Mission 2 - One Man's Trash
After speaking with Floyd and finding out that he needs more supplies head to the objective marker on your screen. Your destination is the Crown Blades Factory and once you arrive you'll be asked to Collect 10 Vat Parts for Floyd.
Make your way over to the objective marked on your screen, bypassing or taking out any OD that you spot along the trek. We actually stopped and took a few mutants out, but were quick to get back on track when we found ourselves overwhelmed.
As you arrive at the factory grind along the railroad tracks and snatch up any Vat Parts left lying around. You’ll need to take out more OD, but there aren’t enough to be much more than a simple bother.
After you have the first batch of Vat Parts, Floyd will contact you and tell you to Follow the tracks to the next crash site, at which point you’ll need to head towards your updated objective marker.
Tip: Shooting red barrels will cause them to explode, and this is a brilliant way to take our large groups of mutants while using minimal effort.
With any OD out of your way your objective will seem clear, however, as you move closer you’ll be introduced to a new kind of enemy called a Popper. These foes are a real pain if they manage to get close to you, so make it a point to shoot them down as far away as possible. If one does get within melee distance make sure to take it down as quickly as possible to avoid suffering any serious damage.
With the Poppers taken care of collect the remaining Vat Parts and return to Floyd at the Brewery. You might bump into a few more OD along the way, but it’s not anything you can’t handle. As soon as you arrive and deliver the goodies this mission will come to an end.
