Guide to Smurf Life for iOS, part 2: Tips, tricks, hints, cheats and strategies

Welcome to part 2 of the Smurf Life tips and tricks guide! Click here to go back to part 1 of the guide.

No matter which job you chose in the beginning of Smurf Life, whether you decided to be a builder or an alchemist, you can always go back and do the other jobs any time that you want to. The builder jobs are on the left side of the main play area, and the alchemist jobs are on the right side of the play area. Simply go over to the side that isn’t your main job and start talking to the smurf by the cauldron, and you can start trading with him and doing his jobs.

Go down south a bit in the play area to find even more smurfs to trade with. The smurf in front of the hut with all of the color splotches on it will sell you dyes, and the smurf in front of the hut across from the artist smurf will sell you new clothes. The new clothes don’t come in handy for any quests; they are just fun to have.

When you have explored elsewhere in the world, an easy way to get back to the quest that you were previously in the middle of completing (or the next quest you are trying to complete, either as a builder or an alchemist) is to hit the quests icon, and then hit the quest that you want to do. Once you do that, tap the “track” button and your smurf will automatically go back up to the quest area; more specifically to the area that he is supposed to be at in order to do the next step in the quest.

If you are running out of energy and you have a bunch of extra wood or stones left over (depending on what your job is), just go to one one of the two work benches and start crafting the most basic items (the mortar and pestle or the wooden dowel) and craft until you earn more and more stars. Better yet, just craft one of every new item you see, even if you don’t need to at the present moment, to earn a star on each one.
