Act 3 - Mission 5 - Ferry to Nowhere
Before you can get started on this mission you’ll need to setup traps and turn the valve. The first part is super important and we have the perfect formula to make sure you’re successful. You see, the Pyro Geyser is one of the cheapest and most effective traps in the game. Rather than mess around with the others we just loaded up about 10 or those big boys, covering the Overcharge stations and the surrounding areas.
With the traps set and the valve turned you’ll need to go to work and protect the Overcharge. Like any good defense mission, your best bet is to stick to the power lines and deal with any OD with the TNTeddy. Once they do eventually break the barricades jump on the Pyro Geyser traps to cook them like overdone burgers.
Tip: Once the Herker shows up it’s time to take out your Dirty Harry and put the beast down quickly. This is your FIRST and only priority at the start of this wave.
The second wave is going to get a bit more intense, but that’s pretty much to be expected. This is where you’ll want to make expert use of the Pyro Geyser traps, using them to keep bouncing and setting hordes of stinky OD on fire. Combine that with your TNTeddy and you shouldn’t have much trouble at all.
Tip: You can always use your Freeze Bomb to turn enemies who get too close to the Overcharge into popsicles, then just toss down an Acid Sprinkler and watch them die.
Once the battle is finally over and the sky turns blue once more it’s time to get the Amps from the amp chamber and complete this mission. Easy peasy… right?
