The Tribeca Film Festival unveils Half of its Lineup

The Tribeca Film Festival (2015) unveiled the first half of its lineup, which includes the premiere of the new movie from several familiar faces from Hollywood like James Franco, Richard Gere and Dakota Fanning.
Franco will compete in the New York event with "Adderall Diaries," a film directed by Pamela Romanowsky in which he plays a troubled novelist and addicted to drugs.
While Gere present "Franny," a drama that gives life to an eccentric millionaire who enters the life of the daughter of a deceased friend, a character played by Fanning.
Along with the stars, Tribeca presents as usual a wide range of independent and very international presence movies.
Among them will be the film Rican "Journey" directed by Paz Fabrega, which will have its world premiere in the official section of the festival, and the documentary "Havana Motor Club", focusing on the world of illegal car races in Cuba.
In the series "Viewpoints" will be seen for the first time in the US "On 5 Workshops" bittersweet comedy about football and love the Argentine Adrian Biniez.
That section, which is centered the search for identity by individuals and communities, it also includes the US documentary "Gored" about the figure of retired matador Antonio Barrera.
Created by Robert De Niro to revitalize Lower Manhattan after the September 11th attacks, the Tribeca Film Festival has established itself in recent years as one of the key events in the US cinema. This year's edition will be held between 15 and 26 April.
