Yard Sale Hidden Treasures Walkthrough [Guide]

As they say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Players can find different types of treasures within Yard Sale Hidden Treasures, a great hidden object simulation and social game from The Method and Zynga, as they try to find and collect items that they can restore and turn into valuable collectibles in order to turn a profit. While interacting with neighbors and discovering new areas to search objects on, you can raise your property value in order to unlock more rewards and be able to search more interesting and exciting items.

Gameplay
Yard Sale Hidden Treasures requires players to go through the different neighborhoods where they would have to try and discover objects and items hidden within the background. These items can be collected and restored, and you can then sell these items for a profit. Different items may be related to each other and may be part of a collection, and being able to complete collections as well as Blueprint Projects will earn you tons of rewards and experience. Of course, working with neighbors is also a great way to earn big, as they would help you expend less energy, and the time that it would take for items to be sold would be lessened significantly.

Currency
There are two types of currency at play within the game. These are Lucky Bucks and Sunny Coins. Lucky Bucks serve as the primary currency within the game, and are used to purchase different types of items, upgrades, and decorations in the store. Lucky Bucks can be earned by selling discovered and restored items. On the other hand, Sunny Coins are the game’s premium currency, and can be used to speed up processes especially when trying to get hard to come by items. These, however, cost real life currency to acquire, so it is important to spend these wisely.

Property Value
As players purchase items that they can use to decorate their home, your property’s property value would increase. This serves as your level, and the higher you level is, the more rewards and areas that you can unlock or access. Of course, purchasing decorations will cost money, so it is important to save up on your Lucky Bucks and make good sales in order to increase your Property Value quickly.

Energy
Energy is used whenever you search for items or when you restore an object. Energy refills over time, or you can use energy refills, which can either be purchased or earned as rewards, if you would like your energy levels to be replenished. The maximum energy that you can carry depends on how high a player’s level is.

Hidden Object Scenes
Hidden Object Scenes are where players would be spending most of their time in Yard Sale Hidden Treasures. As players can visit different neighborhoods and homes, they can access Hidden Object Scenes, or HOS, where they must find a list of objects provided. Players can use a magnifying tool in order to see the area better, or they can utilize Hints, of which there are two kinds. Regular hints are free, renewable, and unlimited, though it takes a while to recharge. Premium hints, on the other hand, requires Sunny Coins to use. However, Premium Hint stars can be collected from time to time so that you can use Premium hints without using Sunny Coins.

Depending on how you performed in an HOS, there would be different kinds of rewards such as items, energy refills, or Lucky Bucks. Mastery of an HOS will also cause other scenes to unlock, allowing you access to an even wider range of areas to search on. Also, as you enlist the help of your neighbors in searching for objects, you can go to Hidden Object Scenes for less energy, allowing you to search even more areas even with a small energy supply and no energy refills on hand.

A good trick when playing Hidden Object Scenes is to chain finding items. Finding items in quick succession will cause a multiplier to appear, further increasing your score. Thus, it is recommended that you find multiple items first before clicking on them in succession in order to get a higher score, thus earning you even better rewards.

Blueprint Projects
From time to time, Blueprint Projects will appear. These are projects where you will have to find multiple items in order to restore a particular object. The required items are specific to each area, and the information as to where these items could be found would be listed down. Players would then have to visit an HOS in order to find these items so that all the required objects for the Blueprint Project would be complete. Alternately, players can also use Sunny Coins in order to purchase these items outright, though this is not recommended due to your limited supply of Sunny Coins.

Once all items are completed players must then follow a series of instructions in order to fully restore the item. Once completed, this can be put up for sale for a lot of Lucky Bucks.

Collectibles
Collectibles, or related items that belong to a set, can be found in Hidden Object Scenes as well. finding all items in a collection will earn you huge rewards, so it is important to try and find all items in the set for you to be able to level up faster.

Quests
Quests are achievements that can be unlocked and attained. These can range from earning a specific score in an HOS, getting a maximum mastery in a neighborhood, or completing your first Blueprint Project. Once a quest has been completed, you will be provided with rewards such as Lucky Bucks or energy refills.

Selling Items
Items that you have collected or restored can be placed in your yard. This will cause offers to come in from different people. However, players would have to wait before an offer would be provided. Once there is an offer, players can bargain for the selling price. However, players should be careful when bargaining, as the potential buyer’s mood would drop if you place the offer too high, causing you to either have to settle for a lesser price or lose the offer altogether. A successful transaction would earn you Lucky Bucks. Just don’t be too greedy and negotiate steadily in order to avoid losing too much sales, as you would have to wait again before another offer comes up.

Keep in mind that you have limited storage space, so keep an eye out on your Inventory as well as on the number of items you have placed in your yard. Your neighbors can also help out in speeding up offers from coming in by clicking on the items in your yard. You can return the favor to your friends by doing the same in their own yards.

Daily Spin
Aside from sending and receiving gifts from friends, you can also earn free rewards by using the Daily Spin. Players can play this once a day, with the prize becoming better with each consecutive play, although this resets after a couple of days. Spinning is free once per day, though you can spin again by spending Sunny Coins. Rewards can range from currency, special items, or energy refills. Do not forget the Daily Spin as this is a free and convenient way to earn free rewards.
