R-Tech Commander Colony is a new MMO real time strategy game with an outer space setting for iPhone and iPad gamers, following in the footsteps of games such as Total Domination: Nuclear Strategy and Galaxy Empires. Your goal is to build your colony from being weak with few resources to strong with plenty of resources, a huge fleet of ships to attack other colonies and protect your own. Read on for a guide on how to get all of the necessary resources!
Aluminum (or Aluminium, depending on what country you’re from) is mainly used for such things as building and repairing ships. Your Al Works buildings earn you more Aluminum, so to get more Aluminum, you can build more Al Works, and upgrade your existing ones. Make sure, though, that after you upgrade your Al Works buildings, to tap them to increase your manning to 100%, because it doesn’t automatically increase every time that you upgrade it.
He-3 is an energy resource that is produced by the energy plant, and crystal mines produce crystals. Energy is used to travel back and forth in between planets, and crystal is used in the construction of both ships and buildings. Upgrade your crystal mines and energy plants to get more Crystals and He-3. Upgrading each of these resource-creation buildings not only increments how many they earn you per hour (at the cost of having to place more of your settlers in each one), but they increase the maximum that they can hold before they stop collecting their select resources.
In addition, any time that you wage a battle against someone else’s ships and win, you will earn every one of these resources as an award. The quickest way to do it, though, is to go to the map area and go to one of the multiple resource planets. Tthe aluminum planet is grey with rings, the crystal planet is covered in blue crystals, and the gas planet is perfectly round and a light slate blue. Attack them, destroy the ships who are guarding them, and you will earn a huge resource reward (different depending on which planet you attack), as well as be able to collect resources just as if it was one of your buildings.
To store more resources, build extra storages and upgrade your existing storages. If you don’t do this in time then you risk running out of storage room, although considering that each one holds a massive amount of resources, then it should not be too big of a problem.
