In a recent interview with Variety, Jesse Eisenberg spoke about his role in a film at the Sundance Film Festival (The End of the Tour); The discussion then of course also turn it to his participation in Batman vs. Superman: Eisenberg plays the role of Lex Luthor, the archenemy of Superman.
Among other things, the actor said that he would be willing to play that part again in future films dedicated to the superhero.
"I would love to," says Eisenberg. "It 'a great team and a great director, and this is the ideal character to play."
There were also rumors that Eisenberg will reprise the role of Luthor in Suicide Squad David Ayer, but nothing is confirmed for now.
Moreover, despite the enthusiasm for the role, it seems that Eisenberg previously was not at all a fan of the superhero.
"No ... I never cared much about him," he said, admitting that only recently has been updated with the previous films. "[I saw the movie] just to understand the context of that when I'm acting. But no, not a child. "
Also in the cast with Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Jena Malone, Holly Hunter and Scoot McNairy, the film by Zack Snyder will come in all cinemas on March 25, 2016.
