Clash of the Titans Walkthrough

Clash of the Titans Walkthrough

CoT4

Antiquity is a treacherous epoch, especially when you’re battling bloodthirsty, mythical beasts. Let our crack walkthrough writers be your guide as you sword-and-sandal your way through Clash of the Titans.

Island of Paxos

  1. Once you have been equipped with the Xiphos (that’s “sword” for those of you that don’t speak Greek), turn to your right and head towards the group of people. After talking to your father, Spyros, select “Yes” to accept your first quest.
  2. Turn right and head down the path towards the docks.

The Siren’s Song

  1. Once the quest starts, you will immediately be surrounded by animated skeletons. Use combo attacks with your sword to defeat them.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions and lock on to enemies to kill them quickly. It also helps to throw in a jump at the end of your combo to deliver a punishing blow.
  3. After you defeat the first two waves of skeleton monsters, the Siren will appear, along with a larger group of skeletons. Go right to the Siren and begin unleashing a series of combos on her.
  4. She will eventually turn into an orb and transport to a different location. Don’t bother fighting the skeletons and continue to follow the Siren around, making sure to avoid her blue blasts. Although you won’t be able to tell how much life she has remaining, after you deliver a fair amount of blows you will defeat her and pass your first quest.
  5. Once back in the Village, head past your father and head up the path and turn left toward the woman standing on the porch.
  6. After you talk to Marmara, accept the quest to go and search for Tekla.
  7. As you turn left and head up toward the mountains, you will encounter a golden owl named Bubo. Any time you see him you will be able to save your progress.
  8. Continue up the path and after talking with Eucli, head through the gates and up into the mountains.

Finding Tekla

  1. Advance across the rocky terrain and turn slightly to the left to head under the archway. Kill the two skeleton monsters up the path and proceed forward.
  2. Continue down the path to your right and kill the skeletons that will be waiting for you. Turn right and head under another archway. Walk down the steps and turn left to head toward Tekla who will be standing next to a statue of Zeus in a blue dress.
  3. After you talk to Tekla, turn around and head back up the three steps. Kill the skeleton that is carrying the crazy weapon.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions and perform a sub weapon seize when the skeleton flashes orange, then a blue circle will appear around him and you can get his hammer in order to kill him. In order perform the seize you must press X, Y, A and B buttons in some varying sequence, but unlike God Of War, it won’t show you what buttons to press.
  5. ACHIEVEMENT: Perform a flawless sub weapon seize and earn yourself an achievement.
  6. Use your new weapon to quickly kill the two other skeletons that will appear from the ground. Once you have killed them, head up the small path towards the large boulder and use your hammer to break it in order to create a path and complete the quest.
  7. Remember that you can only use your sub weapon attacks if you have enough soul power (the blue indicator bar). Gain more soul power by finishing off enemies with sub weapon attacks.
  8. After talking with Tekla, Marmara and your father, turn around and begin to walk away. Once Tekla calls out to you, turn back around and talk to Marmara again. Once you do this, your father will recommend that you go to sleep.
  9. ACHIEVEMENT: Once you wake up and talk to your mother, turn left to go and talk to Plato to learn how to change and/or reinforce your sub weapons.
  10. Turn around and go and speak with your father (the dude with the white hair) to accept your next quest. Turn around and head through the gate and up into the mountains.

The Undead Swarm

  1. Use your hammer to break the shields used by the two attacking skeletons, then finish them off with a combo. Once they are dead, head through the pathway that they appeared from.
  2. An undead spirit will appear, along with two skeletons. Kill one the skeletons by using your hammer, then use your sword to fight the other skeleton and when he starts to flash orange, perform a sub weapon seize to obtain the dual swords.
  3. In case you haven’t already tried, your sword and hammer are useless against the undead spirit. Use your dual swords to cause damage to it, then, when the blue circle appears around it, perform a sub weapon seize to deliver a lethal blow and obtain the healing core sub weapon.
  4. Kill the two skeletons and then get ready for some button mashing as a whole slew of skeletons and undead spirits will appear. Kill them all to beat the quest.
  5. Once back in the village, go and talk to the guards from Argos to lean about your next quest. Once you have accepted it, turn around and head back through the main gate.

A Few Good Men

  1. Turn right under the archway and head up the path. Kill the skeleton monsters and turn left at the fork in the road.
  2. Kill the next group of skeleton monsters here before crossing over to gap to rock climb the wall on the other side.
  3. Once you are up on the next level, proceed forward and kill the oncoming gang of skeletons.
  4. Turn left and climb the wall to the left of the fire. Once on top, kill the myriad of skeletons that appear. Once they are dead, follow the stream and jump up and across the three platforms to get to the other side.
  5. Jump down and kill the skeletons. Jump up the two platforms on the right side and rock climb up the wall.
  6. When you get to the scene with the dead soldiers in the river, cross over it to talk to the last remaining guard and complete the quest.

On The Home Front

  1. You will now come face to face with the wretched Hades. Follow the on-screen instructions and break the Necruous (the little triangular statue) in order to kill your enemies. Give the Necruous a few whacks with your sword, and you will be able to kill the skeletons.
  2. Run around the path to your right that is overlooking the cliff. You will be greeted by a couple of crazy looking demons with wings, as well as some kind of dragon. Perform a sub weapon seize on one of the winged demons to get the “Feather” sub weapon.
  3. Quickly make your way over to the dragon and kill him by holding down on the RB button and performing a chain seize to suck the soul out of him.
  4. ACHIEVEMENT: After your confrontation with Hades you will have completed the final quest for this chapter.

Island of Argos

  1. Follow the guard to go and see King Kepheus. After Hades storms the palace, defeat the guards made out of stone by using your hammer. Remember that when they flash orange you can perform a sub weapon seize for an easy kill
  2. After you kill the first two, another wave will follow. One you dispose of them, yet another wave will follow, along with some really cheesy looking statues that shoot lasers. These guys will take a few more whacks with the hammer, but they will eventually flash orange and allow for a sub weapon seize of “Martial Arts Core.”
  3. Tip: you can destroy the jars along the side of the room for some extra soul power and health.
  4. After talking with King Kepheus and Andromeda, go and talk with Draco (the guy standing by the fire pit) to receive your first quest in the new area. Turn around and head up the stairs.

Monsters In The Streets

  1. Head down the path and help the guards kill the crazy looking frog monsters. Perform a sub weapon seize on the skeleton with the axe in order to acquire a new ability with your hammer.
  2. Use your hammer on the boss frog (he won’t be hard to miss) and allow the guards to take care of the little frogs. Wait for the boss frog to stop jumping around, then whack him with the hammer. A few of these and he will be dead, and you will have cleared the quest.
  3. Once you return to the palace, approach Draco again and accept the next quest before heading back up the stairs.

Guiding Light

  1. Begin by killing the first wave of skeletons on the balcony. Next, perform a weapon seize on the skeleton behind you to get his Bow.
  2. Two Harpies will appear now, and you can use your new bow to shoot them down or use your Feather to create a tornado to knock them down. You can also wait for them to swoop down and perform weapon seizes on them to defeat them.
  3. Kill all of the skeletons and all of the Harpies to clear the quest.
  4. Again, talk to Draco to receive your next quest once you return to the palace.

Pacifism

  1. These guys are crazy! Too bad you can’t kill them. When the first crazy dude charges at you, perform a sub weapon seize to take him down. Two more will follow, then three more. Just make sure you time your seize perfectly, or else their shoulder thrusts will hurt you. Take down the last three to complete this easy quest.
  2. Once you return to the palace, save your game by paying a visit to Bubo. Then go and talk to the guard standing next to the treasure chest to accept another quest.

Rivalry I

  1. This is the exact same frog-slaying quest as before, except this time you have to see how many frogs you can kill in under two-and-a-half minutes. The more you kill, the more your health and skills will increase.
  2. Once back in the palace, talk to the same guard to receive your next quest.

Coliseum I

  1. This is another ridiculously easy quest. Simply take out the first two guards and then take out the second wave of guards. These guys are easier to defeat than the skeletons so you should be done in no time at all.
  2. Once you return to the palace, go back and talk to Draco, who is still not satisfied with your development as a soldier.

Night Watch

  1. Head down the palace steps and through the archway. Continue down the path and kill of the skeletons in this area.
  2. Once a guard calls you to fall back, kill the next next wave of attacking guards. Remember that you can hold down RB button to perform a chain seize, in order to suck the soul out of multiple enemies and kill them with one strike.
  3. Eventually, a dragon spewing green goop will appear before the archway to the palace. Watch out for the green stuff, get behind the dragon, and perform a series of jump-attack combos to defeat him.
  4. Kill the last of the remaining skeletons to clear the quest.
  5. After you return to the palace, go and talk to the guard sitting down at the table

Rivalry II

  1. This is another relatively simple quest; all you have to do is defeat more Harpies than the other guard, Nikomedes. Keep in mind that killing more frogs will cause more Harpies to appear.
  2. ACHIEVEMENT:If you have not done so already, once you return to the castle, you can reinforce sub weapons from the selection menu. Completely reinforcing a single sub weapon will earn you an achievement.
  3. Return to Nikomedes for another lame, banal coliseum quest.

Coliseum II

  1. These guards are a little tougher than the last group, but the quest is the same: beat the first wave, beat the second larger wave. Remember that you won’t have your soul power on this quest, so time your attacks and keep moving around to create space for yourself.
  2. Back at the castle, and accept your final test from Draco.

Swords Speak Louder

  1. For this quest you will have to defeat Draco in a duel. He’s going to be tough; just make sure to keep moving and perform rolls to avoid his quick attacks. Get in as many swings with your sword as possible and when you get his health down about a quarter of the way, perform a sub weapon seize.
  2. When Draco asks you where you learned to fight you will have reached a sort of checkpoint. By now your health might be pretty low, but if you die, you will pick up right where you left off after his question.
  3. Continue to get in as many hits as possible (making sure to avoid his charges) and when you get his health down about three-quarters of the way, perform another sub weapon seize.
  4. Get Draco’s health down to nearly the very end and perform one more seize to defeat Draco and clear the quest.
  5. After you listen to King Kepheus and Andromeda tell you how great you are, go and talk to Draco to learn about your final quest for this area.

Departures

  1. Just as in the “Pacifism” quest, all you have to do is perform sub weapons seizes against this group of god-worshipping crazies to take them down.
  2. ACHIEVEMENT: Once they are taken care of, proceed forward past the wooden crates to complete this chapter.

Miasmic Swamp

  1. Before you do anything, go to Bebo and save your game if you have not already done so.
  2. Go and talk to Draco first to accept your first quest for this area. After you accept it, walk up the path behind him to begin the quest.

God or Man

  1. Follow the path down across the stream and then turn left over the bridge. Kill the two-headed dog-beast that charges after you. Perform a sub weapon seize to obtain a “Flame Core”
  2. Advance across the bridge and kill the skeletons in the next area. Once you take care of them, turn around so that you are facing the bridge and walk down the rock steps to the right.
  3. Walk down the path and kill the oncoming enemies along the way. There will be a few of those two-headed dogs, but at this point in the game your combos have advanced and they shouldn’t be any trouble.
  4. Once all of your enemies are dead, jump back up the steps, turn left, and proceed forward. Walk out to the edge of the rocks and turn left. Have Draco help you kill the Hellhound that charges you and jump up to the next area.
  5. Turn left and head for the Necruous (the blue triangular statue). In order to destroy it and prevent monsters from constantly reappearing, go to your sub weapon menu and scroll to your left until you land on “Flame Core.” Equip yourself with this sub weapon and reinforce your skill and ability to maximize its power.
  6. If you have reinforced it enough, use your Flame Core sub weapon on the Necruous and you should be able to destroy it with one hit. This will kill all attacking enemies. Jump down from this area and join Draco next to the statue to complete the quest.
  7. Once back at camp, go and talk to Ozal to accept your next quest.

Taming Pegasus

  1. Walk down the path, turn right and immediately destroy the Necruous with your Flame Core.
  2. Head across the bridge, turn left down the rock steps, and kill the frogs before advancing down the path.
  3. Kill the frogs in front of you, turn left and head up the steps. Kill the enemies that appear before continuing down the path between the two torches.
  4. Hop across the first two platforms, then jump over to the pathway that leads to the right. Jump across the next set of platforms and kill the enemies that appear. Time your jumps carefully, but if you fall, don’t worry — you’ll just start over back at the last pathway.
  5. In this next area you have to follow Ozal’s advice and mount the Pegasus from behind. Slowly advance to your right and use the rocks as cover.
  6. When you get to the last rock before the Pegasus, wait until his back is turned to you, and he will begin to flash orange. Slowly creep behind him and as soon as your close enough, perform a sub weapon seize to get him. Keep your fingers ready––as you start to fly through the air, watch for the blue circles to indicate that you need to hit an X, Y, A, or B button.
  7. Once Princess Lo shows up to tame the Pegasus, you will have cleared the quest.
  8. When you arrive back at camp, go and talk to Kucuk for another quest.

Fisherman’s Son

  1. Kill the frogs in the first area and turn left over the bridge. Turn left down the rock steps and kill the Hellhounds before heading down the path to the next area.
  2. Kill all of the frogs, turn left and head up the steps again. Walk down the path and kill all of the enemies that appear. The undead spirits will make a reappearance; simply use your dual blades and get them with a sub weapon seize when they are close enough to the ground.
  3. Once all of the enemies are dead, head down between the two torches. Jump across the platforms toward the little light to acquire a fish and clear the quest.
  4. After you return to camp, Ozal will be sitting underneath the tent. Go and talk to him to learn of your next quest.

Herb Hunt

  1. You know the routine by now: head across the bridge, turn left down the rock steps and kill the frogs before advancing down the path.
  2. Kill the frogs in this area and perform a sub weapon seize on the undead spirit to obtain the “Barrier Core.”
  3. Once again, turn left up the rock steps and kill all of the enemies that will appear before the two torches.
  4. After they are all dead, jump across the first two platforms and then jump over to the pathway on the right. Kill the group of frogs and proceed down the path. Jump across the platforms and head into the next area.
  5. Turn left, head up the steps, and walk toward the little light to get the Healing Herbs.
  6. Jump back down the steps and kill all of the frogs, including the big boss frog. After you kill the first, another boss frog will appear. Your hammer will still be your most effective weapon against them. Kill them both and complete the quest.

Path Finder

  1. After you return to camp and accept the quest from Solon, select which guard you want to accompany you and head up the path to begin the quest.
  2. Same deal: head across the bridge and down the steps to your left. Kill the enemies and proceed down the path to the next area.
  3. Walk toward the glowing pillar (who knows why?), turn left up the steps and kill all of the enemies before heading onto the platforms.
  4. Stop by another pillar, jump across the first two platforms, but this time instead of jumping to the path on your right, jump over to the platforms on your left. Stop by another pillar and proceed across the bridge.
  5. Head up the steps and kill the undead spirits that appear. Stop by this last pillar to complete the quest.

Calibos

  1. As soon as you get back to camp you’ll be greeted by this crazy boss by the name of Calibos. Switch to your hammer and get off as many combos as possible while Calibos is focusing on Draco.
  2. When you finally get Calibos’ health down to a quarter of the way, press LB to start a sub weapon seize. While Calibos has you pinned down, wait for the blue ring to appear as soon as Draco flies through the air, and press X, Y ,A, or B to perform the seize. Don’t miss! Chances are that your health may be low and you might not get another opportunity.
  3. ACHIEVEMENT: Land the seize and watch Calibos shoot blue blood out of his arm as you complete the quest.

Tracking Calibos

  1. Following you conversation with Draco and Solon, proceed forward past the guards to move into the next area.
  2. You’ll notice that, for whatever reason, you are glowing green. Whatever this is, it is causing your health to gradually diminish. Quickly cross the narrow tree trunk and kill the huge scorpion that appears on the other side. (Tip: yon can also increase your own health by using your healing core sub weapon if you have enough soul power.)
  3. Make your way up the steps and then make the big jump down, making sure to kill the two scorpions along the way. Jump across the platforms and kill the frogs and scorpions that will be waiting for you. If your soul power is low, use a chain seize to acquire more soul from your enemies.
  4. Advance across the bridge and then across the first two platforms. Next, turn and jump to the platform on your right. Head up the steps and kill the enemies that you come across down the path.
  5. Kill the scorpions in the swamp area and turn down the path on your left. Make sure you increase you health before you advance, because there will be a ton of scorpions and undead spirits waiting for you.
  6. Defeat all of them to clear the quest and complete the chapter.

Desert of The Djinn

Fall In

  1. As soon as you get to the desert, you will be thrown into the middle of another quest. Don’t be intimidated by all of the scorpions –  simply drop down, turn right and go destroy the Necruous.
  2. Next, run across to the other side and destroy another Necruous, followed by another one that is just to your left, against the wall. Destroy all three and the scorpions will disappear.
  3. Turn around and enter the cave. Here you will have to take on a huge, grotesque boss scorpion. Make sure to keep moving and to keep an eye on your health, as it will continue to automatically deplete due to your green glowing state.
  4. The boss scorpion looks menacing, but he’s not that tough. Equip yourself with the dual blades and use repetitive air combos against his face.
  5. ACHIEVEMENT: If your skill is high enough with the dual blades, you can earn an achievement by performing a 30-hit combo in under seven seconds.
  6. When you get the boss scorpion’s health down about three quarters of the way, look for him to flash orange. Perform a sub weapon seize to finish him off and clear the quest.
  7. After you encounter the Djinn and receive healing from Io, head over to Draco where you will learn of your next quest in the desert. Head through the cave to begin the quest.

The Spoken Word

  1. After you’ve learned that the Satyros creatures have made a deal with Calibos for your head, kill the first two Satyros creatures before turning around and making your way across the platforms. Use your hammer and rely on aerial combos with your dual blades to quickly and effectively kill the Satyros creatures.
  2. Kill the rest of the Satryos creatures in the next area without letting Princess Lo die to complete the quest.

Night Raid

  1. Once you meet up with Draco again, select him (he seems to be the most helpful) as your parter for your next quest.
  2. As soon as you start this quest, begin by taking out the Satyros creatures that will swarm around you. A soul seize would be a good idea here.
  3. Continue down the path and kill the next wave of Satyros creatures. Continue down the path, turn right, and kill the Satryos creatures who are coming down the steps.
  4. Head over to the path on the left and kill the rest of the Satyros creatures to complete the quest.
  5. Once you are back at camp, go and talk to Draco about your next quest. You will have the option here between two quests; “infiltration” sounds like more fun, so we are going to go with that.

Infiltration

  1. First, destroy the two glowing orbs to open the big door with the eye. Once the door opens, kill the Satyros creatures that appear.
  2. Head down the steps and slay the slew of Satyros creatures that will be waiting for you.
  3. Once they are all dead, look up and around the room for another glowing orb. Rock climb the wall to get up to it, then destroy it.
  4. Drop back down and run directly across to the other side of the area. Jump across the platform, kill the Satyros creatures and destroy the other glowing orb.
  5. Head back across the platform, but time your jump so that you don’t get caught in that sand that is now falling from the ceiling.
  6. Kill the next group of Satyros creatures and head through the newly opened door on your right.
  7. Head down the steps and be careful as you walk across the area before the narrow pathway. You will see a floating eye, which, after you destroy it, will cause crazy sand monsters to pop up out of nowhere.
  8. Perform a sub weapon seize on one of these guys to obtain the “Underworld Core.” Kill the rest of them, then proceed across the pathway and into the next area.
  9. Head right and down the steps. Quickly cross through the wave of sand when it stops and kill the Satyros creatures.
  10. Wait for the next wave of sand to stop and jump down the next series of steps. Kill the next group of Satyros creatures in this circular area.
  11. Run over to the ledge with the Satyros creature who is shooting arrows at you, climb up, and kill him. Make the short jump over to the platform that is holding the glowing orb and destroy it.
  12. Walk over to the steps that are located in the left corner from the door with the eye. Climb up the steps, wait for the sand wave to cease, and jump across.
  13. Pull yourself up, turn left, and rock climb up the wall. Turn right and rock climb up another wall, before turning left and destroying the other glowing orb.
  14. Head back down to the main area and head for the door with the eye. After it opens, get ready for a crazy fight with a cyclops. He won’t be too difficult; just get behind him and use your aerial combos with your dual blades.
  15. When the Cyclops flashes orange, perform a sub weapon seize to defeat him (keep your fingers ready and watch for the blue rings). After he is dead, kill the Satyros creature to complete the quest.

Out of The Frying Pan

  1. Head down the path and kill the two Hellhounds in the swamp area. Next, head over to the pathway on the right to move to the next area.
  2. Kill the two oncoming Hellhounds, head up the steps, and advance down the pathway. Make your way over the rock pathway and kill the frogs along the way.
  3. Destroy the undead spirits first, then head for both Rafflesia plants and destroy them to get the seeds. Be quick, and watch out for the projectiles that it shoots. Head back across the rock path and back to the last area.
  4. Advance forward and head down the steps to the right of the bridge. Kill the Hellhounds and head straight down the path to the next area. Kill the two Hellhounds and head up the two steps on your left. Kill all enemies here, then proceed across all of the platforms and across the bridge.
  5. Make your way along the path, being careful to jump from platform to platform, and rock climb the wall next to the torch. Head down the steps, cross the tree trunk bridge, and rock climb the wall. Destroy all enemies and the two Rafflesia plants before heading all the way back across the bridge.
  6. Cross the first two platforms, then jump over to the pathway on your left. Carefully make your way across the platforms and destroy the three Rafflesia plants in the next area to complete the quest.
  7. Once back at camp, talk to Draco to learn of your final quest for this chapter.

Into The Fire

  1. Head down the path and kill those crazy looking sand monsters. These guys love to spit a ton of that lovely green stuff at you, so do a couple of rolls to get close and take them out.
  2. After they are all dead, head all the way down the path on the right and head up the steps and in through the cave. When you arrive on the other side, a huge sand worm boss will be waiting for you.
  3. In order to avoid him snatching you up, get close to him and, like most of the other bosses, perform aerial combos to cause maximum damage. This would also be a good time to update your sub weapons if you have not done so recently. The Axe Of Themis works great, especially when charged with Battle Song III (Piscium Harp).
  4. Once you get the boss sand worm’s health down to about half way, he will disappear and send his little friends out to join you. Dispose of them and he will return.
  5. Continue your aerial combos against him. When you get his health down to about three quarters of the way, he will once again burrow into the ground and a group of Satyros creatures will appear.
  6. After you take care of the Satyros creatures, the boss will rear his ugly head once again. When his health is almost gone and he begins to flash orange, perform a sub weapon seize to defeat him. As usual, keep your fingers ready and watch for the blue circles.
  7. If you are facing the blue flame, head through the cave to the right. Head down the steps and kill the smaller sand worms in this area. Once they are all dead, head through the cave on the right side of the area, near the edge of the cliff.
  8. As if the sand worm boss wasn’t bad enough, you’ll now have to face an even bigger sand serpent. To make matters worse, you need to keep moving in order to avoid his green barf balls and still fight off skeletons and sand worms in the process.
  9. The only way to inflict damage on the serpent is to strike him after he attempts to smash you with his body. As soon as you see him rear his head back, time a quick series of rolls just right to avoid getting flattened. One shot will take over half of your health away.
  10. With the serpent now on the ground, get right under his mouth and quickly perform a series of combos. Repeat this process until you get his health down to about half way, look for him to flash orange and perform a sub weapon seize.
  11. ACHIEVEMENT: The first part of this seize will take you inside of the serpent’s mouth. Watch for the blue rings while you are inside of him and hit each one to defeat him and clear the quest.

Norn Mountain

Eye For An Eye

  1. For this strange quest, all you have to do is intercept the eyeball in the Stygian Witches’ game of hot potato. Avoid the blue glowing ball and get close enough to one of the witches right as the eye is being thrown to them. As soon as they flash orange, perform a sub weapon seize to snag the eye and complete the quest.
  2. Back in the witches’ lair, go and talk to the witch on the right to learn of your next quest. After you select a companion, turn around and head up the steps to begin the quest.

Higher Learning

  1. Head down the unusually long path and prepare to fight a couple of giant floating eye balls that will appear at the fork. Next, kill the little Medusa creatures and then continue down the pathway to the right.
  2. Continue down the next foggy path to the next area, where a crazy looking bat-chick with Wolverine claws will charge you. Kill her and another huge eye ball before heading down the path to the left.
  3. Kill the bat-women here, as well as the Medusa creature who is shooting arrows in the distance. Continue down the path and into the next area. Kill two more Junior Medusas and continue into the next area.
  4. Drop down into the crater and destroy all of the enemies to clear the quest.
  5. Once you return to the lair, talk to the middle witch to get your next quest.

Something To See

  1. Look familiar? Head down the path, where you will eventually come upon two centaurs. Watch out for their charges and destroy both of them.
  2. Proceed down the path to your left into the next area. Kill the next group of centaurs, as well as the rest of the enemies. Kill yet another group of centaurs in the next area to clear the quest.
  3. When you return to the lair, talk to the last witch on the left to receive another quest.

Gift Horse

  1. Walk down the path and kill the undead spirit and the two centaurs at the fork. Move down the right and kill the centaurs and the skeletons in next area.
  2. Continue down the path and kill all enemies along the way. Head down the path and on to the next area. Kill the giant eyeball, as well as the rest of the creatures here, before turning down the path on the right.
  3. Head straight ahead, under the bridge and into the next area with the centaur boss.
  4. A pretty simple boss — combos with your axe will be most effective. Get his health down to the end and perform a sub weapon seize to kill him and clear the quest.

The Beast Within

  1. Turn left, head up the steps and on through the cave. Kill all of the enemies in the next area and head directly across through the next cave.
  2. Hop down the steps and kill the Satyros creatures. Turn right, head up the steps, and in through another cave.
  3. Hop across the platforms and run to the back of the area. Here is where the Chimera that you have seen flying around will finally land. The Chimera will throw everything at you: charges, fire blasts, tail whips, blue lightning bolts, etc. Like other bosses, keep moving and use your axe to inflict the most damage.
  4. Get the Chimera’s health down about three quarters of the way, and perform a sub weapon seize to finish him off. Remember to keep your health recovery sub weapon handy, just in case your health starts to get low.

The Gods Are Watching

  1. Head across the first path and destroy the enemies in the next area. Head down the right path. Destroy the centaur and the huge eye in the next area before advancing.
  2. Kill all of the enemies in this area, then take out the huge eye. You’ll notice that this giant eye will be more difficult to defeat, because it randomly opens and closes. Walk around when the eye is closed. As soon as it opens, unleash an aerial combo.
  3. it might take a while, but once he’s dead, proceed down the middle pathway. In the next area you will meet Apollo, receive the Coin Of The Underworld, and complete the quest.

Face Your Destiny

  1. Head straight down the middle pathway and on into the next area. Jump across the platforms and destroy the skeleton. Don’t worry about the huge eye; just proceed down the next set of platforms. Head down the path on your left toward the next area.
  2. Head down the path and kill all of the enemies along the way. Once in the next area, head down the path and turn right down the steps. Turn right and head down the path and into the next area.
  3. In this area you will need to destroy four Necruouses. Destroy the first two on the ground by using your axe, then equip yourself with one of your bows and quickly shoot a round of arrows at the two Necruouses that are floating in the air. Once they are all destroyed, head through the newly opened entry way to the cave.

Charon’s Ferry

Daughter of Fate

  1. On the deck of Charon’s Ferry, go and talk to Solon to begin your next quest.
  2. Funny thing is, this really isn’t a quest. Once you are down in the ferry’s hold, walk around until Io comes out of nowhere and tries to beat you up. It’s just a motivational/romantic scene.

Above The Underworld

  1. Back on the deck of the ferry, take out the skeletons and the flock of harpies. It might take awhile, after you defeat them you have completed another quest.

Scales

  1. Patience is a virtue. The Soul Serpent will take time, but you have to make the most of your opportunities. At first, the camera will cut to an odd angle, and he will shoot souls at you that luckily only inflict a minimal amount of damage.
  2. Wait until the camera changes back to a normal view. When the serpent leaves his body exposed, use your bow and fire off as many arrows as you can at the yellow spots on his body. You will have to wait awhile for this to happen again, so be ready when it happens.
  3. Get the serpent’s health down about a quarter of the way, and when he flashes orange, perform a sub weapon seize to rip off one of his fangs. After you stab him with it, he will spin around you in a circular motion and obstruct your view. When he does this, use aerial combos against his body to take away some more damage.
  4. Once you get his health down just past halfway, he will temporarily leave. Be ready! He will come charging back at you as he flashes orange. When he does, perform another sub weapon seize.
  5. ACHIEVEMENT: Defeat the serpent and earn and move on to the next chapter with another achievement.

The Underworld

The Three Keys – The Evil Lizard

  1. Go and talk to Io to begin you first quest in this area.
  2. Start off by killing the two undead spirits that appear, then head down the path on the right. Destroy the Necruous on your right (the gray one) with your axe, then use your flame core to destroy the blue one on the left.
  3. Turn back up the other path and destroy the third one in the air by using an aerial combo. Head down the back and into the next area.
  4. Destroy all of the enemies in this area, then wait for the Basilisk will appear. Watch out for his charges and get out of the way when he releases that green gas — it will do a number on your health.
  5. The best time to do some damage on Basilisk is when he stands up on his two hind legs. This should give you some time to unleash a few combos, but don’t stand there too long or you’ll be smashed when he falls down.
  6. ACHIEVEMENT: If you use your healing core five times to support your ailing sidekick, you will earn an achievement.
  7. Once his health his dwindling, he will resort to tail slashes and Godzilla-like fire balls; make sure you keep moving. Eventually, when you get his health down to the end, perform a sub weapon seize to defeat him and obtain the key.
  8. Once back at the lair, go and talk to Io again for your next quest.

The Three Keys – The Watch Dog

  1. Start off by killing a ton of scorpions. Eventually two Hellhounds will show up. When they do, take care of them, along with the rest of the scorpions.
  2. Once you’ve defeated all of the enemies, Dioskilos will arrive. This is a fairly simple boss in that he won’t really come after you, but his Hellhound minions will. Take care of them first, then use your axe against Dioskilos.
  3. All you have to watch out for is tail whips and fire balls from Dioskilos. Get his health down to its last drop and perform a sub weapon seize to defeat him and obtain his key.
  4. Back at the lair, talk to Io again for your next quest.

The Three Keys – The Giant

  1. Head up the steps. Don’t waste your time fighting the enemies, just use your axe to destroy the Necruous and you can proceed.
  2. Destroy the sand worms and other creatures. Rock climb up to the next level, destroy the blue Necruous on the left and rock climb up the nearby wall.
  3. Make your way down the path. After you jump up onto the first step, use your bow to destroy an orange Necruous that is floating out in the distance.
  4. Advance across the tiny platforms, cross the little bridge, drop down to the next path, make your way up the steps and use your axe to destroy another Necruous to your left.
  5. Head down the path and then up the next set of stairs into the next area. Defeat all of the enemies here and then get ready to take on Polyphemus.
  6. Watch out for those crazy spike-infested hammers as you make your way behind Polyphemus. He’s rather slow, so take a few shots at his back before he whips around and takes a swing at you.
  7. Remember you can easily defeat the blue sand worms to get some extra soul power if you ever run out. Get Polyphemus’ health down to the end and perform a sub weapon seize to kill him and beat the quest.
  8. Talk to Io to learn about your final quest for this chapter when you return to the lair.

The Gate Opens

  1. Your sole task in this quest is to defeat the Skeleton King. This is another boss that will take quite a bit of patience. His main form of attack will be to jump in the air and do a sort of ground pound. All you have to do is jump right at the moment that he is about to land to avoid any damage.
  2. He’s probably the toughest boss yet, so now would also be a good time to upgrade your sub weapons (probably the axe) as much as possible. It would also be a good idea to keep your healing core handy.
  3. He will repeat this jump about five or six times in a row. Afterward, when he either tries to take a swipe at you or shoots his blue laser, run behind him and get off as many combos as possible. The only other move to watch out for is when his chest starts to glow — make sure you move out of the way to avoid the blue sphere.
  4. Once you get his health down to about halfway, he will fall to the ground. When he does, attack the blue light in his chest as much as possible before he gets back up. When he does get back to his feet, he will add in a tail whip with each jump, so watch out.
  5. ACHIEVEMENT: Once you get his health down to the final drop, perform a sub weapon seize with him on the ground to defeat him and clear the quest.

Medusa’s Temple

A Human’s Strength

  1. After talking with Draco, head through the two huge doors to face Medusa.
  2. Once inside, turn right and head down the path. Destroy the golden vases along the path to earn some extra soul power.
  3. Continue down the path and head through the doorway on the right. Head down the steps and to the left. Kill the skeletons, then make your first left, which will lead you into another room.
  4. Take out the scorpions, and when the horse statue stops spinning its blades of fire, whack it on the head a few times with the axe to destroy it. Head through the rock tunnel and into the next area.
  5. Turn down the stairs and head in through the doorway on your left. If you want, you can bypass these enemies and head straight through the next tunnel.
  6. Another fire-wielding horse statue! Jump up and come down on its head with a swing of your axe. This should stop the fire temporarily, then quickly strike it again and again to destroy it.
  7. Two of the statues will come to life; watch out for their lasers and destroy them. This will open up the gates on the two doors. Head through the door on the right.
  8. Head all the way down the path and through the doorway on the right. This should lead you to the big round room that you’ve been in before, only now it’s night time.
  9. Turn left and make your second left, up the stairs and in through another doorway. This will sound strange, but turn around and head back through the doorway. Turn right and make your second right through the original door that you came through. Head down the long path of stairs and in through the doorway at the bottom, then head through the doorway directly across from you in the next area.
  10. Defeat all of the enemies that appear, then head through the newly opened gate down the rock tunnel. Run to the next doorway to finally meet Medusa.
  11. You’ll receive some help from the Argos soldiers, but as the fight goes on, Medusa will turn them into stone, one by one. In order to help yourself, it would be a good idea to upgrade your sub weapons.
  12. The most obvious thing to watch out for is when her face turns into a bright white light; this means she is preparing to shoot a beam of light that will turn you to stone. Avoid the beam of light and use this time to unleash as many combos on her as possible.
  13. Don’t mess with Medusa when you’re roaming about, or you’ll get nailed by a tail whip. Once her health is down to about halfway, perform a sub weapon seize.
  14. After you Draco sacrifices himself and you are able to cut off her tail, all you have to watch out for are her protruding lasers that shoot out from her face. As soon as she shoots them, move in and get in as many hits as possible.
  15. ACHIEVEMENT: Once Medusa’s health is almost gone, perform a sub weapon seize to cut her head off and clear the quest.

Disillusionment

  1. Head through the doorway directly across from you. Jump over the two beams of fire and head through the next doorway.
  2. Run up the stairs and head through the doorway at the top. Turn left, destroy the horse statue with flames at the first left and proceed through the tunnel and into the next area.
  3. Don’t bother destroying the scorpions or the horse statues in this area, just head through the doorway in the right corner.
  4. Destroy all of the enemies in this area to dissolve the flame barrier, then proceed up the stairs and through the doorway. Once again, head up the stairs and through the doorway at the end.
  5. Turn right until you reach a gold statue. Hit it until a flame sparks, then run around to the left side and do the same thing. Run back to the middle and cross the newly formed bridge to the other side.
  6. Head through the doorway into the next area. Disregard the scorpions again and head through the the rock hallway on the right. Head up another set of stairs and through the doorway.
  7. Turn left and make your first left up the stairs and through the doorway. Head up a final set of stairs toward what should be a tunnel of light that will finally lead you out of the temple.
  8. Unfortunately, as soon as you meet back up with Io, Calibos will murder her. As soon as he creates a group of scorpions, watch for the blue rings on the screen and press X, Y, A, or B when they appear.
  9. Calibos will be easy this time around. Watch out for his sword and as soon as you see a moment to strike, keep on doing so until his life gets down to the end. When it does, perform a sub weapon seize to finish him off.
  10. ACHIEVEMENT: Once you’ve defeated Calibos, watch the heart-wrenching video.

Return To Argos

Protect Pegasus

  1. It’s important to keep your healing core handy, because if Pegasus dies, you fail the quest. Unless you have a well-equipped bow, its best to rely on a different weapon and use aerial attacks against the harpies. Just keep Pegasus alive to complete the quest.

Rise My King

  1. Help King Kepheus fight off the skeletons and animated statues before heading down the stairs at the end of the hallway.
  2. ACHIEVEMENT: Successfully perform perfect sub weapon seize three times on one of the animated statues. Destroy all of the animated statues and skeletons in this area to clear the quest.

Taking Out The Trash

  1. Defeat all of the statues in the main palace area. The Pride of Ixion will then appear.
  2. The skeletons who are shooting flaming arrows will be annoying, but this boss is easy. Just watch out for his charges and use your axe to lay a beating on him. Get his health down to the last drop and perform a sub weapon seize to defeat him.
  3. After you meet up with Ozal and Kucuk, talk to Ozal to learn of your next quest.

The Reunion

  1. All you have to do for this short quest is defeat all of the enemies in this area.

To The Lighthouse

  1. This is another fairly simple, albeit long and tedious quest. Advance down the path and kill all of the enemies between the two fire barriers. This will take a while and they will appear out of nowhere, so keep your healing core handy and watch your back.

Clash of The Titans

  1. Make your way up the steps and head to the top of the lighthouse. Once on top of the lighthouse, you’ll come face to face with Kraken. He may seem ominous, but he will turn out to be a rather anti-climactic boss.
  2. The main key is to stay alive and avoid his attacks. Watch out for his water blasts and make sure to jump out of the way of his fists when he swings them. Get some hits off on his hands if you can manage, but most of the fight will be against the harpies.
  3. Keep dekeing him until the camera cuts away to Perseus going into a full-on sprint. Watch for the blue rings and hit X, Y, A, or B accordingly. Once you are thrown back down to the lighthouse, Kraken should be flashing orange — perform a chain seize immediately.
  4. ACHIEVEMENT: Once Perseus brings out Medusa’s head, you will have defeated the Kraken.
  5. After your trip to Olympus to visit Zeus, you will have defeated Clash of The Titans!
