Welcome to the beginner’s guide to Smash Cops Heat! This game by Hutch is a direct sequel to the original Smash Cops, and in no time flat it has become a smash hit. Your goal is to complete a number of levels in which you ram cars and smash them in order to arrest the suspect, or to drive to a certain location in the city and hit checkpoints on the way, all the while shaking the suspects who are trying to wreck you. Read on for the beginner’s guide to Smash Cops Heat!
When you go through the tutorial, you will be taught how to do the steering system. Basically, the way to accelerate and to steer is to put your finger behind the car. Move your finger to the left, and your car goes to the right. Move your finger to the right, and the car goes to the left. The fun part about this is that you can do rapid drifts and spin turns with this control system; however, if you don’t like it, you can go to the settings and change it to the joystick system.
There are three main types of stages. One of them is the pursuit stage, which is where you have to chase down one or more suspects and smash their cars up in order to win. You’ll see a damage bar above their car, and once the damage bar is emptied, the suspect will be arrested. Once your damage bar is empty, your car will break down and you will lose the stage.
The second type of stage is the emergency stage. This stage requires you to drive fast, and hit checkpoints in order to add time to your countdown. If you run out of time or if your damage bar drops to 0, you lose. In some emergency stages, suspects will chase you down, but you can smash and arrest them too in order to score more points in the stage.
The third type of stage is the challenge. This consists of random challenges, such as doing a time attack road course without hitting cones, driving down the freeway with a badly damaged car, or collecting evidence. If you beat one of these stages, you’ll get a power up, such as a Super Cop or a Instaram.
