Guide to A Little War for iOS: Tips, tricks, hints, cheats and strategies

A Little War is a new game that pits your little army against the computer opponent and their little army in a battle to the death. You have one general, who is the “hero” and then a bunch of smaller troops. Your goal is to go from level to level fighting against increasingly stronger enemy troops, trying to earn three stars per level. Read on for some tips and tricks for A Little War!

Right from the beginning use all of the gold that you earn from battle to upgrade your troops. Upgrade them to at least level 5, if not higher, and they will easily be able to take out the goblin armies in about two hits each, and you will earn even more gold, as well as have to spend less gold on rejuvenating your troops.

Next order of operations should be to increase the maximum amount of troops at least once, so that you can use 20 troops at a time instead of 10, and then max out your actual number of troops. Do this until the enemy armies become even bigger than yours, because the more troops you have attacking enemies at the same time, the faster you will kill the enemy troops, meaning the less troops that you will lose, so that again, you spend less gold on troops as you go. Increase the maximum again as needed.

When you are playing the elf game, tap him as fast as humanly possible because he drops one piece of bronze, silver or gold with each time that you tap him. Then, when you are picking up the gold, tap the gold with two different fingers to pick it up more quickly. Don’t use two fingers at the same time, as this will do nothing, but instead alternate your finger taps.

If you are finding a current battle a little too tough to beat, or you don’t have enough stars and you want to earn more easy stars, go back to a stage that you have played previously and beat it again. With stages where you earned less than three stars, it will now be much easier to earn three stars. When playing for gold simply play the same stages over and over. While you will earn gold more slowly this time around, it does add up especially if you are playing an old stage with lots of enemies in it.
