When you hit level 4, you will unlock your first upgradable player skill, and from then on out you will be able to unlock more skills, and upgrade them provided that you have the cash to do so. Keep using cash to upgrade both your skills and your weapons and you will remain unstoppable in both the missions and, as your skill increases against your fellow players, your multiplayer mode.
Pick the best vantages points based on what weapon you decide to use for a round. For example, if you pick the sniper rifle, hide somewhere far away, but where you can still see your adversaries on the screen. If you have a machine gun or an assault rifle, stay close and zig zag, strafing as much as possible. If you are using a bazooka, try to find a place that is higher up, and try to get more than one enemy together at the same time if possible.
Complete missions as quickly as possible in order to earn coins as quickly as possible, so that you can buy the best weapons as quickly as possible. Also, after you upgrade your weapon once, there isn’t much need at all to upgrade your weapon again until you can afford one that can really destroy an enemy rapidly and make the game easier for you.
Toward the end of a round (the last twenty seconds or so), if you are in the lead, start to play the round a little bit more defensively and start trying to avoid enemies as much as you can. However, if you are behind or it is close, go for broke and do the oppposite. Play more aggressively and start trying to kill as many enemies and collect as many points as possible before the time runs out.
