If you grew up on virtual pet games such as Tamagotchi back in the day, then you’ll love Virtual Families 2: Our Dream House, which in a way is like Tamagotchi for grown-ups. In this case, instead of a virtual pet, you get to look after a (surprise surprise) virtual family of your own. Even when you don’t play the game, the family keeps on living, growing and aging. Read on for some tips and tricks for Virtual Families 2!
Sometimes it can be tough to figure out what to do to get the family to grow, eat and be happy and to make money, but the praise tool is excellent for this. In fact, if you use the praise tool correctly, it’s entirely possible for the family to live without you, and the only thing you will need to come back for is to check emails and make babies.
For example, if you buy groceries and they cook food, praise them. Take them over to their respective work sites, and praise them when they are working. When they are cleaning dirt or picking up trash, praise them as well. Do this for any activity that increases either the money, their energy, health, happiness, or how well fed they are. This also includes cooking, sleeping, showering, washing clothes, etc.
If you want time to go by faster in the game, go to the date and time settings in your phone and set the time ahead by however much you want – it all depends on how much time you want to pass. For example, if you set the time ahead by one real life day, then about 5 years of in-game time will go by. People will get older, and your money will increase.
Be careful how far ahead that you set time, however, because when you set the time back to normal on your phone, the time in the game will stay the same, rather than go backwards, so your best bet is to set the time ahead gradually I.E. by about 12 hours of real life time at a time. This allows you to come back and treat people if they’re sick, read emails, make more babies, etc.
