Fallout: New Vegas is developed by Obsidian entertainment, many of whose founding members worked for Black Isle Studios, the design house responsible for Fallout and Fallout 2, two of the most vertiginous highs in gaming history. Fans of retro-futuristic, post-apocalyptic action-RPG’s are waiting with baited breath to see what Obsidian can deliver.
There are some obvious changes already made plain, like the inclusion of various gambling mini-games, item-specific VATS animations, and increased weapon-customization and item-creation utilities. One imagines that Chris Avellone and co. have many surprises left in store. If the events of New Reno in Fallout 2 are any indication, Fallout: New Vegas is going to be a hell of a ride.
Check out our full walkthrough for the game, which will cover the main quest line, as well as all the major side missions. NOTE: Fallout: New Vegas is a game with a lot of branching choices, and at first, the walkthrough will represent two potential main quest paths (Mr. House and Caesar’s Legion).
We’ve also got lists of achievements and trophies, as well as a Cheats page that acts as an information center for everything Fallout: New Vegas-related.
