Mortal Kombat X includes 25 playable characters, of which a character (Shinnok) must first be enabled and another (Goro) is only playable through the pre-order the game. 16 fighters which are already known to most of the previous parts. But there are also new arrivals!

Cassie Cage
Biography:
Cassie Cage is the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade. Your fighting style is a mix of combat styles their parents. It defends the Earth realm, which is why they joined the Special Forces of her mother. But she is not in character steadfast enough to store a variety of self-doubt, because of pressure from her mother to show her something that is very large and it is still subordinated to it.

D'Vorah
Biography:
D'Vorah is of the insect-like race "Kytinn", which is resident on the island kingdom Árnyék. Shao Kahn conquered their kingdom and united it with the outside world. Her career, she was her ambition to a counselor of the Emperor. After Shao Kahn's death, she is the new ruler Kotal Kahn.

Ermac
Biography:
Ermac was created by Shao Kahn. Thousands of warriors souls bundle in his body, so he has supernatural powers. The fact that he wears many souls in itself is reason why he always speaks of himself in the plural.

Kenshi Ermac freed from the control of Shao Kahn. This gains in freedom of choice, which is why he also joins the earth realm, to help them in battle. After defeating Shao Kahn he joins Mileena in their campaign against Kotal Kahn, but later changed sides.

Erron Black
Biography:
Erron is mercenary and fight for those who pay enough. Although he actually comes from the earth kingdom, he spends his time in the outside world. Kotal Kahn recruits him and Erron ensures the consistent implementation of the laws in Kotal Kahn's kingdom.

Ferra / Torr
Biography:
Ferra and Torr were found by imperial troops in the desert and Tarkara Kotal Kahn passed, she was training to its Lebwächtern. Torr represents the muscular energy of unequal duo, Ferra the brain.

Goro (pre-order)
Biography:
Goro is a member of a race of half-dragon named Shokan. He participated in the Mortal Kombat tournaments and won nine tournaments. In the Tenth he was defeated by Liu Kang. When this happened, the hope of the outside world was lost only once to win the world empire for themselves.

Jacqui Briggs
Biography:
Jacqui is the daughter of Jax Briggs and professional kick boxer. Although other hand, her father is, she joined the Special Forces of Sonja Blade. In difficult situations, it represents the voice of reason.

Jax
Biography:
Jax was once an officer of a special unit, led those war against the outside world. He died, but his soul was taken by Quan Chi and used against the earth realm. Later, his soul could be freed and he was brought back to life. He gave the military service of shame fought for the outside world to have on. Since his daughter for those of Sonja Blade led, Special Forces undertook it does not always manage to stay away from it.

Johnny Cage
Biography:
Johnny was a professional actor Action and participated in a Mortal Kombat tournament to prove himself. After the tournament, he has been instrumental in mind involved the earth kingdom from the outside world to protect. Initially, the actor could Sonja get nothing. Later, they became friends and eventually they married. Cassie Cage is their daughter. After her birth the couple separated again. Biography:
Kenshi was looking for evenly matched fighters around the world and met on his travels on Shang Tsung, who persuaded him to pose an enchanted sword out of a soul fountain. This Kenshi blinded completely and had to learn to be more aware of sounds, so still represent a challenge for his opponents from now. After the murder of his wife, his son by Hanzo Kenshi can raise and educate Harashi. He is Sonja Blade as a consultant.

Kitana
Biography:
Shao Kahn was educated by and was one of his best assassins. But they had a conscience, as Shao Khan did not fit. He used her DNA to consequently produce clones and Kitana can replace that. When she found it, she fought on the side of the Earth Empire and died in the defense thereof.

Kotal Kahn
Biography:
Kotal Kahn's home was when he was very young, Shao Kahn conquered and united with the outside world. Shao Kahn died as he was the heir to the throne Mileena. Later he decided to overthrow them. He tried conflicts with the kingdom of earth to avoid, but what he did often not successful.

Kung Jin
Biography:
Is related to Kung Lao. He wanted to steal a family heirloom after his death, which Kung Lao Raiden bequeathed. As Raiden therefore took him to task, this changed his decision to take the heirloom. Instead, he joined the Shaolin monks. He then became a member of the special unit under the command of Johnny Cage

Kung Lao
Biography:
Was a member of the Shaolin monks and known for impulsive reactions. Shang Tsung, he defeated and Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat, but was then killed by Shao Kahn. Quan Chi used his mind to make him his subject.

Liu Kang
Biography:
Liu Kang won two Mortal Kombat tournaments. Shang Tsung and he defeated Shao Kahn, but attacked and killed in a later series of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. Raiden, Liu Kang revived and they fought together against the outside world. Shao Kahn as one day showed Liu Kang and wanted to kill him, Raiden stepped in to take it off for no apparent for Liu Kang to hold reasons thereof. Raiden, Liu Kang killed unintentionally. Quan Chi used his mind to let him fight for themselves.

Mileena
Biography:
Mileena is a created by Shang Tsung clone Kitana, for which he used her DNA and the DNA of a "Tarkataners" to create a hybrid. Mileena is so violent and combative talented as Shao Kahn wanted it and so that a suitable replacement for Kitana. Shao Kahn as was killed by Raiden, they took control of the outside world. She refused an alliance with the earth empire from to fight against the Underdark and was dethroned by Kotal Kahn.

Quan Chi
Biography:
Quan Chi is one of the most powerful wizards in the Underdark. He serves Shinnok in the war against the Earth Empire. To support Shinnoks he gathered the souls of fallen fighters from the Earth realm.

Raiden
Biography:
Raiden is a god of thunder and protects the kingdom of earth from the invasion of foreign and the underworld. He defeated Shinnok thousands of years ago and banished him to the Underdark in captivity. The War of the Worlds claimed many victims of Raiden's side. Including Liu Kang, former star of the Mortal Kombat series.

Reptile
Biography:
Reptile's home was invaded by Shao Kahn and almost destroyed, thus Reptile is apparently the last of its kind. Because his ability to turn invisible, is unique, Shang Tsung used him as a spy. After Shang Tsung's death, he joined other insurgents in the fight against the Empire Earth. Goal is to create his people again.

Scorpion
Biography:
His human name was Hanzo Hasashi. He was a member of the Shirai Ryu clan. All the members of the clan, and his family and himself were killed. His soul was caught by Quan Chi and used to make him one of his loyal fighters. Quan Chi told the now fitted with new name Scorpion, Sub-Zero, the killed his family and his clan extinguish read what Scorpion literally fueled to avenge his family. Scorpion Sub-Zero killed in battle.

Shinnok
Biography:
Many years ago, the renegade god Shinnok lost the fight against the Thunder God Raiden and was imprisoned in the underworld. Finally, he was able to free himself and attack the earth realm. His soul was locked up in an amulet. But Shinnok managed to escape again and to gain power in the soul source.

Sonja Blade
Biography:
Sonja Blade was forced by Shang Tsung to compete in Mortal Kombat. Although she initially hated Johnny Cage, developed over time a relationship and they got married. She is the mother of Cassie Cage, however, hardly cares for her daughter because they want to focus on their job more. She leads a special unit to combat the outside world dedicated. Her advisers Kenshi, and Johnny Cage belongs. Her daughter is also located in this special unit.

Sub-Zero
Biography:
His human name was Kuai Liang. He and his brother were members of the clan Lin Kuei. In a Mortal Kombat tournament Kuai's big brother Scorpion was killed. Kuai Liang took the fight from now on behalf of his brother, Sub-Zero, and wanted to find the murderer. Meanwhile, the Lin Kuei clan of it sought to strengthen his power, transformed by their members in cyber ninjas. Kuai Liang also was transformed against his will to a cyber sub-zero. After alternately Raiden and Quan Chi took control of Kuai's soul, that eventually fighting for the earth realm and tries to rebuild his clan.

Takeda
Biography:
Takeda is the son of Kenshi. However, he grew up without a father by his side. When he was 8 years old, his mother was killed. Then Kenshi gave His Son to Hanzo Hasashi, where he was educated, but many years nothing heard from his father. Finally, he was part of the special unit Sonya Blade.

Tremor (DLC)

Biography:
Tremor is a member of the Black Dragon clans. He uses the element of Earth and may even trigger earthquakes targeted. His body parts are mostly made of stone, which makes them a dangerous weapon. Much like Sub-Zero , he can paralyze his opponents for a short time. For this, he fires projectiles from rocks to petrify them.
His debut of Ninja in Mortal Kombat: Special Forces on the PSX. You yourselves are allowed him for the first time via DLC in Mortal Kombat X send to the field.
