1. Bloodlust (Bronze)
- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - -
Description: 100 total kills in one match
Strategy: The easiest way to do this would to simply face off against someone that is not playing. For example, if you have a second controller, have that controller active and just kill the person 100 times in a row. Otherwise, really intense games could very easily get to 100 total kills or even beyond that in a single match.

2. Comeback Kid (Bronze)
- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - -
Description: Get eaten by the Nidhogg after nearly allowing your opponent to do the same
Strategy: Let your opponent get to the second to last screen, then fight your way back to your screen and win the game. You can’t let your opponent get another kill on you after you initiate this sequence of events. Again, the easiest way to get this trophy is to BOOST using a second active controller that has no one actually playing the game.

3. Flesh and Blood (Bronze)
- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - -
Description: Beat the single player game
Strategy: The single player in Nidhogg is set up like a lot of fighting games are set-up, or at least the old arcade ones. You fight one opponent after another in a ladder format, with each opponent progressively more difficult to defeat than the one preceding it. Beat all of the opponents in the ladder to complete the single player Nidhogg campaign.

4. GTD (Bronze)
- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - -
Description: Finish an 8 player tournament
Strategy: Simply start an 8 player tournament and then go through it all. You will need at least two controllers to do this. You can do it the legitimate way or you can just boost the trophies like you can for most of the Nidhogg trophies, assuming that you have two controllers to work with.

For 8 player tournaments, you actually only need two controllers, by the way. This is because only two people can play at a single time anyway, so there’s no need to actually have eight DualShock 4 controllers.

5. Hogglike (Gold)
- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - -
Description: Dominate every level in one single player game
Strategy: This is by far the hardest trophy to get in the game. What it entails is damn near impossible unless you are extremely good at Nidhogg. Basically, you have to beat all of the opponents in the single player game, then NEVER DIE, as you continue to beat them all.

6. Memories (Bronze)
- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - -
Description: Trap your opponent on your sword for a long time
Strategy: If you stab someone and then don’t press anything right after stabbing them, their dead body will remain on your sword until the time runs out and they respawn or you eventually move your character. Just keep them on your sword until this trophy pops up.

7. NSA (Silver)
- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - -
Description: Intelligence gathered
Strategy: This is an extremely vague trophy, but pretty easy to get once you know what it is. Basically, in pre-game lobbies for the online multiplayer, you are able to chat. Input 1000 (yes, 1000) chat comments to get this trophy. This is cumulative across all of the different lobbies that you will be sitting in during your time playing the game.

8. Perfect Stride (Bronze)
- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - -
Description: Win the faceoff and never lose the arrow in a single player match
Strategy: What this means is that you first beat your opponent and then make it all the way to the Nidhogg and beat the level while playing in single player. While going for the trophy called “Hogglike”, you will get this trophy automatically, as the “Hogglike” trophy is basically this one except for every fight in the single player game.

9. Prometheus (Bronze)
- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - -
Description: Run across the final screen in the castle with your sword cocked the whole time
Strategy: In Nidhogg, having your “sword cocked” means that you have it in the ready to throw position. To get it in this position, push the stick up. To get this trophy, you have to be playing on the map called castle, then run across the entirety of the map while having your sword in this “up” position.

10. Slow Played (Silver)
- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - -
Description: Let the timer run out on your opponent’s last screen and win in sudden death
Strategy: For this one, you need to change the variant of the game type you are playing. Make sure it is a time limit match. Then have the other player beat you and then make it to their final screen. Let the time run out on the final screen, and then defeat your opponent in the sudden death round that follows.

11. Trapped in Donkeyspace (Silver)
- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - -
Description: Play a match lasting longer than 20 minutes
Strategy: Self-explanatory. Start a match and then let it run for 20 minutes.

12. Valkyrie (Silver)
- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - -
Description: Win 100 games through matchmaking
Strategy: Using the matchmaking online versus multiplayer service, win 100 games! The game keeps a running tally of your wins and losses, so you don’t have to worry about keeping track yourself.
