-Conversion Tower-
Description: Successfully complete level 6
Strategy: Just beat level 6 in the game.
-Dangerous-
Description: Kill 250 Chimera in the single player campaign
Strategy: Do as it says. You’ll easily get this trophy during your first time through the game. I don’t think it’s possible not to get this trophy the first time through, actually.
-Ellis Island-
Description: Successfully complete level 4
Strategy: Yep.
-George Washington Bridge-
Description: Successfully complete level 3
Strategy: Ahem.
-Indscriminate-
Description: Kill an enemy with every weapon in the single player campaign
Strategy: You have to kill an enemy with every different gun in the game, first of all. This is actually practically impossible not to accomplish since the game pretty much makes you test out each weapon as soon as you get it. Secondly, you need to kill at least one enemy with the axe, one enemy with regular frag grenades, and one enemy with a hedgehog grenade.
-Military Ocean Terminal-
Description: Successfully complete level 2
Strategy: YES! YES! YES!
-Protection Camp-
Description: Successfully complete level 5
Strategy: See description.
-Staten Island-
Description: Successfully complete level 1
Strategy: Hmm…
-Upgrade-
Description: Upgrade a weapon in the single player campaign
Strategy: Use Grey Tech to upgrade a weapon. To open the upgrade menu, press select. Then choose whatever weapon you want to upgrade and tap the symbol in the middle of the screen. Rotate the cube that pops out until you find an aspect of the weapon that you’d like to upgrade and upgrade it in.
-Variety-
Description: Use the secondary fire of each weapon in the single player campaign
Strategy: The game will show you a tutorial video on using each weapon’s secondary function, and then expects you to use its secondary function in the next stretch of gameplay so you know what it does. Because of that, it’s very difficult to actually miss this trophy.
-Axed-
Description: Kill 50 Chimera with Riley’s axe in the single player campaign
Strategy: To use the axe, tap the icon that looks like an axe on the bottom right corner of the screen. The axe is almost always a one-hit kill, and it’s feasible that you could do this in one stretch, just spamming axe attacks.
-Boom-
Description: Kill 100 Chimera with headshots in the single player campaign
Strategy: Using a sniper rifle for this is the easiest. The Sixeye is the sniper in this game, but the Hunter weapon has a scope that is also very good for getting headshots. If you can get close enough to the enemies, the Mule will sometimes result in headshots as well. This trophy will depend on how many opportunities you get throughout the campaign, but you may need to play a bit of new game+ in order to unlock this one.
-Combine-
Description: Upgrade both slots of a weapon in the single player campaign
Strategy: Throughout the game, you will find Grey Tech lying around. These blue cubes are used to upgrade your weapons. There will be two different sides to the upgrade wheel, one on the left and one on the right. You can have one from the left side and one from the right side equipped at any given time. So, just purchase an upgrade that encompasses both sides.
-Deadly-
Description: Kill 500 Chimera in the single player campaign
Strategy: I also unlocked this one just by naturally playing through the single player campaign. It’s easy peasy lemon squeezy.
-Executed-
Description: Kill an Executioner
Strategy: Executioners in the game are large Chimera with huge guns on their arms. To kill them, you pretty have much to shoot only the gun, which will cause an explosion that will in turn kill it. Your first encounter with this enemy is a required encounter, where you have to kill it in order to continue. You can’t beat the game without getting this trophy.
-Impaled-
Description: Kill an Impaler
Strategy: Impalers are large enemies that kind of look like Executioners. They run around and act thrash about instead of shooting at you. To kill them, toss a grenade or hit them with an explosive weapon. This will make them stop running around, leaving the devices on their backs exposed to your weaponry. Focus all your gunfire on these until they are destroyed to kill Impalers.
-Overheat-
Description: Kill 50 Chimera by detonating their heatstacks in the single player campaign
Strategy: Heatstacks are the futuristic devices on the Chimera’s backs. When you shoot these, they begin to spark, and if you do enough damage to them, they will explode. You need to kill 50 Chimera in this manner.
-Customize-
Description: Upgrade all weapons in the single player campaign
Strategy: Some people think that this trophy is asking you to upgrade all weapons all the way in the campaign, but that’s definitely not the case. All you need to do is upgrade each weapon one time with the Grey Tech to snag this one.
-G-man-
Description: Kill Gorrell
Strategy: At the very end of the game, a QTE will occur. Complete it, and bam, you got this trophy.
-Giant-
Description: Kill any combination of 18 Impalers or Executioners
Strategy: Impalers are similar to Executioners, except they can only be killed by destroying the devices that are attached to their backs. At any rate, you have to kill 18 of them in order to get this one. You can do this by playing through the game twice, or you can do this by playing level 6, getting to the point where you have to fight like, five or six of these guys in a row, die on purpose, and then repeat the process until this unlocks.
-Incite-
Description: Complete one round of multiplayer
Strategy: If you didn’t buy the game new, you will have to purchase an online code for this trophy. Regardless, to get this, just play one round of the multiplayer in the game and this will unlock. You don’t even have to win!
-Inhuman-
Description: Kill the Leviathan
Strategy: The Leviathan is a boss that occurs about halfway through the game. Defeat him and you’re done here.
-Lethal-
Description: Kill 1000 Chimera in the single player campaign
Strategy: Believe it or not, it’s totally possible to get this trophy during your first time through the game as well. If not, you will probably unlock not too far into your second time through the game.
-Unnatural-
Description: Kill the Abomination
Strategy: The Abomination is also a boss in the game.
