The Last Driver is a new endless driving game for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. It’s a new indie game crated by a guy named Cristiano Bartel and then picked up and published by Chillingo. It’s a post apocalyptic world, and you drive while trying to avoid various obstacles such as cars, fat zombies, giant Transformeresque robots, and even Tyrannosaurus Rexes. Wanna go as far as you can, collect as many coins as possible, and complete more missions? Read on for some tips and tricks for The Last Driver!
If you are someone who plays a lot of endless running games, or even endless driving games, you might be a little bit confused by the controls at first. To put the game back on tilt controls, go to the main menu, then go to to the Controls setting, put it on tilt, and then increase the tilt sensitivity to the maximum setting, and it will feel just like the games that you are used to. The tilt sensitivity is naturally awful in this game which is why it has to be increased.
If you are having issues with some of the quests, then usually upgrading the tires and the armor (the two most expensive things, of course) will be the things that help the most, but earning enough coins for it can be a frustrating endeavour. To rectify this, play over and over until you get enough coins just by collecting them and by killing zombies that you can beat the mission.
Or even better, if you are stuck on a nearly impossible mission (such as the one where you have to have a zombie hang onto the car for two seconds in a row), earn 2,000 coins, then go to the garage and go to Cheats, and “unlock” the impossible mission. This is worth it if you just want to get past that one and then continue on with your quests.
