Zynga Slingo Walkthrough [Guide]

Zynga Slingo is a videogame that combines the classic games of Bingo and Slots. The goal of the game is to match the numbers generated at the bottom with the numbers on the board, and to get a “Slingo” by obtaining a complete line of numbers. This guide will serve as a walkthrough of the basics of the game, and will also include a couple of useful tips to help you rise in the leaderboards!

Game Basics

The Spin
Zynga Slingo has several different stages that will require you to complete bingo lines. Accumulate enough points in order for you to finish a stage and move on to the next one. Clicking on the Spin button activates the random number generator at the bottom of the bingo card. Check and cross-reference with the numbers on your card to see if you can mark it and move on to the next spin. Numbers that have been marked on the card will be greyed out. Only a limited number of spins are given, based on the number of balls available for use.

A Joker may sometimes appear when spinning the slot machine. A Joker with a green background will allow you to select and mark any number in the same column. A Joker with a green hat, on the other hand, is slightly more useful ad allows you to select and mark any number on the board!

Slingos and Patterns
Marking five successive numbers horizontally, vertically or diagonally means you got a Slingo, and you will get points and coins for the achievement. The remaining balls may then be used to make further Slingos. At times, it will be possible to mark a number that will result to multiple slingos at the same time. These Slingo combinations will get you additional bonuses.

Pattern stages are characterized by the green numbers located on the board. On such stages, completion of the pattern is necessary before getting the completion bonus.

Coins
Completing Slingos will help you accumulate coins on the left side of the screen. Fill this up and the coins will be automatically dispersed to the bank. Multipliers may also increase as more coins are dispersed. Coins may be used to purchase additional spins when the purple balls run out.

On occasion, a spin may come up with the devil coin. This will give you the opportunity to wager a certain percentage of your score. In this game of heads and tails, getting the devil side would mean losing the percentage of score wagered. If it lands with the angel then you will get the additional score. Obviously, the higher the wager, the more score you can get or lose.

The Final Countdown
Once the purple balls are used up, the final countdown of Zynga Slingo begins. You can purchase more purple balls at 1000 coins each, or you may opt to bet a certain percentage of your points to get the red ball. The amount of points spent to purchase incrementally goes up with each succeeding ball, but there is also a good chance of getting a good payoff!

At any point in the game, you can opt to bank your score and end the game. You will keep the score as of that time, and may be a good option instead of spending more coins or a percentage of your score. The game ends when you decide to bank, or when you are able to fill the entire board.

You will be taken to the results screen which will showcase your final score, as well as all medals earned in that stage. Medals will allow you to unlock power ups that can be used to get better scores in the game. This will also help you move up on the leaderboard, and be better than friends who are playing the same game. At the end of each level, there is an option to replay it or move on to another stage.

Power Ups
Using power ups will improve several aspects of Zynga Slingo. You can boost up your scores with better odds. The Shamrock increases the probability of a Joker appearing in the game. Power-up vision reveals hidden rewards that may be underneath the game board. Devil Protection prevents a steal by the devil during the coin toss. Slingo Vision highlights the numbers or tiles that can be matched during the spin. Taunt will increase the odds of having a coin toss, and will most likely be favorable for you. You may be also given an Extra Ball that you can use for an additional spin. Power ups may be earned when getting medals and leveling up, or may be purchased with Slingo Cash.

Additional Tips
Here are some additional tips that may help you get ahead in the game:

  • Slingo Cash may be purchased using real money. If you don’t mind spending to get ahead in the leaderboards, then this is a good option for you.
  • The Shop is located at the top right portion of the screen. You can purchase energy refills, power ups and unlimited play tickets.
  • When marking numbers after a spin, make sure not to miss out on anything. Make sure to double-check all numbers in the column before deciding to hit the Spin button. However, you also need to do this at the fastest possible time to get a better time bonus.
  • Being sociable has it perks. You can send and receive energy and free balls from the leaderboards.

Final Words
Zynga Slingo is easy to play and may potentially provide tons of entertainment among friends. It also involves a little strategy, and knowing what to do and when to do it will get you really far in the game.
