Follow Helga Through the Old Town

This mission isn’t hard, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. Most of the time you’re going to be moving through the different areas, alternating between controlling a massive steel robot called the Laderoboter, or walking on foot in order to open up new routes for your machine.

Break through the first gate using the machine, then take out any zombies you see. To reach the next door you’ll have to break the lines holding up the drawbridge. Shoot them off, then bash your way into the next area.

Head across the bridge, killing zombies as you go. You can even use the German car ahead to take out a large group of enemies as they swarm towards you. Move past the vehicle to find your next gate blocked by a large iron door. To open this, disembark, and follow the right-hand wall to find an opening to the stone structure on the left side of the bridge. Inside you’ll find a lever, pull it, then return to your  Laderoboter and break through the wooden door to the next section of the map.

You’ve now reached the church ruins. To continue you’ll need to open the iron gate on the right, and travel through the crumbling stone and stairs of the old church to a lever that opens up a gate large enough for your steel machine to move through. Hop out of suit, and look behind you, towards where you just came from. Spot the doorway on your right, and head up the stairs to find a little room with a key a table.

Take the key, then head back to the small gate at the front of the church. Open it up, and begin pressing through the area. Kill any zombies who spawn, and move until you reach the lever on the far side of the loop. Pull it, then head out the gate as it opens, and hop back into your Laderoboter. Now head up the stairs, and through the church ruins to the back, bashing through the final wooden gate in your way.

Climb the Wall

Once you’re through, walk up to the cemetery gate, and interact with it while inside the suit to trigger the final cut scene of this chapter.
