Little Dragons (iOS) Guide, part 2: More tips, tricks, cheats, hints and strategies

Welcome back to part 2 of the Little Dragons guide for iPhone. Click here to go back to part 1 of the guide.

The time trick, as mentioned in the previous part of the article, works for every single aspect of the game. Use the time trick if you do not want to wait for hours at a time until your dragons are finished breeding, as well.

You can also do the same trick with the Viking Agency, so start a mission with the highest level dragon that you have (so that you can earn more coins). Set the game a day ahead and then go back to it and collect all of the coins that you racked up from the 24 hour quest. Go back to the time settings and put the time back to normal, and then go back to the game and start using your coins to chop down every tree on the island (or almost every tree depending on how many coins you won). Then use the time cheat to speed that up, too.

Any of the quests that require you to buy a decoration will give you free energy to feed your dragons with as a reward, as well as enough coins to recoup part of the cost of the decoration. You don’t want to have your decorations taking up valuable space that could be used buying more dragon habitats (unless you already have an expansion), so basically, by selling them after you complete the quest, you just earned energy for doing almost nothing.

If you are running low on cash, get some free cash by either clicking on the banner ads at the bottom of the screen and downloading the advertised apps, or by reaching a level that is a multiple of 5 (for example, level 10, level 15, level 20) to complete the quest associated with reaching that level. Both ways will earn you free cash as a reward.

If you run out of space even after getting rid of all of your decorations and all of your trees and rocks, but you can’t yet afford to buy an expansion island, try putting one of your buildings, such as the Viking Agency, onto the small island that’s connected by a bridge to your main island. Some smaller buildings can fit on it, but some larger dragon habitats won’t be able to fit.
