through the door. Completing this puzzle nets you 500 bolts.

[ ] Destroy the Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler

[SP] Now you'll have to deal with the Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler once and for all. He may seem a tad large for Clank to deal with, but with a few time bombs, this battle becomes easy. Throughout the battle, throw time bombs at the Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler to slow him down. Keep them on him at all times, except when you've got other enemies to deal with later on.

Once he's slowed down, avoid his sonic attack and give him a good bashing with the Chronoscepter. Once he's down to 2 thirds of his original health, he'll deploy some Teratropes. Throw a time bomb at them, and then kill them all whilst they're in slow motion. Now throw time bombs at the Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler and hit him with the Chronoscepter some more.

Once he's down to one third of his original health, he'll spawn even more Teratropes than before. Use time bombs to slow them down and then kill them off (remember to jump and then press Square twice when they're in groups to deal with them faster). Once they're all dead, bash the Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler with the Chronoscepter until he explodes.

[X] Destroy the Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler
[X] Tour The Great Clock with Sigmund.

Vela Sector

[ ] Travel to Molonoth Fields, Torren IV

[SP] After the cutscene, you'll be in the Vela Sector. Travel to Molonoth Fields, Torren IV.

Molonoth Fields, Torren IV

[X] Travel to Molonoth Fields, Torren IV
[ ] Find directions to Volgram Pass

[SP] After you're out of your ship, walk forwards and then to your left. Jump on to the platform with the yellow lights on it, and then continue along the metal platforms. Use your kinetic tether to pull the platform towards you, and then jump on it. It will automatically rotate back to where it was.

Use your kinetic tether again, this time to lower the jump pad. Get on the jump pad and jump, and then talk to the Vullard on this platform. Pick the first option, and after he stops talking (or after you skip the speech), lower the jump pad you'll find here and jump on it to be thrown to the other side of this area.

[X] Find directions to Volgram Pass
[ ] Travel to the Hollow.

Some enemies will pop out of the ground, so use your Sonic Eruptor or your Constructo Pistol to kill them. Pull down the jump pad and then jump on it to reach a higher platform. Kill the enemy waiting at the front of the pipe, and the enemy at the other end of the pipe. He fires a slow projectile at you, so jump or strafe out of the way to avoid it. Go through the pipe and on to the metallic platform.

After the cutscene, continue along the rocky platform. You'll find a jump pad and another large object that you can rotate with your kinetic tether. Pull the jump pad down and stand on it. Rotate the large object, and then immediately use the jump pad to land on the platform on the large object, which will quickly rotate back to where it was before.

Move on to the next platform and step on to the Grind Rail when the fire stops. Jump over the electric obstacles, and you'll eventually be thrown to a distant area. Step forward, and after the cutscene, follow the Vullard. He'll step in to a room with a rogue Battery Bot. Pick up the Battery Bot by swinging your wrench at it, and then throw it at the red plug in the wall.

[X] Travel to the Hollow.
[ ] Help end Code 11-13.

[SP] After the cutscene, go to where the Vullard is standing. Jump on to the platform nearby when the fire stops, and continue along these platforms until you reach the top. Pull the jump pad down and then pick the Battery Bot up. Jump on the jump pad and throw the Battery Bot in to the plug.

Go back down to the ground, and go around the small isolated room to where another Vullard is standing. Go up the stairs, pick the Battery Bot up and throw it in to the plug to activate the bridge. Go over to the other side, and cross the narrow beam to your right. Pick up the Battery Bot on the other side and throw it at the plug.

Go back across the beam after the blades retract, and go back across the bridge. Go to where a group of Vullards are standing to find another Battery Bot. Pick it up and throw it at the plug to retract the compactors. Go through the machinery and pick up the Battery Bot here, and then throw it at the plug to activate the compactors.

[X] Help end Code 11-13.
[ ] Venture into Volgram Pass.

Go in to the isolated room mentioned earlier and after you see the compressor go down, step on to the conveyor belt. Go under the first compressor and then run up to the second one. Again, wait for the compressor to come down, and then go forwards and under the compressor once it goes up again. Jump over the streams of fire and on to the jump pad, and then jump to the next section.

[SP] Kill the enemies you'll find up here, and then make your way over to the next conveyor belt. Like before, wait until the compressors block your path, and then continue forwards once they re-open. Kill the enemy at the end of the conveyor belt and turn left. Step on to the conveyor belt, go up to the streams of fire, wait for them to deactivate and then run to the end.

A bunch of enemies will appear here, so throw a few bombs at them or use your Sonic Eruptor to take them down. There'll be quite a few enemies to take care of, but they won't all spawn at once, so don't worry. Once they're all dead, a cutscene will ensue. After the cutscene, you'll be on a Grind Rail.

[X] Venture into Volgram Pass.
[ ] Chase down Alister Azimuth.

Jump over the electrical hazards and the gap in the Grind Rail. Push the left stick to the left and press X when you see another Grind Rail to your left to jump to that rail. Repeat this technique when you see a rail to your right, but move the Left Analog Stick to the right instead of to the left. Jump over the gap and then jump to the rail on the left.

Jump over the next gap after the explosion creates a gap in the rail, and jump over the next gap, also created by a sudden explosion. Jump to the wooden rail to the left when you see a third explosion, and keep moving to the rail on the left before you hit the stream of fire at the end of each rail.

Rail jump twice to the right, and then once to the left. Jump over the electrical obstacles and then rail jump to the right. Rail jump to the left and jump over the yellow bombs Azimuth is dropping on to the rails. Rail jump to the right, jump over the electrical obstacle, and then rail jump to the left twice. Rail jump to the left once again from the construction girder, and eventually you'll reach the end of the Grind Rail and see a cutscene.

[X] Chase down Alister Azimuth.
[ ] Master the Hoverboots.

After the cutscene, you'll have to learn how to use the Hoverboots. Equip your hover boots by pressing Right on the D-Pad, and then go for a spin. Use the Left Analog Stick to move around, and R2 to go faster. Eventually, Azimuth will say he's set up a training course. Talk to him to begin the course. Watch the demonstration, and then begin the course.

Move forward on to the brown pad to get thrown in to the air. Land on the platform in front of you and accelerate off the ramp. Press Square to latch on to the bolt crank, use the Left Analog Stick to aim at the brown platform in front of you, and then press Square again to be launched forwards and then propelled in to the sky.

Land on the higher platform, and then accelerate off the ramp and kick off the kick pads by pressing X on impact. After the cutscene, accelerate at the brown platform and then hold X in midair to glide to where Azimuth is. When he asks, say "Sure, let's go!", unless you want to practice more.

[SP] Follow Azimuth, and after the cutscene, start the final course. Simply run over the flares to get them. Accelerate off the ramp, kick off all 3 kick pads, and accelerate off the next ramp. After you land, turn left and accelerate off the next ramp, kick off the kick pads and latch on to the bolt crank. Aim at the brown platform and let go off the bolt crank when the platform lowers itself.

Glide to the long platform in the distance, and then accelerate along it and then off the ramp. Accelerate off the next ramp and on to the Grind Rail. Ride the Grind Rail, collecting the final few flares, until you're flung back to the starting position.

[X] Master the Hoverboots.
[ ] Return to Aphelion.

[SP] After the cutscene, you'll have to return to your ship. There's a Zoni at the starting ramp of the course, and if you follow it, it will deviate from the course and lead you back to your ship. Catch the Zoni, and then set course for Axiom City, Planet Terachnos!

[X] Return to Aphelion.
[ ] Travel to Axiom City, Planet Terachnos.

Head towards Axiom City, Planet Terachnos. Once you reach the planet, you'll notice it has a barrier surrounding it. To get through, you'll have to hold R2 to use your Thrustmaster 500 to get through. If you haven't collected at least 6 Zoni at this point in the game, you'll have to find Zoni until you've got 6 Zoni to unlock the Thrustmaster 500. Once you're through the barrier, you can land on the planet.

Axiom City, Planet Terachnos

[X] Travel to Axiom City, Planet Terachnos.
[ ] Rendezvous at Neurox Plaza.

After you're out of your ship, go forwards and use the Swingshot to be pulled to the other side of the gap. A Zoni will fly away from you here. Pull the jump pad down and jump on it, and then land on the higher platform. Swing to the other side with the Swingshot, and then look to your right to see a ramp near a pink creature. Equip your Hoverboots and accelerate off the ramp.

Some robots will attack you on the other side. Your Constructo Bomb should be able to deal with these guys, as they'll all clump up in a group. Once they're all dead, there will be another robot shooting at you from the other side of a narrow path. Take out your Constructo Pistol and fire at him whilst strafing. Press X whilst strafing to flip. Use this technique to jump over the bullets whilst strafing.

After he's been taken care of, walk along the narrow path and you'll see more ramps. Accelerate along the path of ramps with your Hoverboots, jumping off each one. Once you land on the platform at the end, turn left. Use the taxi to return to your ship if you want, but otherwise ascend the platforms opposite the taxi. Swing across the gap with the Swingshot to arrive at the Axiom Space Port.

[SP] After the conversation, go to the other end of the room and use the boxes to get on top of the blue shelving unit. Equip your Hoverboots and jump off the next two ramps go make it over the barrier. Use your kinetic tether to pull the versa-fuse out, and then after the conversation, you'll have some enemies to deal with.

Initially, you'll want to throw out a Mr. Zurkon and then use your Constructo Bomb to kill the enemies, constantly moving around (backwards if you must) and keeping them at a distance until you're out of ammo. At this point, take out your Sonic Eruptor or Constructo Pistol to deal with the rest.

Don't let them get close to you, and watch out for the fire attack, where the enemies launch fire in to the air in an arc. It's easy to dodge, but only if you see it coming and have time to react. Once they're all dead, you'll have a transport tube activated for you. Did I just say "transport tube?" Never mind. Use the transport tube to go to your next destination.

[SP] After you're out of the transport tube (seriously, WTF?) walk forwards and restock on ammo using the ammo crates and the big crates. Keep moving forwards and you'll encounter more robotic resistance. Take out your Constructo Bomb again and unload on the 2 drones and come at your face, and then feel free to switch to another weapon if you wish to take down the bigger drone shooting fireballs at you.

Once he's down and out, continue forwards. Kill the lone enemy here and then go to your left. Equip your Hoverboots and make your way over the freight carriers with the ramps conveniently placed on top of them. Don't stop accelerating and jump off the end of each ramp.  You'll meet up with Azimuth at the end. Take out your Constructo Bomb again (throw out a Mr. Zurkon if you want to) and kill the three robot drones hassling Azimuth.

[X] Rendezvous at Neurox Plaza.
[ ] Bypass the Defence System.

A dropship will come along, so take out your Constructo Pistol and shoot the robots that are dropped. Remember to avoid their fire attack. Two more dropships will show up, and they'll drop the weaker, faster drones, so switch to your Constructo Bomb to take them down. More of them will come, so keep killing them.

Eventually, you'll see some really small enemies being dropped, so call for a Mr.  Zurkon and let him do the dirty work. A mech will spawn after they've been taken care of, so keep a Mr. Zurkon on the field at all times while you use your Constructo Bomb or Constructo Pistol to take out the mech.

More enemies will be dropped off, but if you stay well out of their range they'll attack Azimuth, leaving you to simply get closer and kill them. Use your Constructo Bomb or Sonic Eruptor to take out the weaker enemies, or once your Constructo Pistol is out of ammo.

After all the enemies have been dealt with, go off one of the ramps to meet up with Azimuth in another part of the Neurox Plaza. You'll be doing the same thing you just did, but with tougher enemies. Use your Constructo Pistol to deal with lone enemies and the bigger mechs, and use your Constructo Bomb and your Sonic Eruptor to deal with the other robotic drones that rush at you. Throw out a Mr. Zurkon to make things a bit faster.

Once all the enemies are dead, you'll have to go over to the computer and talk to Jarvis. After the conversation, equip your Hoverboots, accelerate and jump off the ramp. Run over the switch, and then go off the next ramp and kick off the 2 kick pads. Go past the ionised walkway and jump off the next ramp to hit the next button. Go off the next ramp and go to the right to find the next button.

Look to your left, and you'll see 2 ramps. Go off the left ramp to find the next button. Go off the next ramp and then go forwards to find the next 2 buttons. Then, go off the ramp you went off initially, and the next ramp, and then kick off the 2 kickpads and go to the last button. After the cutscene, walk up the ionised walkway and then follow Azimuth on to the boost ramp.

[X] Bypass the Defence System.
[ ] Infiltrate Pollyx Industries.

[SP] Take out your Constructo Bomb and start killing the robotic drones. This is a small room so this weapon works wonders here. Once the drones stop coming, the little tiny enemies will make a return, so just smash them with your wrench. Eventually, mechs will arrive, so deploy a Mr. Zurkon and either stick to your Constructo Pistol or switch to your Constructo Bomb or Sonic Eruptor, which ever one you're comfortable with, to kill the mechs.

Once they're dead, a door will open to the right there will be 2 flying drones, so deploy a Mr. Zurkon and use your Constructo Pistol to take them down. There will be another drone on the other side of the gap, so shoot him and remember to avoid his fire attack by strafing and flipping. More small enemies will come, but Azimuth will deal with them.

Use the Swingshot target to the left to make it to the next platform. Another flying drone will block your path, so take him out with whatever you've got, and then swing across the gap with the Swingshot. More robotic drones will appear, so use your Sonic Eruptor to deal with them before they reach you.

Go forwards and turn right to see 2 flying drones and a mech on the ground. You'll have to jump to avoid the mech's ground attack whilst strafing and flipping around to avoid the bullets from the flying drones. Deploy a Mr. Zurkon and use your Constructo Bomb to take down the mech, and then use whatever you have to take down the flying drones.

Now, go to where the mech was to find an even bigger mech blocking your path. Simply strafe and flip from left to right and back again to avoid his attacks, while you blow the crap out of him with all you've got. Once he's been destroyed, step on the button to disable the lasers and spawn a bridge.

Follow Azimuth to find even more robotic drones attacking you. Use the Sonic Eruptor to kill these 2. If you keep hitting them, they won't have a chance to attack. Move forward to see more enemies come at you from the gap. Use your Constructo Bomb to take them down, and then quickly turn around to see more guys coming from behind. Use your Sonic Eruptor on these guys as well.

Now, 2 ships will come up from the gap, drop enemies off, and then shoot rockets at you. Continue to use your Sonic Eruptor on the enemies, and then use your Constructo Pistol (and, if you have to, your Constructo Bomb) on the two ships. Strafe and flip to avoid the rockets. After they're shot down, a bridge will spawn. Go across with Azimuth.

[X] Infiltrate Pollyx Industries.
[ ] Destroy the VX-99

[SP] After the cutscene, you'll be up against 4 robotic drones. use your Sonic Eruptor or Constructo Bomb to take them down. Afterwards, 2 mechs will spawn. Use your Constructo Pistol to take them down. Now, the VX-99 with start attacking you with it's lasers. They will criss cross along the front of the platform, and then go diagonally across the platform, to each back corner. They'll and then go down the middle, and then down the middle diagonally.

Eventually, the VX-99 will make its way over to you, and Azimuth will shoot an ion cannon at the VX-99, spreading the ionised platforms on the base. Jump on to the ionised platform. Once you're on, and the walkway fold back up, run to the right, and keep running.

Lasers will be chasing you. Eventually, the lasers speed up, so when they catch up to you, quickly turn around, walk around the bottom of them and turn back around (rotate the Left Analog Stick clockwise 360 degrees just before they hit you), and do this each time they catch up to you.

When the lasers stop, go to the nearest bolt crank and turn it to make one of the tentacles fall off. One of the ionised platforms will also fall off as well (the one where the laser connecting it dies after you've turned the bolt crank) so you can't run around in circles any more. Move to a different platform if the one you're on is going to fall off. Run from end to end of the platform, walking and/or jumping around any laser that gets close to you.

The lasers and then start rotating clockwise, and then anti-clockwise, and it will keep switching until it stops firing the lasers altogether. Run away from the lasers when they come for you, and run around it if it gets to you. Once the direction changes, run away from it again and run around it again when it gets to you.

Eventually, you'll have to turn another bolt crank. Turn it to have the second tentacle fall off. Again, move off the ionised platform you're on if it's going to fall off. You'll now have a single laser chasing you. Simply run away from it, and when it catches up with you, turn around and run around it in the opposite direction. Don't go down the bottom to the bit sticking out, or you're screwed.

Like before, the lasers will start rotating again, switching between clockwise and anti-clockwise. Do what you did the first time to avoid the laser (still run to the left or right, away from the laser, at all times) and once it stops, turn the final bolt crank to be propelled to dry land. Use this brief moment of solitude to break these crates and replenish your health and ammo.

3 drones and a ship will be sent to take care of you. Use your Constructo Pistol to take care of these guys, just keep strafing and flipping to avoid their fire, but remember that the planter in the middle may block not only their shots, but yours as well, and you don't want to waste ammo. Switch to your Sonic Eruptor if you run out of ammo.

Once all the enemies are dead, Azimuth will arrive. Attach yourself to the Swingshot target on Azimuth's ship and he'll drop you off on the ring of the VX-99. Lasers will start rotating along the ground, so strafe and flip over them whilst shooting the 3 red things on the inner edge of the VX-99.

The lasers will change speed and direction constantly, so keep strafing and flipping until the lasers stop, and then you can stop and continue moving when the lasers start moving again. Once you've destroyed all 3 of the red things, the lasers will stop, and Azimuth will lay down a world of pain on the VX-99.

But, it's not over yet! You now have to battle the being itself! Pull out your Constructo Pistol and shoot the VX-99 whilst strafing and flipping around him to avoid his rockets. Once he's down to 2 thirds of his original health, the lasers will reappear, so keep an eye on the ground and only flip when you're going to be hit by a rocket or a laser.

Switch to your Constructo Bomb, and then your Sonic Eruptor should you run out of ammo for the weapon you're using. Once he's down to 1 third of his original health, he'll start to use a third attack. He'll create an electric field on either side of Ratchet, and move them in so Ratchet can't move. When they appear, move so you're not hit by them when they're moving, and then just shoot him, jumping when the lasers com around, and returning to strafing and flipping when the electricity disappears.

Keep shooting the VX-99, and once he finally dies, Azimuth will come around to pick you up. You've got 15 seconds to get off this bad boy before he takes you with you in the inferno, so quickly find Azimuth's ship and attach yourself to the Swingshot target again. After the cutscene, you'll be at your ship.

[X] Destroy the VX-99

Now you can either stick around the Vela Sector for extra work, or head off to the Korthos Sector!

Space - Vela

Go to the red ship near Vela Alpha. Talk to the ship, and you'll be asked to tow some warp drive components back to the ship. Accept the offer if you have the Ship Tether, as you'll need the Ship Tether to do this job.

( ) Collect Warp Drive Components.

There are 3 components behind the ship, near the edge of the sector. Simply pick them up with the tether and take them back to the ship to collect them. Do this for each component to complete the mission.

(X) Collect Warp Drive Components.

Make your way to Vela Depot. You'll be asked to tow a ship in. Accept the offer and go to the ship. It's stranded near Vela Tau. Talk to the ship and accept the offer if you have the Ship Tether, as you'll need the Ship Tether to do this job.

( ) Tow the Vullard Ship.

Attack your tether to the ship and make your way towards Vela Depot. On the way, you'll automatically drop the ship due to incoming enemy vessels. You'll have to destroy the 20 ships in the area before you can continue to tow the ship to Vela Depot. Fly around destroying the ships, and don't get destroyed yourself. Once they're all gone, resume towing the ship to Vela Depot. Drop the ship off at the Depot.

(X) Tow the Vullard Ship.

Vela Depot

Once you're out of your ship, talk to the Vullard. Accept his offer for work if you have the Harmonic Plating (or better plating) and the Ship Tether, as you'll need them to do this job. Get back in your ship and head for the comet (you'll find it soon enough).

( ) Retrieve Core Sample from Comet.

You'll need Harmonic Plating and the Ship Tether to do this job. Once you do find the comet, line up your ship so you're running along side it, just behind the core, and then make your way in to the comet's tail, so you're directly behind the core. Shoot the core with all you've got, and then once the Square icon comes up, press Square and get out of the comet's tail.

Great Clock, Sector Three

[ ] Follow Sigmund to the Orientation Room.

After the cutscene, follow Sigmund. Use your Boost ability to jump over the gaps, and then throw a time bomb to slow the wheel down. Jump on to the wheel and make your way to the next platform, and then turn right and go through the doorway. Once the next doorway opens, follow Sigmund to your first time puzzle in this sector.

Start recording on the blue pad, stand on the left button and stop recording. Then, start recording on the yellow pad, stand on the right button and stop recording. Finally, start recording on the green pad and go through the open door to complete the puzzle. You'll get 450 bolts. Follow Sigmund in to the Orientation room and watch the cutscene.

[X] Follow Sigmund to the Orientation Room.
[ ] Meet Orvus in Clank's Subconscious.

After the cutscene, enter the Mnemonic Station and press Triangle to meet up with Orvus.

[X] Meet Orvus in Clank's Subconscious.
[ ] Learn how to Repair Time.

[SP] Follow Orvus across the 3 floating platforms using your Boost ability. Once you're at the first station, stand on the icon and press Triangle. You'll be told hold to repair time anomalies. Use the Left Analog Stick to rotate the planet the Right Analog Stick to aim, and press R1 to fire. Fire at yellow, orange and red time anomalies, but not at blue ones, as they will break again, wasting time.

There are arrows on the screen showing you what direction time anomalies that you can't see are in. You've only got a minute, but it's really quick and simple so you shouldn't run out of time. After you're done, you'll be told about time anomalies that need more attention. Once Clank's in control, go for the red and orange anomalies before going for the others.

Again, you've only got a minute, but you won't need that long. After you're done, you'll get a third tutorial on Seekers. These things can re-break fixed anomalies. Destroy them at all costs. Once you're in control, destroy Seekers, and then red and orange anomalies, and then yellow anomalies. Once you're done, you'll get 300 bolts. Continue to follow Orvus.

Ascend the 3 floating platforms and use a time bomb to slow the wheel down, and then jump on to it. From there jump on to the next station. Here, you'll learn how to deflect projectiles with your Chronoscepter. When the turret fires at you, hit the bullet with your Chronoscepter to turn the turret upside down, disabling it. Jump on to the base of the aforementioned turret and deflect the next bullet. Repeat this for the next turret, and then move on to the next station.

A miniature Qwark will appear. He'll shoot at you, so deflect the bullet. More Qwarks will appear, and they'll fire at you one at a time. Deflect each bullet as it comes at you, no need to move or dodge anything. Even more Qwarks will appear after you've taken care of the existing ones, and they will also fire at you one at a time. Deflect all the bullets, and then follow Orvus over the 2 floating platforms. Deflect the bullet from the turret, and then hop on to it's base and go to the last station.

[X] Learn how to Repair Time.
[ ] Fix Time across The Universe!

[SP] After the cutscene, you'll be back in The Great Clock. Follow Sigmund through the doorway and jump over the gaps between the platforms, and then deflect the spit from the 2 floating enemies. Keep moving forwards after they're dead and go up to Planet Quantos. Stand on the icon and press Triangle to start fixing time on this planet.

There are 3 waves, each more hectic than the last. Just keep firing and aim at everything that isn't blue. Rotating the planet is faster than aiming the Chronoscepter, to you'll be using the Left Analog Stick more than the Right Analog Stick. Seekers, red and orange time anomalies are priority, so go for them first.

After you've completed all 3 waves, you'll get 400 bolts. Boost jump on to the floating gear platform, and then boost jump to the next time puzzle. First, start recording on the blue pad, step on the first button and stop recording. Then, start recording on the green pad, go to the pad in the left chamber and stop recording. Start recording on the yellow pad and step on the button in the right chamber, wait 5 seconds, and then step off and stop recording.

Go back to the blue pad and start recording. Step on the first button and wait until the green Clank is in, and then run over to the elevator lowered by the yellow Clank. Get on, and once it goes up, jump over the gap and on to the button, and then stop recording. Now go back to the yellow pad and start recording. Step on the button in the right chamber to lower the elevator for the blue Clank, and then once he gets on, step off and run for the door. Once it opens, go through and you'll collect 600 bolts.

Now that you're outside, you'll see a whole bunch of wheels in front of you. Make your way across them until you get to a really fast one. Throw a time bomb at it, and then stand on it, jump towards the next really fast wheel and throw another time bomb to slow it down, and land on it. Continue in this fashion, throwing a time bomb at each fast wheel before you land on it, and you'll eventually reach a platform.

Continue to the left and kill the 3 enemies here, and then turn right and deflect the 2 enemies' spit to kill them. Begin to fix time on Torren IV. Here, you'll learn about the Energise Power Up. If you see it, get it, unless there are higher priority targets in the vicinity.

As you did before, simply keep shooting and rotate the planet so that you're hitting everything that's not blue. Only stop shooting if you're going to hit a blue time anomaly. Hit all the smaller circular targets, they'll help you out a lot. Complete the 3 waves to get 600 bolts, and then make your way to the floating platform behind the planet.

Deflect the turret's bullet, and then jump and boost on to his base, and from there jump and boost on to the main platform. Make your way up the path and kill the 2 enemies, and then deflect the flying enemy's spit twice to kill him. Make your way over to the next time puzzle.

Start recording on the blue time pad, stand on the button and stop recording. Start recording on the green pad, and then jump and boost to the first moving platform when it appears. You'll have to anticipate where the platforms are going to be when you jump and boost towards them. You won't have much room for error, as even with 3 boosts you'll only just make it. Remember to fly at where the platforms are going to be when you land on them rather than where they are initially.

Once you reach the bottom, you'll get 400 bolts. Meet up with Sigmund and go through the door. Kill the 6 enemies on the ground, and then deflect the flying enemy's spit twice to kill him. Go through the door when it opens, and you'll encounter yet another time puzzle.

Start recording on the blue pad, wait for about 6 or 7 seconds, and then step on the nearby button and stop recording. Start recording on the green pad and run up to the elevator up the back that the blue Clank will activate. Get on, and once it goes up, step on the button with a wall behind it, and then step off it about 2 seconds later and stop recording.

Start recording on the yellow pad. Wait for the elevator closest to the front to come down, and when it does come down, get on. When it goes back up, jump and boost over to the platform and step on the left button for the door. Stop recording.

Start recording on the blue pad again. Step on the button on the front, and then go and wait with the yellow Clank. Get on the elevator with him, and follow him across to the higher platform, but step on the right button for the door instead of the left and stop recording.

Start recording on the green pad. Run to the elevator as usual, and then when it goes up, run to the button with the wall behind it. Once the 2 past selves are on, get off the button and run for the door. Throw a time bomb at the 2 enemies and kill them, and then when the door opens, go through to get 700 bolts.

[SP] Kill the 2 enemies on the ground in the next room, and then deflect the spit from the flying enemy twice to kill it. A lot more enemies will and then spawn, so take care of the ground enemies first, and then the flying ones. Once the door opens, walk forwards and then to the left.

Jump on to the first floating platform, and then jump and boost to the higher floating platform. Spread your boosts out, but don't spread them so thin that you aren't able to do the second or third one. As before, anticipate where the next platform is going to be. Repeat this for the next moving platform, and then jump to the bigger platform.

Go forwards and throw a time bomb at the wheel. Jump on the wheel and then to the next small platform. Stand back, as the turret will fire at the explosive crates. Once they explode, deflect the turret's bullet, and then make your way across to the last planet, Planet Terachnos.

There will be enemies waiting here. As before, kill all the ground enemies first, and then focus on the flying ones. Try to keep just one in view at a time and let the planet block the shots of the other ones. Once all the enemies are dead, proceed to fix time on planet Terachnos.

You'll be told about the Slow Time Power Up. Get it if you can, as it'll make things a lot easier. Nonetheless, once you start, simply go about it the way you did before, rotating the planet and shooting at everything that isn't blue. Again, red and orange time anomalies, as well as Seekers, are priority. Make the most of your powerups by using them on everything you can see, regardless of its priority level. Once you complete all 3 waves you'll get 800 bolts.

[X] Fix Time across The Universe!
[ ] Return to Sigmund.

Use the floating platforms behind the planet to make your way down to the bottom platform. They don't move, unlike the ones before, so it's nothing you haven't done before. Go in to the office, and after the cutscenes, you'll be in the Korthos Sector!

Korthos Sector -  Space

[ ] Travel to Krell Canyon, Planet Lumos.
[ ] Defeat Libra to Reach Lumos.

OK, there's a big ship in the way, and we can't leave until we destroy it. Some people are just plain rude. Anyway, chase the ship around hammering it with all you've got. You may get hit a few times, but barrel rolls are your best friend here, as using them properly makes you almost impossible to hit.

If you can, face the ship from the side, and then barrel roll in the direction it's heading, using the Left Analog Stick to adjust your aim. This is a really good technique for avoiding fire from the main ship, but the smaller ships around you can still hit you.

Once the big ship reaches 2 thirds of its original health, you'll have 10 normal ships to destroy, and the big ship will stop attacking and activate a shield. Now focus your attention on the smaller ships. These guys will also shoot at you, so be careful. It's best to just find a group of them and fire all you've got at them until they're destroyed, and then focus on another pack until you've shot down 10 of them. Some ships will stay, though.

Once again, try and get alongside the big ship and barrel roll alongside it, firing everything you have at it. Pull out of this if you're going to collide with the ship (do a U-Turn by pulling back on the Right Analog Stick) or if a whole ton of bullets are going to hit you.

Once the ship reaches 1 third of its original health, it will reactivate its shield, stop attacking you and call in 15 normal ships. Do what you did last time, and chase down packs of them at a time, shooting the crap out of them until they all explode. Watch out for missiles from other packs of ships, and change the pack you're focusing on if the one you're chasing has too many or too few ships to destroy.

Once the big ship deactivates its shield and resumes attacking you, fly over to it and barrel roll alongside it once again, hitting it with all your weapons. Don't screw up here though - if you're low on health, pull out and stay back, as you don't want to die and start the whole fight again. Eventually, the ship will lose all its health and explode.

[X] Defeat Libra to Reach Lumos.

[SP] Now that the ship is out of the way, fly to Planet Lumos. You'll get a distress call from Qwark, as he has been captured by the Agorians. Ignore it for now, just fly to Planet Lumos and we'll deal with that later.

[ ] Save Qwark from the Agorians.

Krell Canyon, Planet Lumos

[ ] Explore Odin Caves.

After you're out of your ship, head towards Azimuth by crossing the mine tracks and walking forwards until you reach a gap. Azimuth will throw a green light down in to the gap so you can see. Drop down in to the gap and turn the bolt crank to raise a bridge.

Once it's raised, go over to the blue Hydroplant, and stand on it. Jump whilst standing on it to be thrown up in to the air. Land on the elevated platform in front of you, and ascend the elevated platforms until you reach a second Hydroplant.

Stand on it and jump to be thrown up, and then land on the higher platform. Jump to hang from the pipe and shimmy to the left, and then jump to hang on to the higher part of the pipe. Keep jumping up the pipe until you return to where you were before. Follow Azimuth over the bridge. Keep following him until you see a cutscene.

After the cutscene, follow Azimuth. You can flee the Teramites at running speed, there's no need to equip the Hoverboots. Once you're at the creek, keep following Azimuth, and he'll go right at the fork in the road. Jump over the platforms with him until you reach a gap with some movable platforms floating in the middle.

Use your kinetic tether to move the platforms as far out as you can, and then jump to the one closest to you. Jump to the next one, and then quickly equip your Hoverboots, accelerate and immediately jump to the next platform. You'll see another Hydroplant. Use it to throw yourself up to the ledge on the adjacent wall, and then shimmy across to the right and press R2 when you're above the pipe.

Make sure you're facing to the left (press X to jump over to the other side of the pipe if you're facing to the right) and then shimmy across to where Azimuth is waiting for you. Press R2 when you're well and truly above the stream, and then meet up with Azimuth. Go off the jump with him, and then after the cutscene, go outside.

[X] Explore Odin Caves.
[ ] Destroy the Agorian Riders.

[SP] After the cutscene you'll have to follow Azimuth. If you haven't already, go to the armour vendor and buy the Ectoflux Armour. Then, accelerate down the ramp. After you land on the other side, you'll have 5 targets. Go to the weapons vendor and but the Plasma Striker, if you have enough bolts.

Start out by killing the rider in this general area. Try to aim at the actual rider rather than the animal he's riding on, this just speeds things up and saves you ammo, but feel free to take the animal down as well for some extra XP and bolts. Use your Plasma Striker and Constructo Pistol to take him down. Toss out a Mr. Zurkon if you wish.

Once he's dead, follow Azimuth to find the next rider. Use your Constructo Bomb
here to take care of the extra enemies, as well as the rider, and the animal if you wish. Keep moving and flipping to avoid the rider's attacks. Kill the other enemies before trying to kill the rider as well (although, when you use the Constructo Bomb, the splash damage takes care of everyone at once).

Once the second rider is dead, follow Azimuth again to find the third rider. Toss out a few Tesla Spikes, and a Mr. Zurkon, as there's a ton of enemies here to take care of. Take out your Sonic Eruptor and start killing enemies, until a black ship arrives in the air. Once it arrives, focus your firepower on it rather than the enemies. Use your Constructo Pistol to take it down, and then the third rider will arrive.

There will be other enemies to deal with, so plant more Tesla Spikes and call in Mr. Zurkon again if need be. Focus your attention on the rider, and use all you've got to kill him. You may be low on supplies, but don't leave until he's down and out.

Once he is, follow Azimuth to the fourth rider, or rather, the second ship you'll have to destroy before the rider will show up. My advice would be to go the weapons vendor you pass on the way there to buy more ammo, then go to fight the ship and the next 2 riders. Use your Constructo Pistol to destroy the ship, and your Sonic Eruptor or Constructo Bomb to kill the rider.

Follow Azimuth to find the last rider. As before, throw out some Tesla Spikes and deploy a Mr. Zurkon to take some of the heat while you focus on the rider. Don't stop flipping or moving to avoid being hit by the rider, and unload everything you've got in to him until he's dead.

[X] Destroy the Agorian Riders.
[ ] Hunt down the Hydra Tanks.

After the cutscene, you'll have automatically replenished your ammo supply. There are now 2 Hydra Tanks marked on your map. Go to the one in the top right hand corner of the map, the one situated where the third rider was killed. Throw out some Tesla Spikes and call in Mr. Zurkon. The Hydra Tank won't move much, so the Tesla Spikes will be quite effective. Throw more if the existing ones disappear.

The Hydra Tank will attack you in several ways. He will shoot fire at you, and the easiest way to avoid this is to strafe and flip around him in circles. He will also have flamethrowers that rotate along the ground. When he uses these, simply stand still and jump when the flamethrower gets to you. He'll change the direction of rotation, so keep vigilant. Keep your distance as well, getting in to close contact with the tank isn't smart.

Once the tank is down to 2 thirds of its original health, he'll activate a shield and 3 versa-fuses will appear. Pull one out to deactivate the shield  and to resume combat. Keep the Mr. Zurkons and Tesla Spikes coming, as these speed the battle up, hence reducing the chance of you dying. Keep hitting him with all you've got, circling him at all time and flipping over his flamethrower attack.

Once the tank is down to 2 thirds of its original health, he'll reactivate the shield and 2 versa-fuses will appear. Pull one out to deactivate the shield  and to resume combat. Throw out more Tesla Spikes, call in another Mr. Zurkon and keep the carnage coming. Even if you're down to using the Sonic Eruptor, having to get close to damage him, keep at it. Remember that there are ammo boxes around this area, but not many, so use what you get wisely.

Once the tank has no health left, he'll reactivate his shield and the last versa-fuse will appear. Pull it out to destroy the tank. One down, one to go. Restock on ammo at the weapons vendor, then go and take care of the final Hydra Tank.

This time, you'll have extra enemies to deal with. As you don't want to waste ammo on them, you'll have to keep moving all the time, away from the enemies coming at you. Kill them if you need to, but keep focused on the tank as much as possible. Keep the Tesla Spikes and the Mr. Zurkons coming, and follow the advice given when fighting the first Hydra Tank to come out victorious. Also, don't be afraid to leave the battle to get more ammo or health, it's worth the time in the long run.

[X] Hunt down the Hydra Tanks.
[ ] Eliminate Agorian Air Support.

After the cutscene, you'll be at the defence station. press Triangle to get in. You'll have to destroy 40 ships to end the attack altogether. Press R1 to fire your fusion turret. Hold L1 to lock on to targets, and release L1 to fire homing missiles at your targets.

Whilst you can lock on to multiple targets at once, when you release L1, you will only have lost one piece of ammo for the missiles, so make the most of them and lock on to multiple targets before releasing L1. Targets are not locked on to instantly either, so keep L1 held down for a while, then release once you've got a few targets.

Also, you can't shoot the enemy's shots, so if a bullet is coming for you, it will hit you. Just focus on the ships. Always draw your focus to the front and not the sides. Don't turn to the sides too much or you'll be ambushed from the front.

Remember that your machine gun can overheat if you use it for an extended period of time, so once you hear beeping and see the meter on the left go in to the red zone, stop until the meter goes back down to the bottom, then continue firing.

[X] Eliminate Agorian Air Support.
[ ] Explore Vogal Caves.

Once you've eliminated 40 ships, you'll see a cutscene. After the cutscene, swing across the gap with the Swingshot and another cutscene will ensue. After the cutscene, you'll be in the caves. You'll also have a new gadget, the OmniSoaker. This allows you to extract liquids from their sources, and disperse the liquid somewhere else.

Suck some water up from the stream and use it to water the Hydroplant, then use the Hydroplant to jump up to the next platform. Jump down, then extract some nectar from the creature opposite you. Shoot some nectar near the Teramite hive and then run past them while they feast.

Once you're past them, suck some more water up and water the next Hydroplant. Use the Hydroplant to jump up to the higher platform in front of you, then extract some more nectar. Cross the stream, then throw some nectar at the next Teramite hive. Run past them whilst they're distracted, and then you'll come to a dead end. Throw more nectar at the tentacles blocking your way, and then wait for the Teramites to tickle your passageway open.

Once the path is clear, extract some more nectar from the nearby creature and go on through. Shoot some more nectar to distract the Teramites. Don't shoot it on the path because then you'll be injured as you walk past them. Walk across the bridge, the shoot more nectar at the tentacles.

After the tentacles retract, continue forwards. Extract more nectar, then throw it just near the bolt crank below to distract the Teramites. Jump down there and turn the bolt crank, then, if you need to, shoot some more nectar to keep the Teramites busy while you go to the stream at the other end of this area, suck some water up and use it to grow the Hydroplant. Use the plant to get back up to where Azimuth is, and follow him up the stairs in to the Zoni Temple.

[X] Explore Vogal Caves.

After the cutscene, follow Azimuth through the newly created hole. He'll leave the planet, and so should you. Head for the Agorian Battleplex, we've got someone to rescue!

Agorian Battleplex

Once you're out of your ship, head forwards through the door and in to the elevator. Once you arrive on the higher floor, go forwards until you see a conversation. Choose the first option for the conversation, and you'll be told where to go to fight in the arena. Go there now to fight to save Qwark. There are also arcade machines in this hallway. This is where you'll find the My Blaster Runs Hot video game.

This next pages of this guide deal with completing the bronze, silver, gold and raritanium tournamnents.

Bronze Tournament

Welcoming Party
1,500 Bolts

The first wave is comprised of small, weak enemies - nothing a few Tesla Spikes and Mr. Zurkon can't handle. Toss them out and lure the enemies to your trap. The next wave is similar but features a larger type of enemy that can suck you towards him.

If one does suck you in, keep jumping and moving backwards to escape their grasp, or you'll get hit by their claws (the same thing will happen if you move close to them without being sucked in). It's best to start using other weapons now rather than luring enemies in to Tesla Spikes, but pay some out on the field to help you out nonetheless.

The third wave will also introduce an enemy. This time, it's a robot that shoots slow moving bullets at you. They're fairly easy to avoid, so just kill it like you would any other enemy. The fourth wave will introduce yet another enemy: a big orange brute that shoots an orange bullet at you when at long range, and tries to hit you at close range. Again, nothing too difficult, just keep killing them with whatever weapons you feel necessary. Personally, I found the Constructo Pistol quite useful due to its range.

The last round introduces an enemy as well. This time, it's a brute with a shield. Remove the shield with your kinetic tether, then kill the brute when you get the chance. There will be a lot of enemies in this round, so don't hesitate. Call in Mr. Zurkon and start killing all the enemies you can. Remember, if you're pushed in to the lava, you'll bounce back up. Land on the arena, as if you land back in the lava again you'll sink.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Armageddon Outta Here
2,000 Bolts, 1 Zoni

The first and seconds waves are comprised of drones and brutes, so use powerful weapons to take them down, ones you've upgraded a fair bit. The Constructo Pistol is, again, very useful here. Keep calling in Mr Zurkon to help as well. Stay away from the machines on the left and right sides of the arena, as their blades will hurt Ratchet. However, it is a good place to put Tesla Spikes as this is where enemies spawn.

After the second wave, blades will be shot diagonally across the arena. Go to the top or bottom of the arena to avoid these, then concentrate on killing more enemies. All the remaining waves are pretty much the same, except the blades go across the stage more frequently. If you see them coming, simply move out of their path to avoid them.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Return to Sender
2,500 Bolts, 1 Constructo Mod

This time, you'll be dropped in to the arena with nothing but your wrench. When the Agorian comes, you'll have to wait for him to throw a bomb, dodge it, then pick the bomb up with your wrench and throw it back at the Agorian. Do this for the first 3 Agorians, and then 2 Agorians will come down at once. The concept is still the same, dodge the bombs then pick one up and throw it at an Agorian.

If a bomb is going to explode, simply run away from it rather than picking it up and trying to throw it. The next 2 Agorians will have shields, so your first job is to remove them both, then focus on throwing the bombs back. After those 2 are dead, 3 more shielded Agorians will appear, so quickly remove all their shields upon their arrival. More Agorians will be dropped off in the mean time, but ignore them. Simply throw bombs back at 3 more Agorians to complete the challenge. The Mod you get will be the Shrapnel Upgrade for the Constructo Bomb.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Death From Above
3,000 Bolts, 1 Holo-Plan

In this challenge, there are 12 individual platforms making up the arena, and all are capable of sinking a any moment. To add to this, bombs are being hurled at you from Agorians that aren't on the arena. They are on floating platforms to the sides of the arena. You have to avoid sinking in to the lava whilst avoiding the bombs as well, and when you get the chance, throwing the bombs back at an Agorian to kill them.

The first wave will leave you with 3 Agorians to kill, on two different elevated platforms. Platforms will sink if you stand on them for a few seconds, so if they do sink, jump off them and on to another platform before you hit the lava. Pick bombs up as they stop rolling, then throw them back at the closest Agorian, or the one you're facing if you don't have time to turn around. once thrown back, they will only explode on impact, regardless of the timer.

Don't try to pick bombs up that are still moving, unless you use your Comet Strike. This is a really useful move to do, as you can keep your distance from the bombs whilst picking them up, and if they do explode, you drastically reduce the likelihood of Ratchet being hurt.

Also, watch out for the big, glowing yellow mines the Agorians throw at you. These cause nothing but trouble, as they can't be picked up, hence only serving to injure you. They are also quite hard to avoid due to their size, and in the later waves, as you can't look everywhere at once, they can sneak up on you from behind or from the sides.

Standing still isn't smart either, so never ever stop moving. Even when you pick a bomb up and are choosing a target, keep moving. Also, always look around. Never concentrate on one side for too long, as the other sides will take advantage of you inability to see the entire battlefield.

The second wave will have Agorians on 3 different elevated platforms, and the last wave will have you surrounded by Agorians on all 4 platforms. To ease the pain in the last 2 waves, throw a Groovitron at an elevated platform to keep them distracted while you throw bombs at them.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bros Before Foes
3,500 Bolts, Negotiator

This time, you'll team up with Captain Qwark for 3 waves of carnage. As per usual, deploy Mr. Zurkon, and toss a Groovitron in to the middle of the arena. Kill any dancing enemies, then eliminate any survivors. All three waves are essentially the same thing but with more powerful enemies each time, so just shoot the crap out of everything to win. As always, keep moving and flipping to avoid being hurt, and keep the Mr. Zurkons and Groovitrons coming to make it easier.

After the 3 waves of enemies have been wiped out, you'll face the War Grok. Qwark has abandoned you (typical...) so you're on your own. Once again, call in Mr. Zurkon, take out your powerful weapons and shoot the beast. The beast has 2 attacks, one where he claps at you, which can be avoided by flipping backwards before he claps, and another where he punches you, which is much harder to avoid, but if you flip as soon as the punching animation starts you should avoid it.

Once he's down to 2 thirds of his original health, he'll run off the arena and launch a whole bunch of small minions at you. Use your Sonic Eruptor to deal with them, but remember they do shoot at you, so dodge the green bullets. He'll resume his previous 2 attacks, and once he's down to 1 third of his original health, he'll launch more minions. The battle is more or less the same the whole time, save for the minions, so once you've got the basics down it's easy.

[X] Win the Bronze Tournament
[X] Save Qwark from the Agorians.
( ) Win the Silver Tournament

After you defeat the War Grok, a cutscene will ensue, after the cutscene, you'll have the Negotiator, the rocket launcher of the game, as well as a Nefarious Security Card. Now that you've got that, you can either stick around for more arena combat, or go back to your ship and head off to Planet Zanifar!

When you do fly to Planet Zanifar, you'll notice its surrounded by a forcefield made up of satellites and electricity. You'll need your Ship Tether to pull a versa fuse out of 2 neighbouring satellites to get through the forcefield and land on Planet Zanifar.

In case you want to stay, or want to return to the Agorian Battleplex at a later time, here are the other tournaments and their challenges.

Silver Tourament

This tournament is unlocked once you complete the Bronze Tournament.

Gone in 60 Seconds
4,000 Bolts, 1 Gold Bolt

In this challenge, you'll have to kill 60 enemies in 60 seconds. You'll want to stick to your Sonic Eruptor and Constructo Bomb for the smaller enemies, and your Negotiator for the drones. You simply need to kill things fast. Efficiency is key, don't waste any time running around. If an enemy's far away, kill them with a ranged weapon. Time spent in the Quick Select doesn't count, so use that time to think and plan if you want to.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fun With Fusion Turrets
4,500 Bolts, 1 Zoni

As soon as you start the challenge, get in the Fusion Turret. Here, you'll have to shoot down 50 Clusterbombs (the things the Agorians will be throwing at you) with the turret. First thing's first - don't kill the Agorians. It will waste time and deter you from the actual aim. The Agorians will be replaced anyway.

Second, only fire when you are aimed at a Clusterbomb. If you fire non-stop, your turret will overheat and you won't be able to fire for a few seconds. Also, keep an eye on the perimeter of the screen, around the turret. You won't be able to see too well around the edges, but it's the only place you can see some Clusterbombs coming from.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Art of Negotiation
5,000 Bolts, 1 Constructo Mod

Armed with only your Negotiator and your wrench, you must eliminate 4 waves of enemies. You do not have infinite ammo for your Negotiator, but you do have a lot of respawning ammo crates to help you out. There will be Agorians on the elevated platforms on the left and right sides of the arena in each wave, but leave them 'till last each time. You won't have to use your wrench either, you can use the Negotiator the whole way through. Just remember to keep getting ammo for your Negotiator by breaking the ammo boxes.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name Your Poison
5,500 Bolts, Box Basher 2000

In this challenge, you'll have to go through 4 waves of combat whilst being poisoned! Your health will diminish as you play, so it's more of a timed challenge than anything else. The first 2 waves are really easy, just use your Negotiator to kill all the enemies. In the 3rd wave, things get a little harder. There are far more enemies than the previous 2 waves, and no ammo boxes will spawn anymore.

Kill all the enemies with your leftover Negotiator ammo, and when you run out of ammo for that, use your Constructo Pistol to kill the enemies, leaving the Agorians for last. Once you only have the Agorians to defeat, quickly take their shields, then pick up the bombs they throw at you and throw them back to kill them.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Triumvirate of Terror
6,000 Bolts, Spiral of Death

In this battle, you'll be up against a Hydra Tank, tougher than the ones you faced in Krell Canyon, Planet Lumos. The tank has several attacks similar to the attacks executed by the previous tanks. The flamethrowers has been replaced with electricity.

The close range attack remains the same, but the ground attack has changed, as the electricity can change its spinning direction at any time now. As before, jump to avoid this attack. The tank will also run at you like a bull, but this is easy to anticipate and dodge.

To start, deploy Mr. Zurkon and keep them coming through out the battle. Do the same with Tesla Spikes. Take out your Negotiator and fire at the tank until you're out of ammo, then take out your Cryo-Mine Glove and throw 1 or 2 mines at the tank. Whilst it's frozen, take out your Plasma Striker, aim at a weak spot and fire until the tank starts attacking again, at which point you should throw another 1 or 2 mines at the tank and repeat.

During this time, the tank should reach 2 thirds of its original health, at which point it will activate a shield and show 3 versa-fuses on its side. Don't grab one yet, though, as it will send out a shockwave shortly after. Jump over the shockwave and then pull out a versa-fuse.

Continue to throw Cryo-Mines and shoot a weak spot with the Plasma Striker until you're out of ammo. At this point, deploy Mr. Zurkon, take out your Constructo Bomb and blow the crap out of the tank until he re-activates his shield when he reaches 1 third of his original health. Jump again to avoid the shockwave, and pull another versa-fuse out.

During the last stage of the battle, you'll probably run out of ammo for your Constructo Bomb, and at this point, Mr. Zurkon's presence becomes vital. Never have him off the field for long unless you're out of ammo for him. Regardless of whether this happens or not, hit the tank with all you've got, every weapon at your disposal should be used, in order of strength. Once the tanks health reaches zero, he will one again activate his shield. Pull out the last versa fuse to end the battle.

Gold Tournament

This tournament is unlocked once you complete the Silver Tournament.

Untouchable
6,500 Bolts, 1 Gold Bolt

As the title suggests, you'll have to complete this challenge without taking so much as a single hit. You'll be up against 5 waves of enemies, so it can be a bit daunting. The golden rule: never EVER stop moving when there are enemies on the field. You can't take any chances.

Keep your distance at all times as well. You need as much time as possible to avoid incoming fire. Moving backwards at all times (being careful not to fall in to the lava) and rotating to face enemies you want to eliminate is a good strategy here.

Use weapons with good range, and those with good power. Try not to focus on only one enemy at a time, the whole battlefield needs to be in view. You can walk around the edge of the arena in circles facing the inside to achieve this, and this is especially important in the final waves as there will be Agorians throwing Clusterbombs at you.

There are 2 ways to get rid of the enemies: you can use your powerful weapons at the start and then gradually move down the weapons chain as you proceed through the battle, or you can save your powerful weapons 'till last. Both strategies work, you've just got to go about it right.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Endangered Species
7,500 Bolts, 1 Zoni

In this challenge, you'll be up against Agorians for 3 minutes straight. The golden rule applies here too: do not stop moving, or you'll be killed by the Clusterbombs flying left, right and center. Don't try to kill the Agorians on the elevated platforms, they'll just come back. It's the ones that spawn on the arena that you'll want to kill.

When they do start coming, simply kill them with your Negotiator as they spawn. They won't pose a threat before a while, but eventually you'll run out of ammo and won't be able to keep up. Once that happens, you'll have to use other weapons to fend them off. Unlike the Agorians on the elevated platform, the ones on the arena will keep spawning almost indefinitely, so keep killing them. Mr. Zurkon and some Tesla Spikes in the middle of the arena do wonders.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Quick and the Dead
8,000 Bolts, Armour Magnitiser

Like the Gone in 60 Seconds challenge, this one requires you to kill a certain number of enemies in a specified amount of time. This time, it's 100 enemies in 120 seconds, and you'll be facing some Agorians towards the end. In this challenge, you need to focus on efficiency, killing enemies quickly and without wasting ammo.

Don't underestimate the power of your wrench. Even though you might lose half your health, use it in the initial stages to kill the weaker enemies, even the ones with claws. You'll save a lot of ammo for when you actually need it to kill the tougher enemies, especially the Agorians. Keep a Mr. Zurkon out at all times, and throw during the last minute.

With your weapons, once you stop using the wrench, that doesn't mean that you can't use it again. Pull it out if you've got a few small, weak/dying enemies near you, it'll actually benefit you. Start with your weaker weapons, leaving your Negotiator and Plasma Striker for last. Your Constructo Weapons should be the first ones you use. Never stop killing. If you need time to think, open
your Quick Select and chill out.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Agorian Roulette
8,500 Bolts, 1 Constructo Mod

Every 20 seconds during this challenge, your weapon will be switched at random. This removes a lot of the control you once had, but the challenge is by no means impossible. The good thing is that you don't need to worry about ammo, as there will be ammo boxes everywhere to refill your ammo. Your success will be somewhat dependant on the weapons you have and what levels they're at.

I can't provide any sort of in-depth strategy, it all depends on the weapons you have, but remember the basics and you should be fine. Always be on the move, don't stop firing, and remember that you always have your trusty wrench if you need it. You'll get the Galvanic Mod for your Constructo Shotgun (even though you don't have the actual gun yet).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Double Jeopardy
9,000 Bolts, Constructo Shotgun

This is a tag team battle between the War Grok and the Elite Hydra Tank. This will strain your ammo supply and test your survival skill, but so long as you follow the strategies mentioned in the individual boss fights this challenge will be passable. Every time a boss loses 1 third of it's health, it'll do what it did in the individual battle, and then it'll swap places with the other boss.

Raritanium Tournament

This tournament is unlocked once you complete Valkyrie Citadel, Planet Vapedia.

Fire Proof
5,000 Bolts, 1 Zoni

You'll be restricted to your Constructo Shotgun and your wrench as you prevent enemies from reaching the blue barrier. If 5 go through the barrier within 2 minutes, it's game over. Fortunately, this challenge is quite easy if you equip the Double Barrel and Lance Chamber Mods on the Constructo Shotgun. Once you've done that, just go up to the other end of the pathway and spawn camp the enemies. Simple!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Toxic Engagement
10,000 Bolts, 1 Holo-Plan

You'll be up against a War Grok, restricted to using your wrench, whilst losing health by the second. Sounds hard, right? It's not, really. A Nanotech crate re-spawns in the center of the arena approximately every 30 seconds, so if you see it there, break it open.

As for attacking the War Grok, your Comet Strike is your best friend. You do NOT want to go right up to it hitting it normally, as you'll be killed doing so for this long. Keep your distance and just keep throwing your wrench at him, dodging his attacks with the strategies mentioned in the walkthrough for your first encounter with the War Grok.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Exterminator
15,000 Bolts, 1 Constructo Mod

In this challenge, you'll have only your wrench and an OmniSoaker full of nectar, as well as a hive of Teramites. You have to use the Teramites to kill the enemies. It's clever, but tricky at the same time. As soon as you start, throw some nectar on the ground so the Teramites don't maul you - they're on nobody's side but their own.

Once you see some Agorians come down, throw some nectar on to them to have the Teramites rush over and eat them alive. You have to throw the nectar on to the enemy, not on the ground near it, or the Teramites won't do any damage. Also, don't let the Teramites walk near you, as they'll damage you as they walk past.

The second wave will yield some Agorians (with and without shields), as well as some smaller enemies. First and foremost, throw some honey around so the Teramites don't get you, and then kill the smaller enemies with your wrench. Pull the shields off the Agorians and throw some honey on to them to kill them.

The third wave is by far the most difficult, as you'll get smaller enemies, as well as Agorians with shields, and to top it all off, 2 mega-Agorians with blades on either arm. These guys are priority, so throw some honey on to both of them and wait for them to die. Meanwhile, kill the smaller enemies with your wrench, pull the shields off the normal sized Agorians and then throw some honey on them to finish the challenge.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Battery Bots on the Battlefield
20,000 Bolts, Treasure Mapper

This challenge will see you fight against countless enemies, whilst trying to throw 8 seperate Battery Bots in to a plug each. This can be tricky, especially with all the enemies around you, but so long as you keep your focus on getting the Battery Bots in to the plugs you won't run out of time or die.

As soon as the first Battery Bot is dropped on to the arena, you'll have 20 seconds to get him in to a plug. For each Battery Bot you get in to a plug, you get an extra 20 seconds. Battery Bots will drop once the one on the arena has been put in a plug, and they'll keep being dropped until all 8 have been dropped on to the arena. Simply pick them up with your wrench and throw them in to the nearest plug, as per usual.

As for the enemies, you'll want to kill some of them, but not all of them. Your Negotiator, your Constructo Bomb and your Mag-Net Launcher are the best choices as far as weapons go. As previously stated, go after the Battery Bots and not the enemies, unless they are constantly attacking you (this may become an issue in later stages of the challenge).

Here's a good tip from DiabloNeonX:

"If you're having trouble during this challenge, use the Groovitron Glove, as even the Battery Bots will stop and begin to dance, making them easier to find and the enemies easier to avoid."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overkill
25,000 Bolts, Chimp-O-Matic

This is it, the most difficult challenge in the entire game, the 20 round menace bound to test your skills in the arena... you'll want to get the RYNO V before hand, as it makes the challenge a cakewalk. Trust me, the time you invest in finding the Holo-Plans will be less than the time you invest trying the complete the challenge without the RYNO V. If you've completed the game or already have your trophies for completing the game on the different difficulty settings, feel free to change the difficulty to Casual just for this challenge.

The first 6 waves will consist of smaller enemies and droids, nothing you can't handle. From wave 7 onwards, Agorians will start spawning. This is where it starts to get tricky, but for now it's not too difficult. Things will actually get a bit difficult when you encounter the shielded Agorians who will throw bombs at you. These are very hard to see coming, let along dodge. If you see one of these guys, take their shield immediately, then kill them.

Wave 19 will be the War Grok. He's easy with the RYNO V, so just blast him with it. He'll throw some smaller enemies on to the field, but you can easily kill them with your wrench, let alone your RYNO V. Wave 20 will pit you against the Hydra Tank. Again, the RYNO V makes this terribly easy. The only attack you'll have to worry about is the shockwave emitted after the shield's activated. Once the Hydra Tank is down, you'll complete the challenge.

Tombli Outpost, Planet Zanifar

[ ] Travel to the Past.

Head forwards and kill the 2 enemies here, being careful not to kill the Pollen Plant if you're near it as it will damage you. Don't swing over the gap yet. Rather, pull out your Plasma Striker and aim for each droid's weak spot. It's a one hit kill, so once they're both dead, go over the gap, wit for the door to open, then go back over the other side.

2 more droids will appear, but they'll stay inside. Simply aim at their weak spots from a distance and shoot. Do the same for the mech - move so that you can see his weak spot and fire until you run out of ammo or he's dead. In either case, head over to the other side, finish the job if need be, then proceed inside.

There will be another enemy down the hall. Do as you did with the previous enemy, and wait outside the hallway to the side. Once the electric shockwaves stop coming, quickly go in front of the enemy with your plasma Striker, aim at the enemy's weak spot and fire for a one hit kill. Move forwards in to the next room, replenish your ammo supply and go out the next door. Buy the Groovitron Glove if you've got the cash, it'll be useful later on.

[ ] Deactivate the Containment Grid.

After the cutscene, stay here and snip as many droids as possible without straying very far from the door. You'll be able to get a few, but eventually they'll come up in front of you. Take out your Sonic Eruptor and kill anyone that gets close, then boost over to the left side of this area.

You may still have a few droids to deal with, but after they're gone, you'll have mechs to deal with. The key is to stay far away so they won't shoot at you, and use your Plasma Striker to take down all the enemies. Aim at the weak spots to conserve ammo, as you'll have quite a few targets. If you run out of ammo, call in Mr. Zurkon, and go up to the mechs, shooting at them with your Constructo Pistol.

Once the mechs are down, go through the newly opened passageway. Go down this path until you see cutscene. After the cutscene, go forwards to find a Zoni. Grab it, then pull out your OmniSoaker and suck some water up from the melted
snow nearby. Use it to water a Hydroplant near the edge of the cliff, then use it to jump and glide to the next platform. Water the next Hydroplant and do the same.

On the platform with the enemies, toss out a Groovitron and proceed to kill all the enemies with your wrench. Water the Hydroplant here, then use it to jump to that platform, landing on the elevated part of the platform in the middle to the Teramites can't get you.

Extract some nectar, then throw it somewhere on the lower part of the platform (away from the bolt crank) to distract the Teramites, then turn the bolt crank. Go across the bridge, throw some nectar at the tentacles and then stand in the water whilst the Teramites do their stuff.

Once the path is cleared, move forwards. Jump on to the vine to grind along it. Jump over the red spikes, and you'll eventually end up at a Hoverboot bolt crank. Press Square, rotate so you're facing the ramp, then press Square again to be launched off the ramp. Kick off the 6 kick pads and then glide to the first tower.

There are a few droids here, so deploy a Mr. Zurkon and use your Constructo Pistol to take them down fairly quickly. Glide to the distant jump pad, and once you're propelled in to the air, glide and land on the next jump pad. Glide to the next tower. There's a Zoni here, so grab him, then use the security scanner. You'll use the security card you got by winning the Bronze Tournament to gain entry.

3 drones will run at you, so use your Sonic Eruptor to take care of them. Toss a Groovitron if they're hitting you too much, so you can kill them without being attacked. Go inside and down the hallway to encounter a mech. Toss a Groovitron at him (if you have any spares), call in Mr. Zurkon, and shoot him yourself with your Constructo Pistol or Sonic Eruptor. Once he's destroyed, go in to the last room and deactivate the containment grid.

[X] Deactivate the Containment Grid.

[SP] Go out the door that just opened, and across the elevated walkway. Drop down to the area below and go up to the time portal. Step in to it to be taken back in time.

[ ] Explore the Fongoid village in the past.

Walk forwards, and then a bit to the left to find a Fongoid standing next to a wooden bridge. Speak to him, and have a conversation with him. Learn about how to plant seeds, then cross the bridge.

[ ] Planet the vine seeds.

There will be enemies on this side of the bridge, so use your Constructo Pistol and/or Sonic Eruptor to kill them all. Then, use your wrench to grab a purple seed and throw it in the nearby soil. A plant will start to grow. There are 2 beds of soil, so throw a seed in each one. Then, take one seed back across the bridge and plant it in the bed of soil near the Fongoid.

[X] Planet the vine seeds.

There's another Fongoid standing near a rusted bolt crank at this end of this area. Talk to him, and after your conversation with him you'll need to get oil to be able to turn the bolt crank.

[ ] Oil the crane's winch in the past.
[ ] Return to the present.

After you've talked to the Fongoid, go back to the time portal and step in it to be returned to the present.

[X] Return to the present.

Unfortunately, you'll have company. This is a perfect time to get acquainted with your Negotiator. Use it to take down as many of the drones as you can, then start to take down the mech. Go back to the weapons vendor to get more ammo if you have to, then go back and destroy the mech with your Negotiator. There will also be a blue ship, so take that down with your Negotiator as well.

Follow the Fongoids once you've cleared the area. Jump on to the Vine Rail (did u see wat I did thar?) and jump over the red spikes. Switch to the rail on the right, jump over the 4 spikes and switch to the rail on the right. Jump over the next 3 red spikes and you'll end up on a platform.

[SP] Take out your Negotiator, move forward and kill all the drones, then pull the versa-fuse out to release the Fongoid prisoners. Pull out your OmniSoaker and go up to the blob of oil. Extract some oil, then continue anti-clockwise around the path until you see the crane and a rusted bolt crank. Go over to the bolt crank, fire the OmniSoaker at it, then turn the bolt crank to lower the bridge.

Walk over the bridge, and after the cutscene, walk over to the time portal and
go through to the past again. Go over to the other side of this area to where the rusted bolt crank is, fire the OmniSoaker at it, then turn the bolt crank to lower the bridge.

[X] Oil the crane's winch in the past.

Go across the bridge and in to the room.

[ ] Infiltrate the Tombli Outpost.

Go through the door in front of you.

[X] Infiltrate the Tombli Outpost.

Take out your Negotiator and destroy the drones, then destroy the mech and the extra drones that are spawned. Continue to use your Negotiator, going back to the weapons vendor for more ammo when you need it. Simply go back and forth, using your Negotiator to kill the enemies and refilling your ammo. Once all the enemies are dead, go through the door and up the elevator.

After the cutscenes, you'll be at your ship. You'll see another cutscene in your ship, then you'll automatically leave the planet. Head to Vorselon's Ship once again.

Vorselon's Warship

[ ] Rescue General Azimuth.

After you're out of your ship, feel free to go to the weapons vendor and cash in your winnings on the Buzz Blades. These things are awesome, I highly advise purchasing them. After you've made your decision, move forward to the hangar door to find 2 droids waiting for you. Kill them with the Negotiator, then take out your new Buzz Blades and let 'er rip. They'll kill most of the smaller enemies up the back.

You'll face a seemingly never ending battle with respawning enemies here, but you've got a weapons vendor nearby so it's no biggie. The key here is to not only keep moving, but keep rotating, so you'll find any enemies that are sneaky and are creeping up behind you. It's best just to use powerful weapons until the ammo runs out, then go back to get more ammo and return to kill more enemies.

After a while, 2 mechs will come in to the room. Nothing your Negotiator or Plasma Striker can't handle with ease. Once they're down, go up the stairs and up to the 2 buttons in front of the door. Step on both of them to open the door.

Go through and you'll notice a bolt crank. You can actually ignore the enemies here and simply turn the bolt crank to move the Swingshot targets. Swing across the first one and step on the first button, and then swing across the next one to step on the second button.

Now use your OmniSoaker to extract some oil and swing back to the first button. Oil the rusty bolt crank, then turn around and kill the enemies (or jump as soon as one of them explodes automatically). Swing back to the second button, and then swing to the third button. Step on the last button, swing back again and go through the door. Step in to the elevator to be taken to a weapons vendor. Restock on ammo, you'll NEVER guess who's waiting for you...

Step in to the empty room, and after the cutscene, you'll be up against Lord Vorselon... again. He has some new attacks, including a spinning electrical attack that goes along the ground. You can avoid this by strafing backwards and flipping if the electricity is going to touch your feet.

Vorselon still fires blue balls at you, which you dodge in the same was as the first time by jumping over them if they reach you. Also, he has an attack where a bunch of targets appear on the ground, and seconds later electricity rains down upon the targets. This on is rather hard to dodge, but with the latest armour it doesn't do much damage.

Hit Vorselon with all your Negotiator rockets, and then shoot him with whatever you want. Once he reaches 2 thirds of his original health, he'll move around more often, becoming invisible when he does so and reappearing somewhere else to shoot at you some more. He'll also introduce a new attack where he sends some electric circles along the ground at you. The best way to avoid these is to keep flipping away until he stops.

Continue to damage Vorselon with all the weaponry you have. Needless to say, keep Mr. Zurkon on the field as much as possible, he'll help you out a bit, but the main source of damage will be coming from you. He'll take a lot, and I mean a LOT of firepower to take down, and it may seem like you'll never beat him, but simply keep hitting him and dodging his attacks, as there's really nothing else you can do.

Once he reaches 1 third of his original health, he'll change tact completely and begin to disappear, randomly, then reappear close by to attack you, as well as occasionally resorting to his previous attacks. You can still damage him if he's invisible and moving around the arena, so don't stop attacking just because he's invisible. Most of the time, however, he will actually disappear completely and respawn somewhere else rather than just move, so conserve your ammo when he does that.

The best way to make this attack easy to detect is to move to an edge of the arena and face towards the rest of the arena. He'll appear nowhere but in front of you. This is a great opportunity to use your Constructo Shotgun, as you can just blast him and advance on him, repeatedly shooting him until he disappears again. Some ammo boxes will appear, but you'll have to stretch your resources a tad to finish Vorselon off.

[SP] After the cutscene (what a rip off, am I right?), get back in the elevator and go up to the second story. Go forwards and through the door. For the first laser puzzle, walk through the lasers just before horizontal lasers merge in to each other. As for the second laser puzzle, as soon as the first laser goes up, run forwards under all the lasers.

The third puzzle is a bit tricky - you've got 2 horizontal lasers moving back and forth, and 3 vertical ones moving left and right. Wait for the horizontal ones to go to the middle, then run past the first vertical one. Wait for the horizontal ones to move back again, then jump over the one that comes back to you and run past the vertical laser. Jump over the final horizontal laser, being sure to avoid the vertical laser as well.

[SP] Continue forward and you'll find General Azimuth. Run up to him and you'll see a cutscene.

[ ] Free General Azimuth.

Turn the bolt crank under the containment cell to rotate the bridge so its facing to the left. Let go of the bolt crank, go across the bridge and up the ionised walkway. Pull out the versa-fuse to unblock your path, and then walk to the right and stop. Wait for 3 lasers to stop at the intersection, then once they all go back, turn left and on to the walkway, and then turn right at the next intersection.

Wait for the lasers to go past again, and then make your way up to the end of the walkway. Pull the versa-fuse out, then turn left and walk down the path that was originally blocked by a laser barrier, Jump over the lasers on the walkway if they're going to hit you, and then continue to make your way back on to normal ground and return to the bolt crank.

Turn the bolt crank to rotate the bridge another 90 degrees. Go across the bridge again and equip your Hoverboots. You may want to time your launch off the ramp, but remember that you can move to the left or right in midair with the Hoverboots. Navigate your way off each ramp until you reach the versa-fuse, then pull it out and use the Swingshot targets to get back across. Use the jump pads to get back up to where you were before, then return to the bolt crank.

Turn the bolt crank one last time to rotate the bridge another 90 degrees. Run back across the bridge and go through the door. Turn right and extract some ice, then turn around and go forwards to find some fiery platforms. Throw some ice on to them and then it's safe to walk on.

Do the same for each platform, then turn left and extract some oil. Turn around to find a rusty bolt crank. Throw some oil on to the bolt crank, then turn it. Turn left, pull out the versa-fuse, then return to Azimuth. Pull out the final versa-fuse to free Azimuth.

[X] Free General Azimuth
[ ] Escape Lord Vorselon's Ship

[SP] After the cutscene, go back to your ship with Azimuth. Follow him and you'll run in to 2 floating enemies. Use your Negotiator to kill the 2 enemies, then get in the elevator with Azimuth, then once you're on the ground floor, take out your Buzz Blades and shoot all the smaller enemies with them.

Some droids and mechs will enter the room, and you can either continue to use your Buzz Blades to kill them, or take out your Negotiator to deal with them. Nonetheless, once they're dead, continue to follow Azimuth and get in the elevator. Once you're on the second floor, swing back across the Swingshot targets and back to the hangar. After Azimuth tells you to, get in the Fusion Turret and defend him.

[X] Escape Lord Vorselon's Ship.
[ ] Defend General Azimuth.

This part may seem a bit difficult, but the Fusion Turret is your best bet, as dealing with these enemies using your normal weapons means a long, tiresome battle, and it's far easier to use the turret. Remember to keep using the rockets, and to lock on to a few enemies before firing them. Don't stop firing bullets unless the turret is going to overheat. There are explosives around the area which you can use to kill enemies quicker.

After you've dealt with the mechs and the droids, some blue dropships will appear. Take them down with the turret, and do it quickly before they drop enemies to kill any enemies inside the ships. There won't be many dropships, so after you've destroyed the few that come at you, exit the turret and go back to your ship and you'll see a cutscene.

[X] Rescue General Azimuth.
[X] Defend General Azimuth.

After the cutscene, get in your ship and leave Vorselon's Warship. You'll get a message from Azimuth about a lead in the Bernilius Sector. When you're ready, warp to the Bernilius Sector.

(X) Tow the Junk Hauler home.

Fly to the space craft near Korthos Delta. After the conversation, accept the ship's offer for work.

( ) Escort Ortax the Merciless.

Begin to tow the ship to the Agorian Battleplex. On the way there, you'll automatically drop the shop because there are 20 attack vessels headed your way. Destroy all 20 of them (even at this point in the game, it's still easy so long as you know the basics from the first space fight you had), and then pick the stranded ship up once again. Drop it off at the Agorian Battleplex to end the mission.

(X) Escort Ortax the Merciless.

Korthos Depot

After you exit your ship, speak to the Vullard and accept his offer for work.

( ) Return OmniGasket to Vullard.

Fly to Korthos Beta. Once you're out of your ship, pull the nearby versa-fuse out to deactivate the laser barrier surrounding you. Open the map and rotate to the other side of the moon to find a small isolated building. Go over to the building and fond the Battery Bot nearby, then throw him at the plug to open the door. Go inside to collect the OmniGasket, then fly back to Korthos Depot and speak to the Vullard to complete the mission.

(X) Return OmniGasket to Vullard.

Korthos Alpha

Once you're out of your ship, go forwards and speak to the Vullard. Accept his offer for work.

( ) Destroy the Holo-Boards.

Get back on your ship and return to space. If you look on your mini map, you'll notice 3 small pulsing dots. These dots represent the Holo-Boards. Simply fly up to them and shoot them a bit to destroy them, easy peasy. Once you've destroyed all 3, you'll complete the mission.

(X) Destroy the Holo-Boards.

Korthos Depot (2nd Visit)

Talk to the Vullard again. He'll ask you if you want some work, so accept the offer.

( ) Hide the Holo-Boards.

Get back on your ship and return to space. If you look on your mini map, you'll notice 3 small pulsing dots. These dots represent the Holo-Boards. Simply fly up to them, latch on to them with your Ship Tether and fly back do the depot. Drop the first Holo-Board off, and then go get the second one. Bring it back to the depot and drop it off to complete the mission.

Korthos Alpha (2nd Visit)

Talk to the Vullard again. He'll ask you if you want some work, so accept the offer.

( ) Set up the Holo-Boards.

Get back on your ship and return to space. If you look on your mini map, you'll notice 3 small pulsing dots. These dots represent the Holo-Boards. You'll have to pick them up, take them to the where the pulsing dot on the mini map is and drop them. Do this for all 3 Holo-Boards to complete the mission.

(X) Set up the Holo-Boards.

There's nothing else to do here, so head off to the Bernilius Sector!

Great Clock, Sector Four

[ ] Meet Sigmund at Mnemonic Station Iota

After the cutscene, walk forwards, up to the edge of the platform. When you see the first turret shoot at you, deflect it's shot and then jump on to the platform when it flips over. Remember, the turrets/platforms will be moving, so only jump from one to another just after you see them stop moving.

Deflect the next 2 turrets' bullets, then jump on to one of them and wait for it to go back up again. Jump on to the spinning split wheen in front of you, throw a time bomb at the next spinning split wheel and jump on to it. Glide to the next platform and go through the door when it opens.

You'll encounter a time puzzle. Start recording on the yellow pad, step on the button in the middle and stop recording. Start recording on the green pad, step on the button in the chamber that Yellow Clank opened and stop recording. Start recording on the red pad. Step on the button on the right, wait for a second or 2, step off it and stop recording.

Start recording on the blue pad. Step on the platform in front of you that's lowered by the red Clank, and once it goes up, stand on the button and stop recording. Start recording on the yellow pad again. Let the green Clank in to the chamber, and then go over to the platform in the back right hand corner of the lower area, the one that's raised by blue Clank. Jump on to the button, stand there for 6 or 7 seconds, glide to and stand on the next button, and then stop recording.

Start recording on the blue pad again. Go back up to the first button that blue Clank stands on and let yellow Clank up, and then jump and glide to the platform he raises for you. Jump to the next platform, stand on the button and stop recording.

Finally, start recording on the red pad. Let blue Clank up, and then go over to the platform in the back left hand corner that yellow Clank will raise. Once it goes up, go over to the doorway and go through once it opens. You'll get 3,000 bolts for completing that challlenge.

Go forwards and use the Meteor pad, and you'll land on a platform with a ton of Teratropes on it. Throw a time bomb at some of them and proceed to kill them. Continue to throw time bombs at any groups of Teratropes you see and killing them until they're all dead.

You'll also have 2 floating enemies to deal with, so delfect their spit twice for each enemy to die. A platform will appear after you've killed all the enemies. Go up to where Sigmund is waiting for you, then step in to the room once the door opens.

[X] Meet Sigmund at Mnemonic Station Iota
[ ] Test Mnemonic Station Iota

Go up to the Mnemonic Station and give it a whack with your Chronoscepter, and then proceed to enter Clank's subconscious. After the cutscene, you'll be back in The Great Clock. Follow Sigmund outside.

[X] Test Mnemonic Station Iota
[ ] Proceed to the Orvus Chamber

Use the Meteor Pad to reach the higher platform, and you'll be confronted by more Teratropes, both flying and grounded. Throw time bombs and kill the ones on the ground first, then kill the flying ones by delfecting their spit. More enemies will spawn as soon as the first lot are dead, so deal with them in the same manner. Once all the enemies are dead, head in to the next room for your last (mandatory) time challenge.

Start recording on the red pad, go over to the button on the right and stop recording. Start recording on the green pad, jump on to the first wheel, throw a time bomb at the next wheel and step on to the platform. Step on to the button, wait for 2 seconds, step off the button and stop recording.

Start recording on the yellow pad. Make your way across the platforms that come up when the red Clank steps on the button, then when the elevator comes down, step on it. Once you're on the higher platform, step on the button in the chamber nearest to the edge of this platform, wait 2 seconds or so, and step off it. Then, step on it again and step off it once you have about 34 seconds remaining on the clock. After that, go and and stand on the button on the right near the door and stop recording.

Start recording on the blue pad. Follow the green Clank over to the second elevator, and once it comes down, get on it and step off once it goes back up again. Stand on the button closest to the elevator, stand on it for a few seconds and then step off it and run to the button right in front of the door. Stop recording.

Start recording on the green pad. Do exactly what you did before, being careful with stepping on the button to make sure that the yellow Clank reaches the top, and then use the elevator to reach the higher platform. Once you're at the top, go over to the chamber that the blue Clank opens, stand on the button and stop recording.

Finally, start recording on the red pad again. Stand on the button and let the yellow Clank across, and as soon as he jumps off the platform and on to the elevator, make your way across to the other elevator, where the blue and green Clanks are standing.

If you've timed the yellow Clank correctly, the elevator will be down by the time you get there and you'll be taken to the higher platform, at which point you can walk through the door when it opens. You'll get 4,000 bolts for completing this puzzle.

Go outside and jump up to the higher platform to find more enemies. Like last time, use a time bomb on the grounded Teratropes and kill them first, the deflect the flying enemies' spit to kill them. More enemies will come after the first wave has been dealt with, so repeat this step until all the enemies are dead.

A platform will appear afterwards, so jump on to it. Deflect the turret's bullet and jump on to it's base, then jump on to the spinning split triangle. Throw a time bomb at the next spinning split wheel and step on to it, and then quickly deflect the next turret's bullet and jump on to it's base before the time bomb expires. Jump on to the final platform and step through the door with Sigmund.

[X] Proceed to the Orvus Chamber

After the cutscenes, you'll be in the Bernilius Sector.

Bernilius Sector - Space

[ ] Travel to the Valkyrie Citadel, Planet Vapedia.

Head towards Planet Vapedia to encounter Capelia. You'll have to defeat her to be able to land on Planet Vapedia.

[ ] Defeat Capelia to reach Vapedia.

This space fight is almost identical to the previous one against Libra. Fly along side the big vessel, barrel rolling in the direction it's heading whilst facing her and bombarding her with your weapons. Ignore the smaller ships, as they'll just be replaced if you destroy them.

There are a few differences, however. Once the ship reaches 2 thirds of its orginal health, it'll activate a shield like normal, but instead of having to destroy the smaller ships, you'll have to use your ship's tether to pull out a versa fuse on the back of the right wing.

Once the ship reaches 1 third of its orginal health, you'll have to pull out a versa fuse on the back of the right wing. After that, you can just keep shooting the ship until it blows up. There will also be a few asteroids in the field, as well as more mines and smaller ships than last time.

[X] Defeat Capelia to reach Vapedia.

Once you've defeated Capelia, head to Planet Vapedia.

[X] Travel to the Valkyrie Citadel, Planet Vapedia.

Valkyrie Citadel, Planet Vapedia

[ ] Infiltrate the Valkyrie Citadel.
[ ] Locate and rescue Clank.

Once you're out of your ship, go to the weapons vendor and buy the Mag-Net Launcher. Afterwards, follow Azimuth down the hill and kill the enemies with your wrench. Continue to follow Azimuth until you reach a Hoverboom bolt crank. Grab on and launch yourself off the ramp, and then kick off the 3 kick pads.

You'll see a rusted Hoverboot bolt crank, and Azimuth will head off to the left of the building. Head off in the opposite direction, to the right of the building, and grab on to the Hoverboot bolt crank. Head off the ramp on the right to start with. Take out your Buzz Blades and destroy the 2 respawners, then proceed to kill the remaining enemies.

Use your kinetic tether to pull the jump pad down, then grab the Battery Bot and jump off the jump pad. Go back to the building and throw the Battery Bot at one of the plugs and go back to the second Hoverboot bolt crank. This time, take the left ramp and kick off the 3 kick pads.

Kill the enemies if you want to, but regardless of whether you do or not, pull down the jump pad to your right and jump over the wall to find the other Battery Bot. Equip your Hoverboots and glide across the gap, go back to the building and throw the Battery Bot in to the other plug to open the gates.

Extract some oil and use it to get rid of the rust on the bolt crank. Grab on to the bolt crank and face the ramp. Let go and accelerate off the ramp, kick off the 4 kick pads and land on the platform. Take out your Negotiator and kill the 3 enemies you'll find on the ground here.

More enemies will come out of the 2 buildings to the left and right of the one on the ground in the middle, and they'll be flying versions of the one you just killed. Continue to use your Negotiator on them until the door to the middle building opens. Enemies will come out of here as well, so kill them as well. If you're out of rockets, you can use your wrench on the ones that come out of the middle building.

Go through the building and out the other side, and then go up to the bolt crank. Use your kinetic tether to pull both of the blue bars out all the way, then grab on to the bolt crank itself and rotate it so that the blue bars meet the electricity underneath. Follow Azimuth on to the ship.

[SP] After the cutscene, get off the ship and follow Azimuth. You'll find another bolt crank puzzle. There's a group of 3 blue bars in a row and a lone bar. Make sure that the lone bar is extended, and the left bar on the ground of 3 is retracted whilst the other 2 are also extended. Turn the bolt crank to match the bars with the electricity to rotate the bridge. Go across the bridge with Azimuth.

[X] Infiltrate the Valkyrie Citadel.
[ ] Track down Cassiopeia.

[SP] After the cutscene, teleport back to Aphelion and re-stock on ammo, and then go back to the citadel. There will be 2 flying enemies, so take them down first. Afterwards, a door to the left of the platform you're on will open and enemies will come out one by one. Again, use your Negotiator and your wrench to kill them.

Step in to the building once they're dead. Continue to use your Neotiator to kill the flying enemies, and either your wrench or your Negotiator to kill the enemies on the ground. Go up the ramp around the edge of the building, and a door will open at the top. Kill the enemy who comes out of the doorway, and then traverse the floating platforms to reach the next room. The platforms flip in ascending order, so once the first one flips, just go across them as they flip over.

After the cutscene, you'll be trapped. The big spinning machine will throw a bomb on to the field. Pick it up and throw the bomb at one of the cannons to disable it. The machine will now throw 2 bombs on to the field. Pick one up and throw it at one of the working cannons to disable it.

The machine will now throw bombs on to the field at a faster rate than the first time. Pick one up and throw it at one of the working cannons to disable it. Finally, the machine will throw bombs out even faster than before. Pick one up and throw it at the final working cannon to destroy the machine.

After the cutscene, go outside to encounter 2 enemies on the ground. Kill them with your wrench, and continue along the pathway to find 2 flying enemies. Use your Negotiator (if you're out of ammo for it, use your Buzz Blades instead) to kill them both. After they're dead, you'll see a Hoverboot ramp appear. Go back a bit and accelerate off the ramp. Go through the next 2 doors.

After the cutscene, you'll be losing health as you try to destroy this next machine. There are 3 buttons on the ground you have to activate, all on different parts of the rotating platform. Find and step on all 3 of them to start the next phase.

This time there will be 6 buttons to step on. Remember that you don't want to be walking in the opposite direction of the part of the spinning platform you're on. Rather, walk in the same direction, accelerating at buttons with your Hoverboots as you see them. Find and step on all 6 buttons to start the next phase. There will be another 6 buttons to step on, so do what you did before to disable the machine for good.

After the cutscene, go outside to up to the floating platforms. They will rotate in a certain order, from the right column to the left. Pick a column, and after it flips, quickly make your way across the platforms in that column. Once you reach the other side, you'll encounter more enemies.

Start to attack them with your Negotiator, and once you're out of ammo for that, your Buzz Blades and your Mag-Net Launcher. They'll keep coming for a while, but they'll eventually stop coming. A platform will appear in the middle when your're close.

Once all the enemies have been taken care of, turn the bolt crank on the left side of the room to wind the window down. Go outside and up to the next set of floating platforms. They'll rotate in a circle, so once the front one flips, quickly make your way across the platforms on the left side of the circle to reach the next room.

After the cutscene, start to go around the field picking up Battery Bots and throwing them at the nearest plug. There will be smaller enemies attacking you, but just keep swinging and throwing your wrench when they're nearby, as you can't destroy the Battery Bots. Keep picking them up and throwing them at the plugs until the next cutscene plays.

After the cutscene, go through the door and along the walkway. More enemies will be here, so kill the ones on the ground with your wrench and the ones in the air with your Negotiator and Buzz Blades. Once they're alldead, go over to the bolt crank puzzle. Make sure all the blue bars are extended except for the one on the left end of the group of 4. Rotate the bolt crank to rotate the bridge and have a Hoverboot ramp appear.

Accelerate off the ramp and land on the next platform to encounter even more enemies. Use your Negotiator and your mag-Net Launcher to kill them, the flying enemies being the priority (use the nearby weapons vendor to get more ammo if you need it), and eventually they'll start coming from the middle door. Kill them as well, then re-stock on ammo and head through the door.

[X] Track down Cassiopeia.
[ ] Defeat Cassiopeia and save Clank.

[SP] After the cutscene, you'll be up against Cassiopiea. To start with, a lowdown on her attacks. She'll lob and drop toxic sludge on to the platforms, and when this happens, don't stand where the targets on the ground are. Change platforms if the one you're on is covered in sludge.

She will also man (should I say woman?) the turret on her hoverbike, and fire bursts at you, as well as use full automatic fire. The bursts are a good opportunity to use the Plasma Striker to hit Cassiopeia's weak spots, as she'll rarely hit you, even if you're still. When she uses full automatic fire though, just head for the next platform. There will also be times when she's not moving at all, another good opportunity to use the Plasma Striker.

Use your Buzz Blades to attack Cassiopeia to begin with, and keep hitting her until she's at 2 thirds of her original health, at which point she'll descend below the arena, and 2 flying enemies will appear. Take them down with your Mag-Net Launcher (you may have to swing to different platforms to find them both).

Once they're both dead, Cassiopeia will ascend back up to the battlefield. Keep hitting her with your Buzz Blades, and the Plasma Stiker if and when the opportunity arises. Once she reaches half of her original health, she'll send more flying enemies after you. Use your Mag-Net to kill these enemies as well, and once Cassiopeia returns, use your Negotiator and whatever else you've got to take her down for good.

[X] Defeat Cassiopeia and save Clank.
[X] Locate and rescue Clank.

After the cutscene, you'll be back at your ship. Ratchet can now use time bombs. Fly back in to space, or head back to the Agorian Battleplex and participate in the Raritanium Tournament.

[ ] Travel to the Nefarious Space Station.

When you do fly to the Nefarious Space Station, you'll see a barrier around it. You'll need to go right up to one of the satellites, and hold L2 to acrivate your shield (you'll need 21 Zoni to get the shield). The satellite will fire at you and you'll repel the shot, destroying the satellite. Proceed to land on the Nefarious Space Station.

Nefarious Space Station

[X] Travel to the Nefarious Space Station.
[ ] Rendezvous with Qwark.

NOTE: You MUST have completed Valkyrie Citadel, Planet Vapedia to complete this level, because if you haven't, the first group of Swingshot targets will not be there and you won't be able to progress any further through the level (thanks to Katy Peacey).

[SP] Once you're out of your ship, go forwards to to the weapons vendor. Buy the Rift Inducer 5000 if you've got the cash, and then proceed to swing over the gap with your Swingshot. Some smaller enemies will appear and attack so, so fight them off with your wrench. 2 flying droids will also appear, so use your Mag-Net Launcher or your Buzz Blades to kill them.

Ride the transport up to the next platform, and you'll encounter more enemies. Go nuts with the Buzz Blades to cause some serious damage, and a blue ship will appear. It will drop some enemies off, so continue your barrage of Buzz Blades until you run out of ammo. Pull out your Mag-Net Launcher to take out any survivors, and then proced to swing over the gap with your Swingshot. You can also simply run past the enemies and swing over the gap without causing any trouble.

Equip your Hoverboots and accelerate off the 4 ramps, then kick off the 5 kick pads and either stay to take out the enemies (again, stick to your Buzz Blades and your Mag-Net Launcher, as well as your new Rift Ripper 5000) or simply accelerate over to the transport and be taken to the next area. You'll find Qwark here.

[X] Rendezvous with Qwark.
[ ] Scan Dr. Nefarious.

[SP] After the cutscene, you'll be in a trash compactor. During your conversation with Qwark, the trash compactor will close in on you and some Teratropes will appear. Kill the Teratropes and after the compactors retract, Qwark will kick down the door. Follow him in to the next room.

After the cutscene, take out your Constructo Shotgun or your Mag-Net Launcher and kill the 2 droids. A lot more will come soon after, so you may want to switch to your Buzz Blades or your Rift Inducer 5000 to get rid of them. Also, the cover here is breakable, so don't stay behind it too long if you do use it.

Once they're all dead, go over to the weapons vendor and re-stock on ammo, and then proceed up to the doorway. Don't go in yet, though. Rather, stay back and use your Plasma Striker to take down the mech (don't worry about the weak spot, just kill it from a distance).

Go inside this area. There will be a long battle with all kinds of enemies, including smaller enemies, droids and mechs. The Buzz Blades, the Constructo Shotgun, the Rift Inducer 5000 and the Negotiator are the best weapons to use for this fight. There are Nanotech crates and ammo crate son both sides of the room.

Once the lasers are deactivated, go back to the weapons vendor and re-stock on ammo again, and then go back to Qwark and down the hallway. Use your Buzz Blades to kill the droids at this end of the hallway, and move up the hallway and use your Buzz Blades again to kill the flyinf droids.

Keep moving up and use your Buzz Blades to kill the smaller enemies (your Constructo Pistol will fare here if you're out of ammo), and then pull out your Plasma Striker and try to hit the weak spots on the mechs at the other end of the hallway, making sure to move out of their firing path if you alert them and don't kill them fast enough. Use your Negotiator to clear out any other enemies you may encounter here.

After the enemies in the hallway have been eliminated, go back to the weapons vendor once again and re-stock on ammo, then continue to follow Qwark in to the next room. Your Buzz Blades and your Negotiator should easily deal with the enemies in this room, so kill all the mechs and the droids with those weapons. Once they're all gone, follow Qwark up to the air vent and send Clank in.

[X] Scan Dr. Nefarious.
[ ] Destroy Dr. Nefarious' Armada.

[SP] Now that you're disguised as Dr. Nefarious, go over to the elevator and call for Lawrence. Speak to him and tell him to send down the elevator. Get in once it arrives and go up to the next area. Exit the elevator, go up to the 2 mechs and tell them to move. Continue forwards up to the computer and the Terachnoid. Talk to the Terachnoid and say "Yes, I like shooting stuff." Take control of the Hypernova Defense Laser.

Shoot the asteroids as they fly past. They'll come from the right hand side and orbit you, so just keep shooting them until you automatically leave the machine. Once you do, call Lawrence and speak to him, asking him to land the fleet. Once he does, go up to the Terachnoid and press Circle to get rid of
him, and then take control of the Hypernova Defense Station once more. Shoot the one ship that you can aim at down the bottom of the screen.

[X] Destroy Dr. Nefarious' Armada.
[ ] Escape the Nefarious Space Station!

[SP] After the cutscene, you'll be up against some mechs and some droids. Like before, they'll keep respawning for a while, from the left and right corners of the room, so use your more powerful weapons like your Negotiator, your Constructo Shotgun, your Buzz Blades and your Constructo Bomb to take care of them.

Keep away from them though, as you've got a LOT of enemies to kill and you don't want to die. There's Nanotech and health crates on each side of the room.Eventually, the lasers will deactivate and you can leave. Step in to the elevator and go back down to where you were. After the cutscene, you'll be on Planet Morklon.

Bernilius Space (2nd Visit)

Fly over to the ship near Bernilius Sigma and talk to the ship. Accept the
offer for work.

( ) Defend the Terachnoid Convoy.

There will be 20 ships to destroy. It won't be too difficulty, so simply fly around destroying the ships. Once you've destroyed all 20 of them, a cutscene will ensue. After the cutscene, you'll have completed the mission.

(X) Defend the Terachnoid Convoy.

Fly over to the ship near Bernilius Alpha and Bernilius Gamma. Talk to the ship and accept the offer for work.

( ) Destroy 3 Spy Satellites.

The 3 red triangles on your map represent spy satellites. To take them down, you'll have to eliminate all 30 of the surrounding ships, and then shoot down the satellite itself. This is more tedious than it is difficult, as you'll be doing the same thing each time Start of by flying to one of the satellites, and roam around destroying the ships (ignore the ones with shields unelss you see them deactivate their shield).

Once the satellite disables its shield, shoot it down. The satellites don't have much health, so when you do attack them they probably won't have a chance to retaliate - you probably won't even have to use missiles. Repeat this for the other 2 satellites to complete the mission.

Here's a tip from Marcus Hagins if you're having difficulty:

"There is an easy way to defeat the satellites in space without having toblow up X amount of ships.

(X) Destroy 3 Spy Satellites.

There's nothing else to do here, so head somewhere else for more work.

Gimlick Valley, Planet Morklon

[ ] Find a way off Planet Morklon.

After the cutscene, walk forwards and jump across the rocky platforms to encounter some enemies. You'll be low on ammo, but these enemies are quite weak so anything will do. Mr. Zurkon could take care of these guys alone, no hassle. There's a bunch of crates in a small cave nearby, and there's a big crate behind the normal crates, where you'll find some ammo.

Across from the cave, you'll find some wooden platforms. Jump across them quickly as they'll sink if you're on them for too long. Go up to the lone Fongoid you'll find here.

[ ]  Enter the time portal.

After the cutscene, head towards the next set of wooden platforms, and jump across them to reach the time portal. Walk in to the time portal.

[X] Enter the time portal.
[ ] Free Zahn Gribnak.

First, you should go to the armour vendor and purchase the new Hyperflux Armour, if you have a spare 250,000 bolts. Next, re-stock on ammo at the weapons vendor. Kill the Agorians on your side of the bridge with your Mag-Net Launcher or your Negotiator, and a creature will charge at you. Kill him before he gets over the bridge, and the Agorian riding him, then make your way across the bridge.

The great thing about this battle is the experience your weapons get when they kill an enemy - compared to other levels, you'll get a whole heap of weapon experience. What I recommend here, rather than simply going through and killing everything with you powerful weapons over the course of the battle, is to level your weaker weapons up to Level 5, as many of them if possible. You might die a few times, but if you do, just go back and do it again to gain more experience. Also, remember that you have time bombs at your disposal, so use them as you please if it makes things easier for you.

Once you're done or sick of upgrading your weapons, continue to advance through the level. Now that you've got better weapons, you've got a much higher chance of getting out of this alive. Your Rift Inducer 5000, your Negotiator, your Mag-Net Launcher, your Constructo Shotgun and your Grootitron Glove should be your main weapons here. Use the Mag-Net Launcher on the enemies with shields to save time, and your Constructo Shotgun on any enemies that get close to you.

A dropship or 2 will arrive during the battle and bombard you with gun fire after dropping their troops off. Don't waste ammo on them, just keep strafing and flipping until they leave. Once they do leave, re-focus on the grounded battle at hand. Keep advancing and killing Agorians, making your way to the next bridge. There are Nanotech and ammo crates around the perimeter should you need them, and if you need to re-stock on ammo, just go back to the weapons vendor.

Once you do make your way to the next bridge, don't cross it yet. Rather, just take out your Negotiator and kill as many enemies as you can before making your way over. Once you do cross the bridge, take out your Constructo Shotgun and kill any survivors of the rocket attack.

Keep going forwards and you'll see 4 shielded Agorians as well as a big Agorian behind them. Use the Rift Inducer 5000, and have Fred take care of the enemies. Use the Constructo Shotgun on any survivors (remove their shields if need be). Go forwards after they're dead, until you reach the Fongoids standing at the entrance to a cave.

[X] Free Zahn Gribnak.
[ ] Destroy the Hydra Tanks.

[SP] After the cutscene, you'll have some Agorians to kill on your side of the bridge. The Constructo Shotgun or Buzz Blades should take care of them. Once they're dead, head over the bridge and go over to the Hydra Tank nearest to the bridge you just walked over.

These tanks shouldn't be too difficult to deal with due to your upgraded weaponry, but you've still got Agorians everywhere trying to kill you, as well as 2 Hydra Tanks to deal with. The Hydra Tank has similar attacks to it's predecessors in Krell Canyon.

You'll see the rotating flamethrower attack return, avoided by jumping over the flames when they reach you. The Hydra Tank will also shoot fireballs in to the air, avoidable by strafing around the tank to evade the falling fireballs. The tank also has a new attack, where it levitates and then crashes back down to the ground, sending a shockwave along the ground. Jump over it when it does this.

Other than that, it's normal routine. Each third of the tank's health you take off wil result in the shield being activated and the versa-fuses appearing. Remove them as per usual and keep shooting the tank with your Constructo Shotgun, your Buzz Blades and your Spiral of Death until you pull out its last versa-fuse and it explodes. Move on to the next tank and use the same aforementioned strategies to destroy it.

[X] Destroy the Hydra Tanks.
[ ] Defeat Commander Argos!
[ ] Plane the vine seeds.

[SP] After the cutscene, head to the bridge you crossed over to reach the Fongoids in the cave. Face the bridge, turn right and go forwards to find some seeds to plant. There are 3 beds to plant the seeds in to. Go up the rocky stairs on this platform to find a bed on this higher platform.

Go across the first bridge you crossed, bacl to the area with the time portal to find another bed. Go across the second bridge you crossed, turn right and jump over the gap to reach the next platform, where you'll find the last bed. Plant seeds in all 3 beds, and then return to the Time Portal.

[X] Plane the vine seeds.
[ ] Ride the vine!

GO back through the time portal to return to the present. The vine will be right in front of you, so get on and ride it. Jump over the red spikes, then jump to the vine on your right. Jump over the next bunch of red spikes and jump over to the vine on your right. Jump over the next 2 bunches of red spikes and you'll go back through the time portal on the vine. You'll automatically land on the platform after the vine ends.

[X] Ride the vine!

[SP] After the cutscene, the battle begins. Commander Argos will start off by firing bursts of bullets at you, avoidable by simply strafing away whilst firing at him. Use your Constructo Pistol or Buzz Blades during this period. Once he reaches 2 thirds of his original health, he'll activate his shield and you'll have a versa-fuse to pull out on the front of the ship. Pull it out to start the next phase.

Now, Commander Argos will descend, ascend somewhere else and shoot at you. He will also throw little tracking bombs at you, so keep running away from them to avoid them, as they will eventually explode after a certain amount of time if they don't hit you. Continue to use your Buzz Blades against Commander Argos, and when you run out of ammo, switch to your Negotiator.

Once he reaches 1 third of his original health, he'll re-activate his shield and you'll have to pull another versa-fuse out. Do so and continue to use your Negotiator against Commander Argos. He'll descend soon after and 4 Agorians will spawn on the platform you're on.

Use your Mag-Net Launcher and your Constructo Shotgun to take them down, then once Commander Argos ascends again, continue to fire rockets at him. If you run out of rockets, call in Mr. Zurkon and use your Plasma Striker, Your Constructo Bomb or your Sonic Eruptor against Commander Argos. Once he runs out of health, he'll re-activate his shield and you'll see the last versa-fuse you have to pull out. Pull it out to defeat Commander Argos for good.

[X] Defeat Commander Argos!
[ ] Return to the present.

Go back across the bridge and through the time portal to return to the present.

[X] Return to the present.
[ ] Find a power source for the ship.

[SP] After the cutscene, go back across the first bridge you crossed to where the time portal was. There is a Battery Bot near the rocks bordering the platform, so pick it up, return to the ship and throw the Battery Bot in to one of the plugs.

Go up the rocky staircase on the opposite side of this platform, up to there one of the plant beds is, where you planted a seed earlier on. There is a Battery Bot near the edge of this platform, so pick it up, return to the ship and throw the Battery Bot in to one of the plugs. Cross the second bridge you crossed and jump up to the slightly elevated part of the platform to find the last Battery Bot. Pick it up, return to the ship and throw it in to the last plug.

[X] Find a power source for the ship.
[ ] Return to the Nefarious Space Station!

Hop in the ship and leave the planet. You'll automatically return to the Nefarious Space Station.

Corvus Sector Space

Go over to the ship near Corvus Beta. Talk to the ship and accept the offer for
work.

( ) Help introduce Warlock and Snookiebear.

Latch on to the ship with your tether and head towards your destination. Along the way, you'll have to defeat 20 ships to advance. This won't be difficult, so fly around destroying the ships just like you've done 10 times before. The only difference is that these guys fire homing rockets at you, but they're easily avoided without much extra movement. Once the ships have been destroyed, pick the ship up again and drop it off at its destination to complete the mission.

(X) Help introduce Warlock and Snookiebear.

NOTE: If you accept the offer for work from the other ship, it'll be the exact same mission, except for the fact that you'll be travelling the other way. Same job, same reward.

Corvus Depot

Once you're out of your ship, talk to the Vullard and accept his offer for
work.

( ) Destroy 50 ships.

Get back in your ship and fly to one of the 3 satellites marked on your map by a red arrow. You'll have to defeat 50 ships, so go to one of the satellites and start destroying ships.. You'll only find 25 at one satellite, so once you;ve taken down all 25, destroy the satellite and then move on to a different one to continue destroying ships. Once you've destroyed a grand total of 50, you'll complete the mission.

(X) Destroy 50 ships.

Bernilius Sector (2nd Visit)

Nefarious Space Station (2nd Visit)

[X] Return to the Nefarious Space Station!
[ ] Confront and destroy Dr. Nefarious.

[SP] After you land, move forwards and kill the Teratropes. There will be a mech in front of the transport, so kill it with your Constructo Shotgun or your Mag-Net Launcher. Once he's dead, get on the transport and ride it all the way to the next area.

Swing across the gap with your Swingshot, and you'll encounter a mech. Kill the mech with your Negotiator or your Spiral of Death (if it's leveled up a bit, it's quite effective against mechs), and some flying droids will appear. Kill them all with your Negotiator as well, then return to the weapons vendor to get more rockets. Go back to where you were, and take out your OmniSoaker.

Extract some ice from the crystal nearby and then use the ice to cool the heated platform in front of you. Jump across the the circular platform, and 2 flying droids will appear to your right. Use your Mag-Net Launcher or your Buzz Blades to take care of them, then cool the heated platform in front of you and make your way across to the next platform.

2 mechs will appear on this platform, so use your Spiral of Death to kill them (if it's leveled up a bit it's quite effective here). Once they're dead, turn left and go to the edge of the platform, where a blue shiip will appear. Shoot the ship down with your Negotiator.

Take out your Plasma Striker and look down at the left side of the platform in front of you. Hit the weak spot of the droid to kill it instantly, then move to avoid what the droid fired at you if it got a chance. Glide down to the next platform. Rather than dealing with the enemies here, just go to the right and jump off the edge of the platform. Glide down to the circular platform with the arrows on it to find Dr. Nefarious.

After the cutscene, you'll be up against Dr. Nefarious. He'll execute several attacks, such as the one where he launches small purple bombs on to the field, avoidable by strafing away from them and keeping away until they disappear. He'll also drop shockwave bombs on to the field, so jump once they explode to avoid the shockwave.

To add to this, he'll also fire a laser stream at you, so avoid this by strafing to one side and flipping over the laser once you reach the edge of the field. If you find yourself in a spot of trouble regarding health, use a Groovitron against Dr. Nefarious, and take out your Plasma Striker. Aim for the weak spots near his neck to damage him while he's dancing. Remember, you've only got 4, so use them wisely, when he's kicking your arse.

Attack Dr. Nefarious with everything but your Negotiator, your Mag-Net Launcher and your Constructo Bomb. Keep avoiding his attacks and damaging him until you see a cutscene. At this point, equip your Hoverboots and accelerate forwards, keeping to either the left lane or the right lane to ensure that you hit the arrows on the ground. Dr. Nefarious will launch shockwaves at you, so jump over them to avoid them. If you see a Nanotech crate in between the 2 lanes, do a lane change and go through the crate.

Eventually, Dr. Nefarious will stop and you'll resume fighting him. Keep hitting him with everything except the aforementioned weapons. Eventually, some droids will fly in. Use your Mag-Net Launcher against them to destroy them. After they're gone, continue to hit Dr. Nefarious until some ships appear.

2 will appear initially, so take out your Negotiator and quickly take them down whilst continuously strafing. It's really hard to avoid their attacks, as even if you stop moving for a few milliseconds, you'll be hit. This makes changing direction when you reach the edge of the field very dangerous, so take the ships down fast. 2 more will come up, so use your Negotiator agains them too. Use your Constructo Bomb against them if you run out of Negotiator ammo.

Continue to attack Dr. Nefarious until you see the cutscene again. Take off on your Hoverboots, remembering to never stop accelerating and to alsays stick to one lane, only changing if you need to. Dr. Nefarious will now fire bursts of 3 shockwaves at you, but one jump easily clears them all. They may take up only one lane or both, so watch out.

Eventually, the perimeter will break and you'll be Hoverbooting from ramp to ramp. This section is easier than it looks, so just keep accelerating and going off the ramps. You'll automatically be pointed in the direction of the next platform, so don't worry about adjusting your trajectory too much.

Eventually, you'll land on an isolated platform with Dr. Nefarious. There will be a machine in the middle, but don't worry about attacking it. Focus on hitting Dr. Nefarious. Your ammo supply should have been filled up, so you can go nuts with your weapons from this point onwards.

For starters, use your Buzz Blades against Dr. Nefarious. The machine in the middle will emit a laser and rotate, so strafe around it in the direction it's rotating to avoid it. Dr. Nefarious will use the same attacks as before, with a new one where he throws an orange burst at you, easily avoided by continuing to strafe around the machine whilst attacking Dr. Nefarious.

Once you're out of ammo for your Buzz Blades, use your Negotiator against Dr.Nefarious. There are some ammo crates on this platform, and they'll appear at about the same time that the machine starts rotating again. The machine will eventually emit both a yellow laser and many smaller purple lasers along the ground. The purple ones move faster than you can, but don't do too much damage. To avoid them completely, you'll have to strafe towards them, jumping over them and landing in the gaps between them.

Soon after this, some smaller enemies will enter the field. The lasers will take care of them for you, so just keep damaging Dr. Nefarious. Once you get ammo for your Buzz Blades again, use them against Dr. Nefarious, and after this point, simply keep hititng him until he's dead, with your Buzz Blades or whatever else you have if you run out of ammo for them, as Dr. Nefarious won't have much health left.

Here's a tip from zandcastle:

"The Chimp-O-Matic/Chimpositron can be used to transform Dr. Nefarious in the boss battle. When you transform him you automatically win the battle."

[X] Confront and destroy Dr. Nefarious.

After a long battle, Dr. Nefarious will finally die. Took us a few years, but he's toast now. After the cutscene, you'll be in The Great Clock once more.

Great Clock, Sector Five

[ ] Beat Azimuth to the Orvus Chamber!

After the cutscene, move forwards and throw a time bomb at the spinning wheel. Azimuth will be shooting electricity at you, but remember that you can swing your Chronoscepter to deflect it. Once you've made your way across the spinning wheels, continue along the walkway, deflecting anything Azimuth fires at you. Jump across the floating platform and then run in to the Orvus Chamber.

[ ] Stop General Azimuth at all costs!

After the cutscene, you'll be on a Grind Rail. Jump over the 4 bombs and jump switch to the rail on your right twice. Grab on to the Hoverboot bolt crank, face the ramp and jump off it. Azimuth will destroy the 2nd and 3rd right ramps, and the last left ramp, so stick to the left ramps until you see the last one.

You'll land on a Grind Rail. Jump over the bomb, jump to the rail on your left and jump over the next bomb. Go off the ramp and kick off the 2 kick pads. Jump over the bombs, then jump to the rail on your right 3 times. Go off the first ramp, then go off the left ramp, and then right ramp. Land on the platform ahead of you and follow Azimith in to the room.

[SP] You'll now face off against Azimuth in the final boss battle. This battle is extremely fast paced, but it's more time consuming than it is difficult. You'll often run out of ammo for your good weapons, but there will be ammo crates to help combat this issue.

Also, if you die at any time during the battle, you'll spawn outside the room, with a time portal that will take you back to the Nefarious Space Station. Use this if you want to go back and get anything, or if you want to assemble the RYNO V at the Axiom City Spaceport, provided you have all the Holo-Plans. This will help you out immensely, and it's advisable that you quit the battle find the Holo-Plans and have the RYNO V assembled beforehand, but the battle is still winnable without it.

Azimuth has many, many attacks, most of which I've found are easy to avoid just by strafing and flipping all over the place. He'll throw his wrench at you, swing it at you when you're close by, shoot electricity at you, throw screens at you, all kinds of stuff, but continuous strafing and movement is the key to survival. As most of his attacks are ground based, flipping is a great tool you can use to avoid the majoirty of Azimuth's attacks.

The only attack where there's a better evasion strategy is when Azimuth hops on
his Hoverboots and zooms around the room in an anti-clockwise circle (irony?). He'll throw bombs around the field during this time. To avoid them, chase Azimuth on your Hoverboots and stick by him, as the bombs will never explode near him.

Your Buzz Blades, Negotiator, Groovitron Glove, Spiral of Death and RYNO V are the best weapons to use against Azimuth, and hopefully the ammo crates will replenish these weapons' ammo. Azimuth is one fast boss, and he'll constantly be running and jumping around the arena. It'll be hard to keep up with Azimuth, but so long as you keep strafing, flipping and firing, you'll deal some damage.

Once Azimuth reaches 1 half of his original health, he'll use the Orvus Chamber  and the building will start to collapse. Don't worry, none of the debris is actually going to fall on you, so just continue what you were doing previously in your attempts to stop Azimuth. However, he will introduce some new attacks, such as charging at you with his Hoverboots. Again, easily avoided by strafing and flipping.

However, the floor of The Great Clock will begin to collapse. Some portions of the floor will crack and fall, so don't fall in to those portions. To help avoid this, continue to keep moving as per usual. You can also opt to stay in the middle of the room, where the ground won't break, but you won't be able to hit Azimuth much and you'll have a much harder time dodging his attacks.

The only other thing I can tell you is to keep attacking him and dodging his attacks. The battle is very consisent the whole way through and only changes at the halfway point. You'll be fighting for a while, but eventually you'll get his health down to zero.

Here's a strategy from Sean Peffers:

"Instead of walking down the hallway to fight Azimuth, just stay outside, between the weapon vendor and the teleporter. Using the Plasma Striker, you can zoom in on Azimuth from your current position and shoot him from afar. After 3 to 4 shots, hell start hover booting in circles for a while, giving you a chance to buy more ammo and take aim again, ready for when Azimuth stops using the hover boots.

The only thing you have to worry about is the shots of electricity he fires at you, but theyre easy enough to dodge, especially when you can see them coming so far in advance. Of course, once you get Azimuths health down to halfway, the cutscene will play and you find yourself in the Chamber with Alister and have to fight him normally, but obviously he only has half his health and, depending on how successful you were at dodging the electric attacks, you should have close to full health."

After the cutscenes, you'll have beaten the game. Congratulations, hero! After the next cutscene, you'll have the option to travel back in time too before you defeated Dr. Nefarious in order to continue collecting items, and to battle Lord Vorselon, or to start a new game in Challenge Mode. If you chosse to go bakck in time, you can start Challenge Mode at any time by pausing the game, going to Extras and then Challenge Mode.

Congratulations, you have completed Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time!

Gold Bolts Guide

Gold Bolts are, funnily enough, bolts made of gold that are very rare and often hidden. There are 40 of these bolts in the game, and as you collect them you unlock costumes that Ratchet can wear.

Great Clock

Great Clock, Sector One

Gold Bolt 1:

Return to Great Clock, Sector One after you've completed Great Clock, Sector Three. Go through the level until you reach the hologram of Planet Jasindu. You'll see a small elevated platform next to the hologram - stand on it and press Triangle to start repairing time anomalies. Once you've completed the minigame, there will be 3 floating platforms behind the hologram. Simply jump across them to get the Gold Bolt.

Great Clock, Sector Two

Gold Bolt 2:

Just after you first see the Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler for the first time in this sector, after using the Meteor Pad on the balcony, glide across to where the elevated platforms are. but stay on the ground. Go around to the right side of the building in front of you to find a Gold Bolt.

Gold Bolt 3:

Return to Great Clock, Sector Two after you've completed Great Clock, Sector Three. Go back to the Mnemonic Station and re-enter Clank's subconscious. Accept the offer to do the puzzle. This is going to be a long and difficult puzzle, so good luck! Start recording on the red pad. Walk forwards, jump off the platform and boost up to the higher platform on the left near the red pad. Stand on the button for a second, and then head towards the  higher middle platform.

Jump off the corner of the platform you're on and boost up to the higher middle platform. Stand on the button here until the timer reaches 37 seconds. Then, glide down to the elevated platform on the right, stand on the button and end recording. Start recording on the yellow pad. Follow the red Clank up to the platform, and walk up to the chamber When the chamber opens, go in, stand on the button and end recording.

Start recording on the blue pad. Walk forwards, jump off the platform and boost up the the higher platform on the right near the blue pad. Walk along the left side of the chamber on the platform, and then jump off the corner of the platform and boost up to the higher middle platform. Walk up to the chamber, and when it opens, stand on the button for a second and walk back out.

Glide back down to the platform you were on previously, and when the chamber opens, go in, stand on the button and stop recording. Start recording on the green pad. Turn around and go up to the chamber. After about 20-25 seconds, it'll open, so go in, stand on the button and stop recording.

Start recording on the red pad once more. Re-trace your steps, doing exactly what you did the first time, letting the yellow and blue Clanks in to their respective chambers. Once every one is inside, glide back down to the time pads to see the open door. Run towards it and glide over the gap to get inside, then grab the Gold Bolt.

Great Clock, Sector Three

Gold Bolt 4:

After you complete the second time puzzle, go outside and turn to the right. Swing the Chronoscepter at the last broken object to reveal a platform. Jump and boost on to the floating platform, then jump and boost to the next floating platform to get the Gold Bolt.

Gold Bolt 5:

Return to Great Clock, Sector Three after you've completed Great Clock, Sector Four. Go back to the Mnemonic Station and re-enter Clank's subconscious. Accept the offer to do the puzzle. Great Clock, Sector Four

Gold Bolt 6: At the start of the level, after you've deflected the turrets' bullets, jump on to the first spinning split wheel.
