Top 5 Games Shown At E3 2015

E3 2015 is right around the corner and with it comes the biggest set of game announcements, trailers, previews and most importantly brand new gameplay! With very few exceptions, if you’re into video games E3 is the show for you each year and this year the line up is so very exciting for a number of reasons, but to give you a heads up on what games you should keep your eyes out for:

#5 – Halo 5

This game is the furthest along in its life cycle, with many even having direct hands on experience already through its beta last year so it’s hardly the most mysterious game on the list, but it will involve a few nice surprises even for players who think they know it all. Phil Spencer has already made claims that this is “a big E3 for Halo 5”. The reason behind this is that the beta was a good example of a beta done right in gaming, and actually was used for the improvement of the game experience. So far we’ve seen some really big changes like higher speed, but we’ll also be seeing a few graphical polishes, an entire rebalance of the weapons and an entire story and side of multiplayer we’ve yet to see. Needless to say, Halo fans should be excited.

#4 – Mirrors Edge 2

Mirrors edge was a quirky last gen game which takes on the first person shooter from an entirely different angle, by making the game about parkour instead. This appeals to an entirely different part of the players, and created one of the most unique experiences you can play to this day. The sequel looks to be more of the good stuff, and has been in development for the past few years.

#3 -Assassins Creed: Syndicate

Assassins creed is a series with many ups and downs over its time, with last years Unity release heavily on peoples minds the sixth main game is likely to have shifted expectations, and its Victorian London setting makes this an appealing game even to gamers outside the series fan base. We don’t know too much about this game yet, but given Ubisoft’s history we are likely going to see some interesting, beautiful gameplay at E3 2015 (regardless of whether it reflects the final product)

#2 – Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Deus ex is one of the most acclaimed series of all time, but despite this because of developer switches and poorly received spin off’s in the past couple decades there have been just TWO Deus Ex games. This third game will be developed by the same team from Human Revolution, but presumably with an even stronger focus on what makes Deus Ex truly Deus Ex. This is one we know very little about now, but that is going to change for the better come E3 2015.

#1 – Fallout 4

That’s right, it has finally be announced and there’s no undoing it this time, in a very short space of time we’ll be seeing our first Fallout 4 details. All we know so far is that the game is current generation only, set in Boston and contains a dog. Despite this, anything and everything we see at E3 looks like it’ll blow away Fallout fans and truly deliver.
