Fishing Superstars is one of the top story based fishing games on the iOS. Unfortunately, like a lot of other games, you are limited in what you can do by how much energy you have left in the game. Fishing costs 5 energy apiece (more as you get to tougher stages in the game), and feeding your fish costs 1 energy apiece. Gold is the primary currency of this game (with stars being the premium currency, of course), and you use it to buy new equipment, upgrade current equipment and more. Read on to find some tips and tricks on how to get more of both!
One trick to get gold more quickly is to do the following. Every single time that you set a new record for a certain fish, you get a bonus amount of coins. So instead of upgrading to a B-bait right away even if you can afford it, buy all five types of C-bait first (they attract smaller fish, and each different bait attracts different fish). Use all five of them on each course and set a new set of records.
In addition, cast farther away from the water rings, then move closer to the water rings as you go, because the closer to the rings you get, the bigger the fish that you catch. Move up to the better baits once you fully exhaust all of the C-baits, then follow suit with the A-baits and (if you want to spend stars on them) the S-baits. Make sure to train your character and upgrade her fishing rod in order to make it easier to catch fish more quickly.
To do it a simpler way, though, simply upgrade to a B-bait and use the bait until it expires, catching bigger fish and selling them right away so that you can make immediate gold off of them.
To get more energy, you can do a few things. Either wait for it to return after you run it out, or gain one experience level for a full energy refill. Use better baits to catch bigger fish to gain more experience points per energy expended. Alternatively, you can also enter competitions, and while you’ll win some free S-bait and crowns if you are in the top of the ranks, you’ll still win large gold and energy prizes if you are in the top 1,000 total.
