How to play Bread Kittens for iOS, part 3: FAQ and Beginner’s Guide

In the second part of the Bread Kittens beginner’s guide, we discussed battling and more. But there are so many more little details to the game. For example, the bakery, where you can bake more capture bread, as well as bread that can be equipped on your cats, and used to increase their attack and defense. As you gain levels and advance further in the game you will be able to unlock more bread; once you do that, all you need is enough flour in order to bake it. Flour can usually be gained after any battle that you fight, unlike cat food which usually comes when you beat a boss cat.

One of the most recent additions to the game is the cat colosseum, which you can get to by hitting the “menu” button and clicking on the crossed swords icon. This is a one on one battle, in which you choose one of your cats to fight the battle, and you fight against one cat from someone who is randomly chosen by GameCenter, or one of your GameCenter friends. Your best bet is to pit your rarest cat in these kinds of battles. As you play you also win 2x RP boosts, which will double your stats for one battle, giving you a much greater chance of a win.

Also, after you beat the Peris stage you will unlock the slots game, which you can use to earn more Meowbux (the premium currency in the game), cat food and flour, among other goodies. You get five turns at the slots per day, so use them as often as possible in order to maximize your prizes.

Tap on the notebook inside the menu button (the one with the question mark inside it) for an extended FAQ on the game. Tap on the yellow notepad icon to check out a list of achievements that you can complete. Each one that you complete will earn you various prizes, such as Meowbux and cat food.

That’s about it for Bread Kittens! The rest of it is stuff you’ll learn as you get out of the beginner stage and become an expert at this game, so play on.
