Jamaica finishing touches to the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the birth of reggae legend Bob Marley, who died in 1981 in Miami (USA) at 36 years of age and who will honor with a series of cultural events will begin this weekend.
The Theatre Company of Jamaica, with the recording of Marley, Tuff Gong family, began in January musical presentations "Nesta's Rock", a piece that focuses on the early years of reggae legend.

According to the Government of Jamaica, the day the birthday of the greatest exponent of reggae a symposium will be held at the Museum of Bob Marley Jamaican town of St. Andrew, in which the artist's influence will be addressed in commemorating reported reggae, fashion, marijuana and economy of Haiti.
The next day, the public can enjoy a free concert featuring artists from local and international reggae in Kingston, to remember the figure of an artist who came to receive UN’s Peace Medal in 1978.
It is also planned a football match on February 18 with the participation of celebrities and also will be called "One Love", referring to one of the most successful singles of the singer, who is part of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
