The show that Jack White did at the Lollapalooza (2015) in Argentina last Saturday (21) was marked by the participation of the special guest Robert Plant.
The former lead singer of Led Zeppelin performed before the singer and guitarist took the stage to sing the Led’s classic "The Lemon Song".
This is a song that Plant rarely performed live in his solo career, or even in Zeppelin times - music came out of the repertoire of shows around 1969 and never returned to be presented by the end of the band in 1980.
White already had the honor of playing with another member of Zeppelin – he can be seen playing with guitarist Jimmy Page in the documentary "It Might Get Loud" (It Might Get Loud, 2008).
The White show at Lolla Argentina was also the longest to point in his South American tour. In Buenos Aires he sang 22 songs divided between the material of his two solo albums, other time of the White Stripes and Raconteurs and some covers. In addition to the LED, he also honored two icons of the 50s: Gene Vincent (with "Baby Blue") and Elvis Presley (with "Power Of My Love").
This collaboration will repeat again at Lollapalooza Brazil - the two will perform on Saturday (28) at the Interlagos Race Course in São Paulo on the same stage.
Before that they will also perform separate shows in other capitals. White plays tomorrow (24) in Porto Alegre at the Pepsi Stage.
And Robert Plant will open for singer St. Vincent - who also plays Saturday at Lolla - and roll in Rio de Janeiro (tomorrow at Citibank Hall) and Belo Horizonte on Thursday 26 at Chevrolet Hall.
