Draw Rider is a side scrolling bicycle riding game for the iOS. Despite the stick figure graphics, the game actually has very realistic physics. Sure, your character is a better bike rider than you are in real life unless you’re a professional, but you have to try to actually land realistic moves, because anything too unrealistic will kill you. Read on for some tips and tricks for Draw Rider and Draw Rider Plus!
The A button is the “go” button, while “b” is stop, and left and right tilt your rider the way you want him to go. When you are going off a jump, you can hold left or right to do backflips or front flips if the jump is high enough. Doing backflips actually increases your speed and your chances of a solid landing, provided that you land the flip correctly and don’t crash and fall on your head in the process.
If you are having issues getting over a particular jump, try letting off of the go butto and letting the game move you back, and then take the jump or the hill with a speedier start. This should help you get over most of the bad hills that you face.
Don’t hold down the left or right buttons for too long unless you really need to or unless you are trying to flip. When you are using them to steady yourself, tap them rather than hold them, because they will cause you to tilt very rapidly in a very short amount of time, and if you tilt even just a little bit too far, you lose.
