Jump! Chump! Walkthrough [Guide]

Some people are blessed with amazing coordination. Others? Not so much. With Jump! Chump! you can test out your own reflexes and how your hands follow your brain. It’s not easy to empathize with two jumping blocks, but players will surely be rooting for them in no time as you coax them to move based on your input and instructions. Here’s our guide on how you can increase your chances of topping the leaderboards for this simple, yet challenging game.

Gameplay
Jump! Chump! Is an endless running game where in players would control two sides of the screen separately. Tapping on one end will cause the box on that side jump, while the other side of the screen controls the other box. Being able to control the two boxes as different obstacles run by them must be done for as long as possible, and the longest times will be posted in leaderboards so that they could proclaim that they are among the group of best players for the game.

Tips and Tricks
Controlling one side of the screen is fairly easy, but things would really get complicated once you’re needed to focus on both sides at ones. This holds especially through if blocks do not appear at the same time on each end. This will require that players think of each side as a separate stage, and they must also avoid that natural instinct to tap at both sides of the screen at the same time as this would usually not bode well in latter parts of the game.

Think of each side of the screen as a separate system. It would be difficult at first to keep track of your blocks since obstacles wouldn’t be appearing from the same side of the screen, but you will slowly be able to improve on this each time you play. Just remember to look at the screen from a panoramic perspective, and to not just focus on one small section of the game. This will allow you to have a better view of all obstacles as they appear, and would in turn give you more time to adjust your moves and take appropriate action.

Players must also be able to time their jumps, especially when running against larger boxes. The best time to jump is when the boxes are already very close, as this will give the highest chance of being able to clear them, regardless of size. Keep note, though, that some boxes are very close together, which would require players to tap rapidly in order to clear them all. Don’t panic and just tap repeatedly at the screen, however, and always keep the pace required based on the tempo by which obstacles are appearing.

Sometimes, there are also blocks that are suspended in the air by a string. Although these can also be jumped over, the most usual way to go about this is to simply let it slide from above you. Of course, there are also certain cases where in this is not possible, so use proper judgment on whether to jump or not. Jumping over hanging blocks will take much more timing and precision than jumping over big blocks, so always take the proper precautions.

Another good thing to try out when playing Jump! Chump! is to turn it into a real two player experience. Have a friend play the other side of the screen so that you can play independently but using only one device. The only problem here is if you are playing in a small device like a mobile phone, so you might have your fingers crashing against each other especially during the faster parts of the game.

Lastly, don’t forget to practice! Practice makes perfect, and you’ll slowly get to improve your skills as time would go on. Good hand eye coordination can be nurtured, and you will be able to see improvements each time you get to play, allowing you in being able to survive for much longer even as obstacles that appear become faster and more erratic. Just keep playing the game so that you can firmly establish the strategy and timing that is required to be able to last for as long as you possibly can.
