Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - Chapter 2: Docks - Get the Shockhammer, Kill Heavy Soldiers

Picking up where the last chapter left off, drop into the barge and flip the power switch to continue forward. Go ahead and use the minigun, as you’re going to be fighting quite a few soldiers in the upcoming area. Take them down as quickly as you can, and duck down into the boat if you start to take too much damage.

Open the Keep Gate

As you enter the area the Nazis will close the Keep Gate, which is located in the middle of the wall ahead of you. To open it you’ll need to trigger two levers, located on the metal walkways above you. To find these levers you’ll need to head through two gates on opposite sides of the area. You can complete this sequence in any order, however, for the purpose of this walkthrough we’ll be taking the far gate first.

Once your boat comes to a stop, take a detour to the right. You should notice a booth along the edge of the water. Pull the lever inside to open up a gate in front of you, but ignore it for now. Head back past the barge you entered the area on, and take out any Nazi soldiers in your way. Your target is a second barge, located on the far left-hand side of the docks, when looking at the Keep Gate. Kill any Nazis around you, then hop in, power it up, and ride it into the connecting section.

Here you’ll have to climb up to a platform and trigger another switch. Once that is done, hop back down into the barge, pull the switch one more time, and ride the barge until it comes to a stop. Move forward from here, taking out any Nazi soldiers that get in your way. There are also a couple of Commanders around this area, so be careful as you progress.

Ahead of you is a stairwell. Ignore the stairwell, instead turning to your right. This will lead you into the wall. Turn through the first left doorway, and locate the key on the table with the radio. Pick up the key, then return to the main corridor. Now locate the gate at the top of a small set of winding stairs, and use the key to get through and continue forward.

Keep moving forward, up the steps, and then drop down through the hole in the floor. This will leave you in a room with a ton of barrels, and a few enemies. Take them out, careful not to wake the sleeping dogs, and then locate the floor vent in the middle cell. Open it with your Pipes to trigger a longer fall and end up in a pit of water.

Take a quick look around the room and locate the mound of rubble and the climbable wall. Move up the wall, taking out the guard at the top with your suppressed Handgun, and then turn to your left and move up the steps.

Ahead you’ll find another guard, as well as a junction. Turn left, and then into the small tunnel beside the skeleton with the Throwing Knife stuffed into his skull.

This next area isn’t heavily guarded, and you’ll only find two Nazi soldiers patrolling. Take out the first with your suppressed pistol, then melee the final soldier at the top of the steps. Once both guards are down, continue down the path to the left of the tomb with the skull on it, and continue around the winding path to the next area.

Your progress forward will bring you into a hallway with a bridge, and two guards. Wait for the far guard to look away, or take them both out as quickly as possible before they cause a lot of issues. Now jump across the bridge, and head up the stairs ahead. Be careful moving forward, as there is another guard. Take him out, then move to the final landing and into the elevator. You’ll need to use your Pipes on the vent in the ceiling, do so, then climb up onto the top, and then climb up the side of the elevator shaft.

Now you’ll find yourself in a basement-like room with multiple enemies and two Commanders. One Commander is directly above you, but we’ll save him for last. For now, move through the barrels and turn right, continuing into the corridors with two or three patrolling guards. Take them out with quick headshots, then take down both of the Commanders in similar fashion. Once the area is clear, head through the door marked by the objective indicator.

Now you’re on the walkway above the docks where you entered this level. Grab the Bombenschuss scope beside the door, then take out any soldiers you run into as you continue moving around the walkway. At the end you’ll reach a closed door, simply use the lever to the left, and then head back downstairs to the main level.

Once you’re back on the main level, take out any new soldiers who have entered the area. Once you’re safe, dive into the water and swim for the gate that you opened near the beginning of this chapter. Climb onto the rubble, following the only path forward to a wall of crumbling bricks. Take them out using your Pipes, then continue around the cliff side to a climbable wall.

Time to meet your newest enemy, the Heavy Soldier. Peak over the window, taking out any soldiers you see inside with your silenced pistol. Line up a shot on the Heavy Soldier’s back tank with your sniper, and then take the shot. This will cause him to explode in one hit. Pick up the soldier’s gun to acquire an automatic shotgun, the Shockhammer.

Move left of the window where you entered, and continue down the corridor, taking out any enemies you encounter. Keep moving forward, through the far door, and out onto the metal walkway. Follow it around to the final lever, and pull it to open up the Keep Gate.

Enter the Lower Keep

With the gate open, more Nazi soldiers will swarm the area. Take them out from the safety of cover, and then head through the now opened gate, around the pillar in the middle, and interact with the turn wheel beside the final gate to bring this chapter to a close.
