Cove
Strategic Hints and Tips
When traveling around the outer edge of the island, equip a sniper rifle to take advantage of the long ranges of sight available along the beaches in these areas.
The majority of this map features long ranges of sight and wide open battle fields, so it is advisable to sprint quickly between whatever cover is available in these areas and remain in a stationary position for as long as possible to avoid detection from all sides.
Whenever you pass in front of a pathway that looks through to the area at the center of the island, check it quickly with your sights and open fire on any movement as it has the potential to be a location of high foot-traffic for enemies attempting to flank.
The area at the center of the island is an ideal place to leave C4 or mines for enemies passing through or attempting to steal your flag.
One of the best spots to take control of in this map is the crashed plane that faces the center of the island. Put a man at the back to cover the most obvious entry point and fire out from the plane’s front windshield into enemies passing through the exposed area outside.
The V-SAT and the UAV are two of the most useful tools you can deploy on this map, because they will help you travel safely and quickly to different areas that can be held down effectively, such as the crashed airplane.
Place mines or C4 behind one of the rocks inside the cave near the outer edge of the island, as this is another area that exhibits high amounts of foot-traffic.
Whenever possible, approach the island’s center area from an uphill pathway so that you will have the advantage of the high ground upon entering this high-risk environment.
Since there is a long range of sight into virtually every area of this map, stick with your teammates more than ever during games here to better ensure success and survival.
When being fired upon, drop to the ground rather than sprinting to safety so that you can possibly use the uneven terrain to your advantage as opposed to being easily picked off while on the run out in the open.

Detour
Strategic Hints and Tips
Equip a shotgun or SMG when traveling across the lower section of the bridge, seeing as most of the battles that take place in this area would be considered “close-quarters combat”.
Use an automatic weapon with a scoped-sight when traveling across the top of bridges, as this weapon type is most useful when firing from behind the various cover points or enemies approaching from an open distance.
Plant any explosives you have next to the doorway within the buildings at either end of the bridge’s top section.
When moving towards the buildings on either side of the bridge, approach them at an angle from the front window to avoid being sniped and toss a grenade in for good measure to scatter or eliminate enemies hiding inside.
Enter one of the buildings at either end of the bridge and equip an SMG, then run back and forth between the two open doorways in these structures and mow down any hostiles that try to enter or pass in front of your line of sight.
When traveling back and forth across the map, move along the outside edges where cover is most prevalent and keep an SMG equipped so that you can quickly dispose of any enemies that suddenly appear from around corners.
Use barricades and large trucks as your primary source of cover, seeing as the smaller cars can be blown up with a well-placed grenade throw.
Lay down or crouch behind a barricade directly in front of a building currently occupied by multiple enemies, then quickly stand up every once in a while to pick off and surprise any approaching hostiles. This method is also effective when defending or capturing a flag.
Before you unleash a kill-streak attack such as Lighting Strike, check the mini-map if possible to make sure that the majority of enemies are currently residing on the top section of the bridge.
When approaching one of the ramps that lead to the lower section of the bridge, toss a grenade or explosive towards the bottom of it first to ensure at least a minimal amount of safety when traveling between levels.
Take cover with an SMG near the tops or bottoms of the ramps that lead between the bridge’s two levels, then wait to open fire on enemies that use these entry points regularly.

Strategic Hints and Tips
Due to the high volume of long corridors and second floor windows, the preferred weapons for this area would be the SMG or, in some cases, the sniper rifle.
Surveillance devices, such as the UAV, are some of the most useful tools that can be utilized on this map. They can help you ambush or evade enemies hiding in the surrounding structures or around the various sharp corners.
Look for the stairs leading to a second floor landing in the southeastern corner of this map and hold the area down with a scoped automatic rifle. Each time you fire a quick burst out the window that looks down on the center clearing, quickly turn around to avoid being ambushed and check the ladder on your left for enemies making the climb.
You can position yourself in an ideal ambush spot by ducking behind the giant tires in the red hallways on the south end of the map and waiting for enemies to enter the corridor from either side.
With all of the narrow corners and various rooms spread out across this map, it is usually a safer bet to retreat into these obstructed areas rather than to stand and fight as a means of survival.
The open spaces outside and the surrounding structures without roofs, make this one of if not the best map for deploying kill-streak attacks like Lightning Strike and Hellstorm.
Avoid running across the open clearing as much as possible to avoid exposing yourself to enemy fire. The primary places you should be trying to hold down are the paintball area at one end of the map and building on the other side.
Toss any grenades or C4 you have from the open windows of the surrounding structures, so that they land in the clearing at the center of map where the heaviest amount of foot-traffic occurs.
You can hide in the bus outside the front entrance to the paintball area and open fire on enemies exiting this area, but don’t stay too long or someone will eventually toss a grenade inside the transport.
When battling inside the paintball room, toss grenades behind the barricades in the corner to increase your chances of it landing near an enemy.
Another excellent ambush spot is in the western circular corner of map, where you will find a small square opening in the wall that can be fired through while providing the maximum amount of cover.

Strategic Hints and Tips
The narrow hallways and rooms that make up the interior sections of this map are ideal for racking up kill-streaks with a shotgun.
Ascend to the second floor of the building along the eastern edge of the map and pass through the broken window to reach the balcony, then crouch down to look over the railing on either side and pick off enemies running by below.
Due to the high volume of interior hiding spots, the best kill-streak devices to be utilized on this map are surveillance ones such as the UAV or VSAT.
When traveling around the outside edges of the map, equip a scoped rifle for long-distance kills and stay on the move to avoid being ambushed.
Look for rooms with multiple entry points and crouch down in a corner that gives you a line of sight on all of them, then equip a shotgun or automatic rifle to mow down whichever enemies pass through. This is also an ideal method for protecting your flag.
When traveling through the control room, move consistently between the cover points provided by the surrounding consoles and keep your crosshairs trained on the upper landing to pick off sniping enemies.
Look for the bridge behind the building on the east side of the map and hide behind the barrels positioned at one end, then pick off enemies that try to cross or just run by in the distance.
You can crouch down at the bottom of one of the outside staircases and pick off approaching enemies before they see you.
Drop any grenades or C4 you have around the areas that border the outside of the map, as their narrow and restrictive nature makes them ideal for trapping enemies in the near vicinity of explosions.

Zombie Map: Buried
Use this walkthrough as means of accessing: the locations of all available routes and buildings, chalk symbols, the tall hillbilly in the jail cell and the work tables, rather than as a combat guide against the zombies.
Once you have been dropped into the level below, purchase a weapon from the wall and draw in another one using chalk.
Drop through the hole in the floorboards beside the symbol you just drew to land in the western town below and move forward across the dirt road to access the random weapon box ahead on the left, then turn around to rush towards the zombies falling from above and take them out with your knife.
Continue circling the town streets to eliminate any remaining zombies and find the staircase blocked by debris to clear it away, then drop through the open window ahead on the right to land beside the bank and withdraw money to increase your wealth substantially.
Open fire on the zombies emerging from the window to the right of the bank and occasionally check the hallway towards the left for enemies charging towards you, then head in this direction to turn the next corner and drop through the hole in the floor to enter the underground tunnel.
Proceed forward through the tunnel to emerge from the other side and collect the part in the corner, then exit the room to purchase new weapons from the wall on the left and continue forward to ascend the next staircase.
Locate the vending machine in the room at the top of steps for future reference and move through the next doorway to clear out the debris in front of you, then proceed right into the mine shaft to reach the stables at the end and climb the staircase in the corner to move around the second floor landing at the top.
Drop through the hole in the corner to land in the streets below and use chalk to change the question mark symbol written on the wall across from you, then move right down the street to enter the building next door to the bank and climb the staircase inside to collect a part from the first room at the top.
Open the locked door on the right to reach the landing outside and turn left to drop to the ground below, then enter the building marked with a lightning bolt symbol to climb the staircase inside and clear away the debris in the corner to jump between the rooftops in front of you.
Turn right to clear away another mound of debris and head back towards the left to re-enter the previous building, then collect the part leaning against the railing and return to the streets outside to move through the front doors of the saloon.
Use the worktable on the left to add a new part and clear away the debris to gain access to the stairs in the back corner, then exit the building to visit the general store and ascend to the second floor to flip the power switch.
Exit the general store to pass through the alley across from it and open the first door on the right to collect all of the parts on the ground floor inside, then leave the building via the front door to make a left down the street and climb the stairs beside the ray of sunlight to draw a new chalk symbol at the top.
Jump across the gap on your left to reach the next building’s second story and drop through the hole in the floor to land in the jail area below, then collect the glowing-green key off the wall and unlock the cell beside you to unleash the very tall hillbilly.
Quickly slip past the right side of the tall hillbilly to collect the Booze from the table in the back right corner of the cell and turn around to give it to him, then exit the jail to move through the open doorway across the street from the beam of sunlight and collect the parts on the ground floor of the next building.
Ascend to the second floor of the saloon to enter the first corridor on the right and follow it around to reach the hole in the wall at the end, then jump through it to land on the balcony below to the left and exit into the nearest available room to reach the balcony outside.
Enter the red-lit alleyway beside the jail to wait for the tall hillbilly to approach and give him more booze so that he crashes through the pile of debris behind you, then access the vending machine on the other side and approach the right side of the saloon to locate another worktable.
Unlock the doors to the courthouse to use the worktable ahead on the left and collect a part from the front of the judge’s stand, then return to the second floor of the saloon to to enter the first room on the left and climb the section of mine tracks outside to reach the tunnel above.
Navigate the tunnel to clear debris and collect parts until you reach the second floor of the courthouse at the end, then collect some booze from one of the tables in the saloon and approach the iron gate blocked off by debris next to the church.
Wait for the tall hillbilly to arrive and give him the booze so that he smashes through the nearby pile of debris, then pass through the iron gates to enter the mansion on the other side and climb the staircase to enter the room at the top.
Clear the area of enemies to access the secret passage behind the bookcase and proceed through it to enter the bedroom at the end, then follow the next hallway around to exit the mansion via a hole in the wall and land on the steps outside.
Proceed forward into the hedge maze and navigate the various turns until you reach the gazebo at the end, then descend the spiral staircase to reach the Pack-A-Punch machine at the bottom and return to the mansion.
Enter the mansion through the hole in the right-side wall and make a left through the building to collect a Navcard from the bookcase beside the next staircase, then ascend to the top floor to climb up into the mine tunnel above and drop into the waterway at the end to return to the general store.
Collect the green-glowing key on front of the judge’s stand in the courthouse and use it to free the tall hillbilly from his cell again if necessary, then lead him over to the church’s front entrance and provide booze so that he smashes through the debris blocking the doorway.
Enter the church to use the work table on the left and collect a part from behind the pulpit, then climb the stairs by the entrance to create a new chalk symbol in the room at the top.
