Deciding the casting of Angry Birds was as exciting and interesting as it was to announce the news of making the movie. The main casting leads will be the trio of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad and Danny McBride as Red, the Chuck and the Bomb respectively. In addition to this, the movie has an awe-striking supporting cast for Pig, Matilda and Mighty Eagle. Bill Hader is taking up the role of the pig, Maya Rudoloph is striving hard for becoming the Matilda in the movie and Peter Dinklage, the Game of Thrones fame, is set to play the character of Mighty Eagle.

Sony has undertaken the rights for distribution of Angry Birds movie and proclaimed that the movie is set to release around the first week of July in the year 2016.

Rumors have filled the air for the Angry Birds for dealing with the partners to sell the toy sets. The Angry Birds discoverer, Ravio, confirmed this news by signing a partnership deal with The Lego Group. The Lego group will be the head of concern for every Lego toy with Angry Birds as its theme. They will help in selling the toys with the movie idea worldwide. The toys are also ready to make their debut along with the movie in spring 2016.
