Lep’s World 2 is less a sequel and more a batch of new levels for the original Lep’s World for iOS, but it is indeed a completely separate game. The gameplay should be familiar to Mario fans everywhere, as you jump, hit shamrock blocks (instead of question mark blocks), collect coins, break bricks, and finish the stage at the rainbow instead of the flagpole. Read on for some tips and tricks for Lep’s World 2!
In each stage you can be rated anywhere between 0 and 3 pots of gold. The more pots of gold that you have in your overall ratings, the faster you can unlock new stages and levels. The ratings are based only on if you collect all three individual pots of gold in each stage, though, so make sure not to leave any behind when you are playing through.
If you want more extra lives (not that they make that much of a difference, but they help), go to a stage that you know to either have a ton of coins or a 1up hidden somewhere in the stage, and play it over and over again, collecting all the coins and/or the 1up without dying. Maximize your extra lives this way.
If you are playing for the highest amount of points possible, collect EVERYTHING – coins, pinecones, shamrocks, etc – and break all of the bricks. Don’t shoot any of your pinecones – save them for the end as they will be worth points at the end of the round. In addition to all of this, finish each stage as quickly as possible to earn time bonuses.
Break all of the golden shamrock boxes, as well, because there are useful power ups in them, such as super speed. Also, if you jump, you can do two types of jumps – a high jump or a low jump. If you do a low jump, you can jump again in mid air, but if you do a high jump, then you won’t be able to do a mid-air double jump.
