Halo 5 Guardians – Everything you should know about Warzone Multiplayer Matches

Microsoft’s exclusive Halo 5 Guardians on Xbox One couldn’t get any better, because the game has gone back to its roots in terms of gameplay; shooting, style and speed.

Apart from the familiar player versus player multiplayer matches, the developers have also managed to integrate Holo Lens into it to provide a virtual reality experience and a new multiplayer mode named War Zone. In this mode, players are not only attacked by the players but there are going to be more enemies ready to kill you if you blink an eye and miss to shoot.

12 Player Teams Against AI Enemies and Human Enemies

When you enter the warzone in Halo 5 Guardians, you obviously start in one of the two teams. Each team will have twelve players on their side. The only problem is that they are not going to fight against 12 other players but has to enter huge maps which will be filled with swarming AI enemies.

They are not just any other enemy, but rather vary in size, shape and ability. Some of them carry powerful weapons and could easily take you down if you are not careful. As you play as a Spartan, you will have the Assault rifle combined with a magnum pistol. As you continue to play and progress, unlocking more items, you can actually become a sniper elitist to support your team or even summon a powerful warthog which will create chaos in the battlefield.

Big and Battle Driven

The biggest highlight of the warzone multiplayer mode in Halo 5 Guardians is that it’s not just another mode but rather a real new addition which is much bigger, heavier and exceptionally battle driven. The AI enemies are very real and you have multiple ways to win each round. The one team to win 1000 points is the winner which can be done both by offensive and defensive strategies.

While there are new enemies to fight with, the basic structure of Halo remains the same. The guns are there, your movement is familiar and teammates are there to give a helping hand. When you finish a match, it doesn’t matter if you win or lose because it is hugely satisfying, especially if you play along as a team, helping each other along the path. When it launches this October, there is definitely going to be a huge crowd in this multiplayer mode, besides the usual PvP modes.
